  1. First place in Region 6 District 11 will be decided on Friday, April 27th. Middle Tennesee Christian School (9-1-0, 4-1-0) plays host to Spring Hill (6-3-1, 4-0-1) at 6:00 pm. Good luck to both teams as they vie for the coveted "bye" spot in their district tournament.
  2. The Spring Hill / Columbia Academy match was played with three referees. And I thought they did a good job -- I do remember seeing one offsides call in which I thought Spring Hill was way on, but that in no way cost anyone the game.
  3. anyone got a score on page / marshall co. (4/20)?
  4. Middle Tennessee Christian School of Murfreesboro is also undefeated (9-0-0) but we haven't reached double digit wins yet. We hope to do so this week.
  5. i'm definitely going to watch CPA vs. Columbia Academy.
  6. I was wondering about high school games in Tennessee. The other night my guys came back from 4-0 (with 32 minutes left in the second half) to win 6-4 in regulation. I thought it was pretty incredible, but I'm obviously biased. They came out both flat and slow and had a horrible first half (3-0), but never got down on themselves. They controlled the ball in the second and looked really good. Of course it didn't hurt that the other team gave us two pk's out of frustration...
  7. A coin toss? You guys don't go to goal differential against highest seeded team, etc...?

    Comeback

What's the furthest behind from which you've seen a team comeback to win? Do you guys know any records on that sort of thing?
  9. Anyone have any information on this tournament (that I believe is at Union University)? Game times, etc?
  10. Middle Tennessee Christian School, Murfreesboro Goals: Dylan Hagewood 12 Clayton Mitchell 11 Assists: Jonathan Sims 8 Dylan Hagewood 5 Clayton Mitchell 5 Justin Sims 4 Shutouts: Leif Kixmiller 3 (9 goals allowed, 54 saves)
  11. Probably at the end of regulation each team should pull one player off the field every 3 minutes until the game has been decided. Or at the end of 80 minutes (h.s.), we could replace the regulation-size goals with goals that are 50% larger. Or we could allow coaches and school administrators who are present to participate during overtime play.... I think ties are fine. Two soccer teams who have played to even at the end of 80 minutes should record a tie, unless a winner is necessary to determine the advancing team.
  12. Later this week is the Tournament of Champions (with teams like Hume-Fogg, USJ, and Cheatham Co?) -- does this take place at McGavock? Does anyone have a list of teams playing and match times, etc?
  13. anyone know the score on marshall co / forrest last night (4-12)?
  14. is the home school team you're referring to the 'middle tennessee fire?' what do we know about them? i don't see them on spring hill's schedule on coacht...
