McKenzie wins almost all of their games...Year in and Year out...They make a whole heck a lot of qrt finals and a few semis and championship game where they got it handed to them... The point of this post is to say....the exact same thing will happen this year...you may make it past aville but you will not get a gold ball.... As a West Tennesee football fan I would love to see the Rebels and Comer bring a gold one back to the West!....I know Comers family back in Decatur and have attended numerous of their playoff games in the past rootin for the rebels..From what i saw last Friday nite against a lil ole Riverside team was not that impressive to be a contender!!

As a Riverside fan I have to say for them to have a chance Friday night they are defanitley gonna have to play a lot better than they did against Westwood for sure.... For the WingT Im sure they will use and abuse it...but Im pretty sure there will be some wrinkles in the O...Far as Defense i think we will be alright... The secondary left some wholes agains Westwood but that has not been typical...They will be ready for Mckenzies passing/running attack...The secondary has around 10-12 int on the season if not more.. Everybody keep on picking against Riverside...Please!!!... Just like everybody did with us and TCA...we had no chance!! McKenzie is a great team!!.... And they definately have the advantage and experience...Respect to the Rebels for sure!!..

Well three backs is very very rare!!..What is their names and stats?

Jarret Scott and Brice White (Juniors) from Riverside have now both passed the 1,000 yard mark and both have around 10 rushing TDs or more...Not exact on the Rushing TDs... Both backs have had at least one game of 200+ yds... I would have have to think that both backs have had 100+ yds in the same game at least 5 or 6 times!... Does anyone else have a two backs with numbers like this....

Riverside will be back again also next year!..Both backs, Brice White and Jarret Scott ,who will have over 1,000+ yards and at least 15tds each at the end of this season will be back... also a good part of the line will be back.. So TCA and Riverside should be at the top next year...don't know what Aville is bringing back...But Riverside needs to finish up this year and not worry bout the future! TCA can go ahead and worry bout next season!!....

Well Riversides win Friday Night was great...Riverside still didn't get their "win to speak of" though.. (sarcasm).. since TCA is now 3-5... By the way I believe Riverside's first win was a win to speak of.. Recent polls have Perry County ranked 8th in 1A at 6-2...

With the new state polls out Riverside is ranked 4th and JCS 5th in the state...Riverside is also ranked #1 in West Tn above JCS and Huntington..They have beaten quite a few ranked teams in A, AA, and AAA with wins over Southside, Humbolt, JCS, Huntington, and LibertyTech.. I would have to say Riverside is probaly one of the biggest surprises of the season..Just hope they can continue playing great ball in the post season.. Anybody can beat anybody on any given night!!

Riverside beats JCS 14-4 today...they go 1 and 1 in their two games...Should be a good contest come tournament time!!

Well coach rhodes was saving his starting rotation and bullpen for JCS who they play monday and tuesday. Riverside started a freshmen who i don't think has even started one game.The games against JCS will decide who will win district. Even though they lost they know they are better than that..It's not a big deal!

They are playing some good ball right now...And in the first state poll they are ranked 5th in the state...Anybody know how long it has been since Riverside has been ranked top 10 in the state?

Yeh the whole game was a speed up game due to the weather. Game moved up, many fouls not called on both sides, shortened half time and a horrible game played by Riverside. Brandon Tubbs, Riversides best player has had pnuemonia all week and missed school all week. Even had it when they played Scotts Hill. He was hurtin the whole game and weak. His shot was short all night...Middleton's pressure got them and i bet Riverside had 30 or more turnovers...Good game in the first half..Riverside only scored 2 points in the 3rd qrtr and wouldn't have got 10 in the 2nd half if the bench players hadn't come later in the game. All in all Riverside had a great year and if will be another great year next year. Only losing 2 seniors..Good job Panthers!!

I agree with you on about everything you posted. Riverside does have the size to match up and they can match the speed with some of the bench players on the defensive side of the ball. But they are underclassmen and see maybe 10 minutes a game. Scotts Hill does have a huge three point advantage but Riverside has a pretty good 3 point shooter, Ryne Fisher, who didn't get to play the first time they played due to injury. He's been starting lately and only a freshmen. Like i said when i posted on the Riverside- JCS game if they don't get behind early they could pull it out. Should be a good one!!

Brandon Singleton was dismissed from the team...He is a great player but honestly Riverside has a better team chemistry without him. They have won every game without him..They are essentially the same team. They have talent off the bench that can step up when needed.
