we are the only school around to let recruited kids play two or more sports. i mean he could've gone anywhwere but no one else allows duel sport recruits so MHS won out

Gotta feel for the PK for WB I hated to see the game end the way it did. the Whitehead kid for WB is a weapon best HS punter i've ever seen in person. they fly to the ball on defense and run the offense pretty well also. this is definatley the best MHS defense has playedthis year. I will be very surprised if blount county dosen't have 3 teams representing them in the boro in dec.also props to the Cope kid from WB Fantastic athlete and played his guts out all night. the only thing i would do different if i was coaching WB is get the ball in walkers hands about 20-30 times a game hes a train on that read option. gutsy performance by Douglas and shiver they were not 100% but played through the pain. overall best game i've seen in years from both sides.

My rebels are a good football team,I don't know about "down" but i don't think they are as good as they have been in the past. gone from last year are two great LBs and two great RBs where is MHS struggling this year?LB&RB if they fall tonight it will be to a good WB football team and WB should be very proud. maybe 7 miles from WB to Alcoa or from Alcoa to MHS or from MHS to WB. yes heritage is another 5a school on the north end of the county. I think both MHS & AHS take tuition students and WB & Heritage are zoned however if you live inside the city limits of either Alcoa or Maryville you can choose to attend a county school if you want to.

I think you hit the nail onthe head the longer they hang around the more they believe they can win, but that goes for abuout any game of this magnitude. If MHS strikes first and then holds them I'm like you I think WB will have a tough time staying in it. GQ has a history of taking opponents out of the game Quick and I'd bet you a dollar to a doughnut that he'll trick 'em within the first half to try and deflate their baloon. this game has a similar feel to the Red Bank game last year.

For a while because of the name I thought redandblack63 was a Maryville fan then after reading this post I realized you couldn't be then it hit me you are a bitter Central fan ,of course it would be hard not to be bitter after years of getting out coached when you had the better athletes and a 17 point half time lead then just getting your heinies spanked the last few times what i can't figure is how you can make an idiotic statement like "a school misrepresenting their enrollment so they don't have to move up to the right classifcation", and actually believe a school could do this if they wanted to. bottom line is your either a moron or your just on here to stir the pot!!! by the way GQ has way to much class to hang 63 on anybody
