Creek Wood only has 1 game this week. Cheatham at C.W. Central is definitely the most improved team in the district. Not just because they almost beat Creek Wood. They really have some players. Anyone who overlooks them will get beat. There bench is not very deep, but there starting 5 can play. They play well as a team and they play hard the whole game.

Central played a very good game and led most of the way. C.W. led 51-46 with under a minute. Daniels hit 2 free throws for central with 18 seconds left and C.w. tried to get the ball across half court and called a timeout with 8 seconds left and a 51-48 lead. Trevor Moore stole the inbounds pass and got the ball to Mills who hit a 3 to tie the game and send it into O.T. C.W. got 2 big dunks in O.T. from Dotson and held on to escape with a win. Aaron Hyndman led C.W. with 23.

uspatriot creek wood beat sycamore 2 out of 3 times this year and the 1 loss was by 2 points at sycamore. So if they had a better team they did not show it. No disrespect to sycamore. no excuses against bolivar. CW got beat start to finish and never really threatened. CW had an off night shooting, but as usual when that happens it had a lot to do with the bolivar defense.

C.W. has been overlooked all year as far as the top is considered. Because until this year they have never won a regional game. Bolivar is tremendous. CW is playing well right now and has a better chance than anyone else from our district to beat Bolivar since they are the only one left. The thing about CW is they have a different player step up every game, in order to beat Bolivar EVERYONE has to step up. Until this year cw has never won a regional game, never played in a sectional game, never beat Bolivar. Never say Never.

Congrats to NCS. A small school plays other small schools and they are ranked in class A. Not AA or AAA. The Coach is a legend and is deserving. I have seen NCS play several times over the last 3 years. They take advantage of the three point shot as well as anyone I have seen in class A. The 3 is why mid majors pull off upsets in March Madness. To play that many games and have only 1 loss is impressive.

Creek Wood sophomore Justin Walton lost his mother Sunday and the funeral is today. Last night at CW Justin got to the JV game late because he was at the funeral home. When he arrived every player gave him a hug and he played incredible, scoring 30. He also lit it up in the Varsity game scoring 21 on 6 three pointers and an and 1. While last night was a great night today he will bury his Mother please keep him and his family in your prayers.
