zion vs. ca, one of the best rivalries in middle tenn. and should be even better this year after all the sucker hits during the battle on the grid iron last novermber. zions got alot of skill on the offensive side of the field this year despite loosing 13 seniors. tom young continues to prove hes one of the best offensive forces in the area and the fab. freshman goal keeper joe kruckeberg's skills are unmached for his age. zions only real problem is their lack of experience on the deffensive side of the ball, and ironicly c.a.'s strength seems to be on the offensive. this match proves to be the highlight of the season. my prediction, zion wins it 3-2

zion will beat c.a. these next years. zion is returning every single specialty player next year. all of our seniors either played on the line or where hurt most of the year. also, only one of their returning specialty players is going to be a senior. daniel pugh and all his receivers return and will definatly be a force with our offence. our running back was only a freshmen last year and is very promising as well.

zions a very young team, 1 sen. 1 jr. 4 soph. and 6 fresh. even if they dont do so well this year their definatly condenders for the next couple of years. they have a couple of good freshmen, namely their starting center whos 6'5'', and also have a couple of great perimeter sophmores.so be looking for zion in the future...wether they'll be good enough for state this year is still questionable. even if they dont start out well, its february that matters

after being beat by CA every year since the rivalry's start, zions anxious to win one and this one looks to be up for grabs... any opinions?

10 OUT OF 11 GUYS!!! are you kidding me cvilledawg08?? that means all of yalls players on d INCLUDING the d-line run 4.9's or less. yeah right!... either your just maken this up and dont know or the guy timeing you all was really trigger happy because i personaly watched yall play against C.A. and against MTP and i saw abosulutly no speed from all of you all with the exeption of 3 or 4. and yes zion does have some speed at wide out and i can assure you that their Wahlman really does run a 4.7...i know thats not marco daily fast, but it gets the job done. this will be wahlmans first game of the season after getting hurt in the fist week.

zion travels to cornersville friday night. i think zions got this one. zions program has really improved since last year, espesially their passing game...pugh stands tall in the pocket and his line isnt doing a bad job of giving him time to find the open man. cornersville dosnt have much speed and i think zions wide outs will take advantage of that. my prediction, zion 21-cornersville 14.

if we came that close to beating them last year and only lost 2 seniors in the process... it think our chances our a little higher, whats in matter if your last or second to last any way....either way your obviously not doin well

CA hasnt been fighting for a 3 or 4 spot since yall had that really good running back a couple years ago, and CA has atleast doubled the enrolment zion has...zion has around 150 in the 9th-12th grades

whats wrong with zion at 7th...if we had had more players last year we would have beatin cornersville, it was 0-0 goin into the 4th quarter then they put in a whole new team and took advantage of our numbers...i think well atleast be 8th next year(i know thats not sayin much, but its beter than our previous years)

ca won 3-0, but zion had some amazing defence in the first half... in the last 2 min.
