Westview has a very good team, they are just young and when you start losing it is hard to turn it around quickly. Good things are down the road for the Chargers, starting this week. I have never seen Goff or Coleman play so I don't know how good they are. How do you know how good Jordan Yeley is? Have you been going to Dresden games? If not, then how do you compare them?

Dresden had 2 turnovers and Trenton had one. Dresden also had a punt blocked and missed a fieldgoal. It was a pretty even game. I would have to say that the better team won but Trenton gave their self a chance at the end. Dresden held them twice in the 4th inside the 10.

Rumor has it SFFAN, that Dresden and Bruceton are so scared of SF that they are going to just forfeit their games to them. Why show up and get humiliated.

Maybe the teams they have played are not the best in West TN, but they are both at least 21 points better than South Fulton. Humboldt is a very good 2a team that could dismantle South Fulton by whatever score they wanted. They are not the struggling 1a schools that you have played.

Yeah South Fulton plays a much harder schedule than Dresden.

This is a game that Dresden nearly let slip away. They gave leads of 14-0 and 21-6 away by turning the ball over. The Defense played really well, giving up one drive of any length and on of 20 yards after a fumble and the other score came on an interception return. The Lions dominated the line of scrimmage with Jordan Yeley rushing for around 300 yards.

I don't know if Gibson is in the I, but I have seen Dresden spending a lot of time in the spread offense this fall, not in their scrimmages but saving it for games. I think Dresden wins the game.

You both made excellent points. Defense was the key to the game on one end and post play on the other. The Shane kid from Greenfield gave out lessons in the post tonight. I think he had 32 and all of them were layups after posting number 40 or 44 on the block. The most fundamental team won tonight even though they did miss a lot of free throws in the 4th.

Do you really think Dresden's girls were selecting the music. It was the same person who selected "Who Let The Dog's Out" when Gleason came out to warm ups. Why would you even try to put a damper on a very good game. Dresden deserved to celebrate, let them have fun, they are kids. Do I sense jealousy?

Gleason does deserve credit. They will only get better, but they will have to if they want to keep up. Dresden only has one senior also.

Dresden wins!!!!! The crowd for Dresden was just as good as the crowd from Gleason(Their's was also great). It helped that Gleason only led two times by a single point. Good game by both teams and congratulations on a good season Gleason. For Dresden, survive and advance.

It will only be an upset if anybody plays Mitchell a good game in single a. I have seen Adamsville this year and Temple at the state last year and neither has close to the talent of Memphis Mitchell. But then they should have because they have an enrollment of about 1100, or so I have heard.

Dresden and Gleason went to overtime in the District, it could be another classic if both teams keep playing as well as they did last night. I agree with Greenfieldfan, if either team plays like last night, they can give Trenton all they want.

A very good assessment of the game. both games tonight at Dresden were pretty bad thumpings. Bradford and Lake county had no answers tonight for Gleason and Dresden.

It is not just a posibility. Meredith is the best offensive player in Northwest Tennessee, by far.
