THIS POST IS FOR THE FORREST LADY ROCKETS SOFTBALL TEAM, COACHES AND EVER FAITHFUL FANS; I AS A PARENT OF SENIOR RACHEL CURTIS WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAS COME INTO CONTACT OR BEEN PART OF OUR DAUGHTER HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT RIDE AND WE HAVE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. IT TAKES MORE THAN PARENTS TO RAISE A CHILD AND IT TAKE MORE THAN TALENT SOMETIMES TO BE A GOOD ATHLETE. WE ARE VERY BLESSED IN CHAPEL HILL TENNESSEE WE HAVE IT ALL! WE HAVE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN THAT DO NOT EVEN HAVE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN PLAYING SPORTS IN CHAPEL HILL BUT THEY ALWAYS SUPPORT OUR KIDS FROM FOOTBALL ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO SOFTBALL. I AM SO PROUD OF ALL OUR GIRLS, NO BODY GAVE THEM A CHANCE THIS YEAR AFTER WE LOST SOME MANY SENIORS LAST YEAR, BUT THEY ALL CAME TOGETHER AND TOOK US AS FAR AS THEY COULD. IT WAS A CHAMPIONSHIP AS SUCH BUT IT WAS PRETTY DANG CLOSE. TO THE GIRLS LEFT WE EXPECT THE SAME HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION AS ALWAYS JUST REMEMBER TO PUT YOU HEART IN IT AND YOU WILL ALL BE FINE. TO SHELBY WE WISH YOU ONLY THE BEST AT MTSU AND IN WHAT EVER YOU DO IN LIFE. TO THE COACHES AND FACUTLY AT FORREST HIGH SCHOOL WHAT CAN WE SAY YOUR KNOW YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO RACHEL CLAIRE CURTIS, WE LOVE YOU AND HAVE NEVER BEEN PROUDER OF YOU THAN TODAY. I WE KNOW THAT YOU WILL GIVE A 100% AT WHATEVER YOU DO IN LIFE. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD. you know it is a sad day when adults get on this post and ruin it for all the softball girls, coaches.parents and fan of each of the teams represented in the state of tennessee that have all worked hard all season long just to get to district, region, substate and state play offs. we all should be supporting our teams instead of trash talking everyone. it is an honor to get just get to the state playoffs, don't ruin it for the ones that make it. go to the games and watch and support your team,but always remember there is 1 winner and 1 loser in every game,that's why we play, remember that every young lady out there is someone's daughter, sister, granddaughter,etc. be proud of your team and cheer them on to a victory. just because the other fans or just people at the games who don't even have anyone there are acting stupid that doesn't mean you have to act like them. remember there are always younger girls always looking and watching what you are doing. we should be setting good examples so that they don't act like the people that you are all talking about. remember FORREST ALUMNI - CLASS -PRIDE AND TRADITION. thank you to the best fans in the state of tennessee. the forrest lady rockets had a standing room only fan base every game of the spring fling tournament in murfreesboro this last week. if you don't think that that pumps up your team and gives them an edge that no training or coaching can give. not to take anything away from our girls hard work and our coaching staff, but it gives them HEART and determination. we've had to WORK for everything we've got this year and it paid off. we have the best catcher in the state GABBY BUSSELL and the best pitcher in the state SHELBY STINNETT and the best first baseman BRIE ELMORE and the best second baseman BEQUIE BUSSELL and the best short stop HEATHER JAMES and the best thrid baseman RACHEL CURTIS and the best left fielder KARA GARAFINE/SUMMER WAGGONER and the best centerfielder HALEY MATHIS and the best right fielder AMANDA DAUGHRITY and the best flex player CHELSEA JOHNSON and on the reserve we have ASHLEY SCALES,JESSICA HUNT,CHELSEA BOWMAN, MEAGAN GOWER, CAITLYN ROTCHFORD.thanks for the wonderful ride. rest up and we'll be there for you next year when we all travel back to the boro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been reading the post on what player is the best at what postion and what team they play for and it has occured to me that no one person came make or break a TEAM. it take' nine players to field a team to play the game of softball. in any givn game a player can have a bad game but if she plays as a team player and her team plays team softball they will pick each other up at the appropriate time. a great pithcer also needs a great catcher and a great in field and a great outfield and then you got to have great bats,that's what make a TEAM. so to all the girls that has not been named to the outstanding post on coacht by the offical know it alls. YOU ARE IMPORTANT ALSO BECAUSE THEY CAN'T BE GREAT WITHOUT ALL OF THE TEAM ON THE FIELD. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT IT TAKE A TEAM TO WIN A SOFTBALL GAME. KEEP UP THE GREAT DEFENSE AND KEEP POUNDING THE YELLOW BALL. tuff luck lady rockets at er. keep your heads up and play your ball at ca and we'll bring home the win. i want to congratuate the lady rocket fans at er they showed class and good sportsmanship. our fans always support our girls with encouragement. there is no place in high school sports for negative sportsmanship. good luck and bring it home.

congratulations to the lady rockets of forrest. you all have been doing a great job all season. looks like you have come together as a team and are playing team ball. don't stop what your doing. everybody keep on your toes. remember at the start of every season it is a goal or dream to go to state and WIN, keep in mind that dreams come true if you believe in yourselves. good luck in region play.
