Lefty- I have seen Bartlett play twice this season. That is where I got my info-by watching them play. All I am saying is that other elite teams have more athleticism than Bartlett, but Bartlett's good fundamentals and great coaching is what makes them the best team in the state as of right now. As far as I am concerned, these qualities should lead to a state tourney run for Bartlett. I gave them a compliment, so I do not quite understand your quote. I said nothing about their strength of schedule- I know who they played and haven't played- I keep up with high school baseball. You act like I am bashing them or something. Bartlett will not "wow" you with their talent and athleticism. But they are as sound fundamentally as any team that you will watch this year. Good coaching from also goes a long way. Good luck the rest of the season Bartlett.

JacketQB18, the guy is exactly right. Coalfield is a joke. Their ace pitcher throws 70 mph and weighs 100 lbs. Name one player on the team that plays travel baseball in the summer. But I guess everyone should leave Coalfield alone- they do not seem to want to hear the truth from anyone.

I believe your ideas have been clouded a bit by Ms. Cleo aka WaJaCo. The so-called #6 team in the nation came down to the Sportsbelle and lost twice. By the way, the loss to WB was not a fluke. WB was really hot that week- they beat Anderson Co. and South Doyle (two of the top teams in the state). And I know you are not talking about Science Hill- they came down to the Sportsbelle and overall got dominated- plain and simple. And don't forget about last year... and the year before... and the year before... and the year before... and the year before... Anyone can say anything they want, but this year PF is down because the lost one of the best players in the state last year, Tyler Cannon(Virginia)- that kid was a stud. And yeah you all are not really competing this year.

This really should not be much of a forum at all because Anderson County will run away with the district easily. Everyone else is sadly just fighting to be first loser.
