In tonights finals the Sycamre girls lost to Mt. Juliet. Coach Johnson had them ready to play. The sycamore girls were off all night. They never really found their groove. Tonights game meant sycamore and mt juliet split this year, 2-2. Each with a season win, Sycamore with an area win and mt juliet with the sectional win. Congrats to both.

I think Sycamore fans just wanted to play someone new.

I know, this is the first year I can remember it happening. I am not sure if there was a reason or not. I expect it to be fixed next year.

No, I am saying it is a TSSAA rule that all middle school games are to be concluded before the start of district tournaments in high school. That is the main reason there is not an official middle school state tournament. If they had a state tournament they'd have to limit teams to like 12 games in the season to fix everything in. Sectionals were supposed to end last saturday before high school tournaments got under way this week. I didnt mean be glad the TSSAA let the middle schools play on monday, more meaning be glad they didnt cancel the sectionals all together and everyone's year end after the areas. Anyway good luck to what ever team you are for. =) I know how you feel though, Sycamores girls were supposed to play at 11 and the boys championship at 1230. I understand what you are saying about the schedule. That is weird they are playing championships before consolation games. I dont even see the need to have a consolation game. They mid tenn. large sectional isnt.

Just be glad the state is letting them play. TSSAA could have easliy canceled sectionals since they weren't concluded before high school districts strat. With that being said i would imagine it is because the high school teams and that area have games monday night.

The Championship games are now monday at 6 and boys after. Snow delay =p

Ah, well I'd say you'd have a decent shot at harpeth. They are so up and down. It just depends on which harpeth team shows up. How did you guys do containing #30 and #32?

Mt. Juliet in the first game of the season. That broke their 24 game winning streak. Leaving them 42-1 the past 2 years. Since then they've beaten Mt. Juliet by 16 and 9.

Out of the 9 that play on a game to game basis it is split up to five 8th graders and four 7th graders.
