Watched it on TV it was a great game! Go Vandy! Goodpasture Vs USJ for the championship, was the best game to me.

Alright, I see what you mean...however I think this is one of the reasons USJ plays a lot of AAA school during the season. They see better pitching and prepare for what might come...that doesn't mean they can't get beat...it just means they prepare for worse case scenario..Everyone always comes gunning for us and brings their best, it never fails....For the most part we have just had the experience to step up....By the way who did LV beat to get out of thier district, region, and sectional?

I don't know that it would be that good....Our boys were spent...they put it all out there...I know Gant's arm had to be a noodle, even his mother wondered how he would get a ball into the infield from left when he had to go out there...sure our guys would get another shot, but.....I just don't know what kind of games those 2nd and 3rd would be......adrenlin can only get you so far, at some point you must come down.

It's just my opinion...but I thought the AA Championship game was about as exciting as you could get...Low scoring, extra innings, great fielding by both teams.....what more do you want?

I'm sorry I don't agree...I think we saw the 2 best teams in AA! Early in the season it was said these two would meet in the State Championship game....

One local paper did so much homework for their job that USJ's tennis team won the Championship and the paper put a picture of a player who graduated last year....obviously he no longer plays.....UNBELIEVABLE!

DII that you are referring to is for those school who give financial support to athletes (scholarships if you will). USJ does not do that, they elected not to and stay in this bracket.

Gant only pitched 3 innings the first game then 7 the second for a total of 10 for the day, nothing to fuss about except they got beat by a great pitcher who was on top of his game tonight!

Wait a minute, I agree there is a little about USJ in the Jackson Sun but not a lot. I don't understand why they didn't do a big section over all of the local schools before the seasons began like they always do for the football teams. Out of all of the weeks we have been playing there have maybe been 5 or 6 articles....I'm not saying JCS has gotten more or less I don't think they have covered any of them fairly!!!

Has anyone figured out who will get the start today for either team?

How is the pitching for Gibbs?...is it similar to MC?....any thoughts on this game?....What about other games taking place today...
