  1. I can handle the "emo" hair style. Just please do not wear those tight girls jeans, that would scare everyone.
  2. Just to let everyone know Mickey is a little down and out right now. An incident with a ladder has left him with 2 broken bones in his back and staples in his head. He will be out for a while and could use your prayers, but obviously has his computer near him and a good sense of humor. I personally think he was just trying to get out of our two home games this week jk. Now back to Akula's new hair do...or hair don't you be the judge!
  3. hey bean when will the schedule be out?
  4. Is just getting to the game what you strive for or winning it?
  5. Wondering when the West Jamboree Schedule will be out?
  6. I would be willing to bet that Catholic could make it to the finals in the AAA tournament and probably win oh and I would also say that CAK doesn't make it to the finals if teams stop Tarr, but good luck trying he is the only reason they one the last two games they won but no six peat people STOP TARR!
  7. the weakest region in AAA come on can't get past the big two CAK and Catholic, but good luck trying I wish you all the best
  8. Seymour defeated Carter 4-3 playing the last 33 minutes a man down. Seymour was up 3-1 at half Sherrod on a breakaway 1v1 with keeper and got taken down not dirty, but still deserving. Carter tied it up 3-3 with 11 minutes to go and Seymour managed to put one away with less than 2 on the clock. Mark Sherrod what do you say what a player and class act what he brings to the table is more than just soccer he is a great character kid. I would take him over any player in knoxville hands down Tarr, Webster, Schoenfield, Mckoy all division one recruits and this kid brings just that something to the table that is special and he is a leader and has been since he was a freshman without him it would be Carter who?
  9. i think that DB has a good chance to make it to state this year despite the many injuries they have faced
  10. Any other predictions on this one?
  11. seymour 1 dobyns bennett 2 Good game hard fought, but in the end DB was just to deep lost in the last two minutes great game though
  12. The tournament was called due to weather maybe next year.
  13. Last year Sevier county beat Maryville in the district tournament. In all honesty the game was a bit sloppy, but emotions were high and both teams got a bit mouthy and tempers flared ( just a normal rivalry game ), but both teams had a chance to win just ended in a tie for the fourth year in a row.
  14. I checked that out how awesome is that. How user friendly is it. Do you keep the stats, or players or coaches? Is it worth the money?
  15. the only thing out of control was the mouths of the farragut players the sevier county boys played hard and there were some hard fouls but you play them every year and you know they are less skiled and it is going to happen when you don't have a soccer coach at your school but the farragut boys being defending state champs you would figure would represent themselves, their school, and family better than they did last night just shut up and play boys you all are good but last night was just a shame if i was their coach i would run them till they couldn't talk anymore
  16. well i for one think that Alcoa is better than South Doyle this year and if Alcoa lost 8-0 then for sure Bearden will beat them worse than that but i wish South Doyle the best of luck.
  17. If its not football it is baseball or basketball At the school i went to the basketball and soccer teams got the same amount of scholarship money lets see here basketball 8 full scholarships and soccer 8 full scholarships basketball 12 people tops needed and soccer 18-24 and most of the soccer scholarships went to the internationals unless you were a special american highly recruited by the coach we as a soccer family just have to accept that soccer is on the bottom of the food chain but we are above hockey and keep striving to educate people about the game both players and parents
  18. 1. Bearden 2. Farragut 3. West 4. Catholic 5. Oakridge 6. Powell 7. Sevier County 8. Maryville 9. CAK 10. Alcoa

  21. I think the top 5 (private) teams in A/AA could compete fairly well in AAA, but beyond that I don't think the others would do as well. You will find most state champion soccer teams are filled with club players (in A/AA and AAA). Look at Farragut. I believe their starting line up was 100% club players. In soccer I don't think it is just a public private issue, but a club non club issue. I just think it is harder for the more rural public schools in A/AA to get a club program going, or have to face travel to get to one. i think the privates have an unfair advantage for example last year CAK had the boys from jackson transfer to CAK whether you admit it or not they came more than halfway across the state to play soccer at CAK not for a better education not cause there parents transferred jobs (even though they ended up doing so) but becuase CAK is the State power in A/AA soccer I also know that during the club season that CAK tries to flirt with some of the knox areas best soccer players and get them to come to CAK and most of the time this happens at the middle school level but a few occasions have occurred on the highschool level but this is a level playing field i think these private schools that exists primarily for athletics has missed the bus on what they exist for and ultimately i think any private school that is made up of 50% athletes should be forced to compete in AAA in the small sports and in football i think the multiplier should stay the same if not be bumped up a little bit
