And also, I don't think that's doing anything but raising his stock in both sports. When my cousin was getting interest from both sports, he actually told me that he was encouraged to play more than one sport by several big d1 schools. Said they liked that about him because not only did some of the skills transfer but that meant they knew he had room to grow...

After what I'm seeing this season, I think there's no question that he might be playing his best sport as we speak. I have no doubts he's a good player in football as well, but I got a feeling his interests in basketball are gonna skyrocket here before too long. If people don't know who he is yet, its coming...

I agree too, 23 is a stud. This isn't the first time I've seen him play but he continues to impress me. He was the most impressive kid to me on the floor! One of the most talented guards that I've seen in a long time... Hats off to dyer county, they have a great club. And the season looks very bright for the patriots as well!! What a game!

I think the championship game was just played. Great game by both teams and should make both teams better in the future. Hc led most of the game but didn't come away with the win. Its a shame these two can't play again. Good luck to both teams tomorrow. Might be tough to get up after tonight, but these were definitley the best two teams at the tournament, no questions asked!

Yeah I agree but unfortunately it looks like the tourney is set up so westview can make it to the championship. Looks like we may see the two best teams in the tournament square off in the semis, hebry county and dyer county! Was this tourney not seeded? I mean come on now seriously! They should be on opposite sides of the bracket let's be honest

If Gibson County can handle the ball and not make sill turnovers against the press, they will come out victorious. DC half court defense is bad. If they can't get you to make dumb turnovers, they flat can not defend you. I know that's gonna outrage some of you choctaw faithful, but look at it objectively and you will see. They will get exposed when they play teams that have good guard play.

This is retarded and I would be outraged if I went to this school or actually had any idea where it was. Boys game is last regardless of how good the program is simply because boys games are more exciting to watch. They are played at a faster pace and with higher intensity. Most basketball fans would rather watch a highschool boys game than a WNBA game any night of the week. Why? Because boys basketball is just simply more entertaining. This is to take nothing away from girls basketball, because I have seen some very good girls programs and some are enjoyable to watch, but it's not a fair comparison. They are two different entities. This won't work and won't last, bottom line..

Northeast looked tough last night. I expected a much better game but they dominated Clarksville and you never really had any doubt about who was in control. I think the final score was 77 to 57. So that puts Rossview, Northeast, Henry, and Springfield at 1-0. I'm ready for friday night!

Yeah you are probably right. The only game I am curious about is NE Cville though. From what I'm hearing NE seems to be the favorite by most people but I am picking that as my upset of the night. If that counts as an upset that is. I just think Cville has too many kids returning that know how to win and this early in the season will be able to get it done. But who know, I'm just glad the district is starting finally

Ok out of all that you said, the most impressive stat to me was 6 charges. Are you serious? That's outstanding if you are! All kids wanna dunk and then point to their girlfriend in the crowd, but very few still wanna do the little things that make you succesful. If this is true, I may be forced to jump on this kids bandwagon and get out to see him play

The head of the program does have every right to assert his judgement into certain matters as he sees fit. And you all need to be thankful he is there, obviously this is not his first rodeo. Can't argue with success. How many wins does he have? Gotta be near 800 now I would assume, incredible!
