The football program will never be dropped. Basketball has been and always will be the big sport in Woodbury but that's the fault of no one just the dynamics. Football does not need to worry about going toe to toe with basketball but make and create there own image

Congrats to Livingston Academy for there win, and also to Grundy County for playing a well-fought game. But, MTNMAN 80 before you get on here about officals like you laways do when you guys come play District 8-AA, please be wise and know, that when you get to the Region the officals are sent from another area of the state. Therefore there is no possible way that any team in the Upper Cumberland area has any officals in there back pocket. Good luck to both teams Sat!!!!

I agree gc pioneer and I am throwing the soph abbey sissom as the third. Watched her at state tourney last year and seen her some this year very good player.

Going to be very interesting this year, Livingston and Upperman have ruled this thing since Jackson County left, Cannon County should be good again, and better watch for York, they may surprise a lot of people this year. If the Lady Tigers can find a pt guard they will be tough to work with also with Webb back, but we will see only a couple of months away

Oh Kitty Kitty, I love Dc basketball just as much as you i am sure just I dont get radio and court side seats. But to say Coach Cope is district coach of the year, is a little ealry, they have only won one district game and have struggled in others. Yes they are getting better but the real caoch of the year is the person who gave us this great schedule of non-district games this season. Yes the lady tigers are better but I am not just sold on this deal yet, only time will tell.

What does everyone think about this Friday's upcoming games: Game of the Night I would think: Cannon County at Livingston Dekalb County at York Smith County at Cumberland County

Forrest and Cannon County will be a good game, both teams are playing well. I will give the edge to Forrest right now by 9.

I agree with the last two posts: Livingston will win handily vs York 25 + at least Smith County and Trousdale will be a close game, SC by 5 Upperman will name the score vs Dekalb. Dekalb is improved but not that improved yet.

Gerry one more queston about the Owls of Smith County: What would happen to them in the Quad if they go and lose to York on Friday how would that shake it up?

Okay Gerry have a case for you: What will happen if Livingston academy in 4A beats Dekalb County in 4A, which then would have Cannon County win the district over Smith County what would that do to that Quad? By the way this is a terrible mess and T$$AA really has no clue on what to do!!!!

Yes I agree there also, but if this is the case why even play league games just schedule 10 games against anyone and just play. If you are going to have districts and so forth that should come into play a little, it is not just here but in 6A and 5A it will also happen that a team that has beaten teams in there own league will possible recieve lower seeds than those teams.

Good work on the quads: But here is a major problem and for this reason I dont see this plan working very long. You have teams such as Cannon County and others who will have beaten teams in there league and still have lower seeds. Under any other year the would host the first two rounds by virtue of beating a Smith County team, this is a problem. I agree with teh alcoa fan if this was the bracket which you never know with TSSAA there are great match-ups in the 1st round
