Franklin-80 BGA-52 this was an easy win for the Rebels with Young leading the way with 25 (7 three's) and Kegarise with 15 (5 three's). the Rebels travel to Panama City over the Christmas Break.

Franklin vs. BGA tomorrow night at BGA. This should be an easy one for the Rebels but they still have to play their game. Final Score: Franklin-67 BGA-46

the trouble with columbia is the fact that this was the third time franklin had played them in the past 30 days. i'd say beating any team three times in thirty days is pretty good (unless its hillwood). Franklin can battle with upper tier metro teams as well, but antioch is the only team that they would struggle with. although any team in the mid state would have trouble with antioch becasue they run it.

Hillsboro is an up and down team. if everything is clicking for them and all is good, they are a tough team to beat, but if it's the other way around, teams are able to blow them out and that is the night when ravenwood caught them b/c eight out of ten times hillsboro will beat ravenwood. look for the franklin vs. hillsobro game to be a tight one or a blow out

Franklin has no quality wins? well i do not really understand this coming out of a ravenwood mouth considering the tough strength of schedule they have had to play. didn't a team out in the boonies named Page beat yall? i say franklin wins this one by 12 tomorrow night and this will show you ravenwood fans that Franklin is the real deal. My score prediction: 69-57

Hillwood @ Franklin tonight! this is franklin's first district game this year.

Antioch by far has the best starting five in middle tennessee and i'd say one of the top five in the state.

the antioch scrimmages have nothing to do with who is the better team b/c even though ravenwood didn't get beat as bad(almost as bad though) as Franklin did i still would pick Franklin to be #1 to win this district and centennial right behind them. After that it would be hillsoboro and then ravenwood. besides keith morris and becker there is no one to help ravenwood to win this district.

yea Franklin got beat 68-28 but antioch looked good and they will be good. i still say franklin wins this district b/c once the season starts they will be prepared. This also happened a year or two ago when franklin got beat by Whites Creek in a scrimmage by about 35 and then went on to region again and this time only lost by about 8 or 10. even though they lost again it wasnt as bad and they were much more ready and prepared. Franklin will still win this district with centennial right behind them.

the scrimmage is at franklin but im not sure what time. i think after school around 3:30 or 4

franklin plays antioch in a scrimmage tomorrow so this will be a true test for the rebels. they will be without starnes (football) but antioch will be missing some key players too like Mackadoo.

im pretty sure he can hang with McMillan and hes better than him. kelly on the other hand is just too dominant and there arent many people in the state that can handle him

you cant say that franklin's inside game will be bad when starnes is a threat and Haddix is too. and oh yea, haddix is 6'9. although i will say i think centennial's inside game does have the edge just because of Kelly

well your obviously a centennial fan and i can agree with you that centennial will be a contender but when u say that Franklin isnt returning many of their starters, that does not matter. their junior class with players such as young, starnes, kegarise, and haddix are just as good if not better than all of last years starters. Franklin's coaching will help but that is not what is going to carry them, those players i just mentioned will carry franklin.

i agree with the man aboves post. the raptors will not have a chance at beating franklin. yea yall might come within about 10 or 12 but thats as close as you'll probably get

yall are overlooking franklin high school. they made it to sectionals last year and lost to clarksville. have some really good talent. just watch out for this team this season

i just wanted to say that i agree with Mojack in the fact that Hillsboro has the most talent in the district and alot of people are overlooking them. i saw them play at some team camps and they are good enough to win the district. just so everyone knows, im not saying they will, but they are my sleeper pick for 11-AAA.

here are my top juniors in the state this year with by far Leslie McDonald at #1 and then the other notables such as Drew Kelly(Centennial), Michael Young(Franklin), John Jenkins(Station Camp), Ferrakhon Hall(?), and some one who has not been named but Tavarres Jefferson(Ensworth-he is a top recruit in football at cornerback and a 2 star on rivals for basketball)

1. Franklin 2. Centennial 3. Hillsboro 4. Ravenwood 5. Brentwood 6. Independence 7. Overton 8. Hillwood Franklin by far has the most talent in this district with Michael Young, Jamual Starnes, and Kevin Kegarise leading the way (Note: oh and almost all of these starters are juniors-they will be even better next year). Centennial will be a tough team to contend with because of Drew Kelly and his size. They have some decent guards but not much else. Hillsboro is a surprise here but they will out athleticize all of the teams in this district. Watch out for the Burros. Ravenwood will be a little above average in this district and i could see them contending at the end. Brentwood is out of luck because their best player: Josh Tidwell is home-schooling. Kyle Tycheman should be a scoring machine for the Bruins though. Independence i believe is the most overrated team in this district coming into the year. Isaac Baugh is the only senior player and after that no one on the team played more than 5 minutes in a game last year. Indy looks for a disappointing year. Overton is a team i don't know much about and that is why they are ranked 7 in the district because they just do not have the talent. Last but not least are the Hillwood Hilltoppers are we all know why they are last and they will be for the next 25 years, unless they pull out one of their 7 footers like they did a couple of years ago...haha NOT!

Franklin @ Hillsobro will be the #1 game in middle tennessee to go and watch. With Hillsboro's great athleticism and franklin's unstoppable defense, this should be an intense game. i'm still undecided on the winner

Franklin-@McCallie Brentwood-@Franklin these should be two great games especially with Franklin's outstanding defense. still wanting to see how offense will compare

franklin should be back next year with them losing only 2 starters and have all their starting pitchers returning. plus joseph will be a senior next year meaning this should be his big year with more than his 14 home run season this year. watch out for franklin in state again for AAA
