2 key players in starting lineup suspended for having a little too much fun prom night.

No excuses, we lost. Like it was said you have to hit the ball if you want to win. I do think if it were played as a series we would win 2 out of 3. Last night was just not our night. So therefore we will be paying to go to the boro. But you know what, as of right now I don't think siegel has sailed through yet. So they don't need to start getting too cocky themselves. But you know what, it is a compliment for us to hear "we beat Coffee County". Cause we know we are good. We just have rough times like anyone else. For now next year is a long time away. So I won't even begin to bore anyone with the "how great we will be speech". Remember, time will tell all.

I know prom is Saturday night for Coffee County but I think if game had been moved to 6 we could have gotten it in and then played Saturday morning if necesary. I just think putting it off till Sunday is gonna create a problem.

I have heard tonights championship game is rescheduled for Sunday at 3. What about the Lincoln Co. Lawrenceburg game has it been rescheduled or is it still at 5 tooday?

It is unbelievable that no matter how hard two good teams play there always has to be someone trying to throw egg in someones face. A simple good job would have been sufficient.

Well now they have both beat each other twice so what does that mean? It means even playing ground now. Noone can say one is the underdog or one is superior. As I keep saying time will tell. Go Lady Raiders!!!!!

Yeah they did and we beat them the last time we played. I do believe that was in the Coffee County Classic or did YOU miss that. Time will tell who comes out on top.

JV sat and watched. I don't think he waws trying to run up the score. He just never puts JV in a varsity game, unless of an injury like last night.

While our coach does give the JV squad and the Varsity the same uniforms, sweats, bat bags or anything else that goes with it and he does try to have a jv game every time there is a varsity game. What I don't approve of is how during varsity games all players are expected to be in dugout cheering and watching but when it comes to the jv game the varsity is not expected to stay in dugout and watch or if a home game they don't even have to be there for start of game. I think that is just poor taste. I think they should be treated as an equal team, everything should go both ways. They practice together ride buses together do fund raising together they should route for each other equally.

Is the Tullahoma invitational this weekend and if so when does Manchester play? Assuming they are going anyway.

Great group of girls. They have some depth on this team which is great. Should do really well this year.--In MY opinion.

Why do you not ever hear anything out of coffee county people? Not know about this website or just don't care enough to stand behind their team? I personally have not seen them practice any this year, but i as always hope they do really well. And as always I say they will be just as good as the coach lets them be.

Saw on the Red Raider website where you say KJ needs 55 yds to have a 1000 yd season. I hope he gets it to at least make up for some of this disappointing year. At least to cap off this year with an accomplishment like that, might take some of the sting out, for him anyway.

As much as I support the Raiders I do not feel we are in the same league as Goodpasture, so unfortunately I do not see us winning. But how you lose can be just as important. Go in with the fight in you, don't let them push you over, make them struggle for every point. Lets not roll over and hand it to them. Lets have some fun!!

I know both teams want this bad but of course I am pulling for the raiders. Pull together and play as a team. Get that win!!!

You'd be surprised at what I have! Are you saying these things were not said? Then you are the one with no clue.

Who said to baby them? Noone that I have read. But, there is a difference in calling them dumb----- and f-ing horrible and motivating them to do more than thry could think physically possible. Do you think because you are on the sidelines you have a special scoop on seeing what goes on. Do you think because you are a sportswriter you are more knowledgeable on the art of motivation. I'd take Price and his tantrums over Nunley any day. Price could holler with the best of them, but he never made you feel useless, selfish, or horrible. He could take a whooping and the after game speech made "you" as a community feel there was something to look forward to next week. Not dreading it. If Nunley is so embarassed after every game, maybe he shouldn't show up. I am done with this subject, for awhile anyway.

Guess what I have no kids on the team at all. Whether you believe that I dont care. I have never singled out a player and said they dont need to play nor will I. I have only said quit demoralizing them. Give them inspiration. I wasnt a fan of Bill Price either but he did motivate and the kids respected him.

Maybe you didnt say he is the only one, but he is always the only one you call by name. Give credit across the board. He had to have had help to open some holes or to have some blocking to allow him to do what he did. Not to take anything from KJ he works hard and i do see the drive and the commitment he puts in. I just know there are 11 players on the field at one time. It takes all of them to win and all to lose.
