I know that the teams in 10AAA have had some HOF games does any one have any results . I saw the post about Rossview and the one about Henry co. What about Kenwood, Clarksville, NE, NWHS? How are these teams looking?

Today's Leaf Chronicle. Named several players to watch from the Clarksville Area As tops in the district. Bashaara Graves ( CHS freshman) Kamiko Williams( NEHS Senior) , Several from Rossview and Kenwood,

Based on some of the results I read about from the summer camps the freshmen from CHS were able to hold thier own. It was a suprise to alot of people that they beat Wilson Central. So I don't really think the transition from middle school to high school is going to be too big of an issue. I'm looking forward to this season.

I agree that Clarksville will be a strong contender this year as well. I think its a toss up with Northeast. They have some very good returning players that don't get as much recognition as the Williams girl. Kenwood will be up there as well. There won't be too many blowouts this year I know that for sure. Just really good Games to the end.

Does anyone have scores for the shelbyville camp yesterday?

I had to look back in one of my other post to make sure I'm spelling her name right, Bashaara Graves from Clarksville. 6'2 freshman that can handle the ball,as well as post up. I asked about her once before in the middle school post and actually got to see her play. The biggest thing that I??™ve noticed about her is she is very unselfish. When I saw her she could have easily scored 40-50 points on her own but she would pass the ball out just as easily. She's going to be a big asset to her high school team

I know it was mentioned earlier, but does anyone have any updates fromt the lipscomb camp this week?

Did anyone notice any stand outs this past weekend? # 12 on Tn extreme 10u. ( I thnk it was purple and white) Was the smallest player on the floor but hussled like she was 6 foot.

Boy was this one off the mark. Congrats to all the teams that are going to Nationals. Out of the 8 teams, Isn't all but one team going to nationals this year?

How many teams already have bids to nationals? Team Pride, Bobcats I know for sure. Do any of the others?

How long do you have to add players? If you have not qualified for nationals through an SRT can you still add players up until state or if you have qualified for state do you have to wait until after to add players?

This summer my daughter went to a showcase in Murfreesboro and I saw this 6'1 girl handling the ball like a gaurd. Was told she went to Richview Middle school and was being looked at by UT and some other schools. When I saw Richview was playing in the TNT tournament I wondered if that same girl was playing. Last name is Gray or Graves can't remember exactly.

I've heard that there is an 8th grader from one of the teams participating that is already being looked at by UT. Is that correct?

There are several good teams in that area. Clarksville Lady Shox, About an hour north of Nashville (no web site available at this time) They have some very good players, Have gone to Nationals all 3 years they have been together and should be the host team for the 2008 nationals. Tn Team Pride, Smyrna Have very talented players also, Ages 9u-16u, have been ranked the number one club in the nation. It just depends on exactly what you are looking for, for your daughter. Tryouts are usually posted on here for teams. There are more but those 2 stand out in this area.

I agree. It's like they never happened. There are maybe 3 different topics about the DII state and no one is posting about the 13U. The closest we've gotten is that Memphis Elite won (congratulations BTW). Can we get more info, please?

How did everyone do in the 13U age group. What were the scores?

What happend to the Nike tournament in Murfreesboro this past weekend? I thought that the Trotters wuld be there.

In the 13 U division, there should be some really good games. The Southern Starz shootout this past week was a good preview of the state tournaments. 4 of the state qualifying teams (Bobcats, Shox, Team Pride, and Trotters) played, with 3 of those 4 making it to the final 4.

Well for 2 years my daughter played up. When she was 8 she played 11U and when she was 9 she played 14U(Not the average size 9 yr old I must add). The team she played on was not very good at all, but she did get a little time on the court to play against teams that were stronger. For the last 3 years she has played with her own age with a different team and coach (still the youngest of the bunch) but is one of the most dominate players in the age group as a whole. As well, her team itself is a lot better not only due to her. In her case it was very good to play up.

Does anyone know if all of the games going to be played in Shelbyville or spread out to Murfreesboro as well?

Does anyone know where and when the D2 state tournaments will be held this year? Is it the same location as the D1?

Any of the games that were played against the 13U Trotters. Maybe I shouldn't have said "host" team.

Did anyone else that play the "host" team notice that the Refs were on thier side this weekend
