  2. What happened to Hawthorne of Ravenwood at 215? He has been ranked all year also.
  3. Heavyweight should be wide open this year. With Benson being beaten by Seely this week, seems like he might not be the guy to beat. Yunis of Rossview is undefeated this year, and has beaten Smith. He hasn't wrestled Benson, Seely, or Chapman, but he did beat Maxwell of Briarcrest, and Hines of Cleveland. Yunis is training hard, and might be the heavyweight to beat.
  4. This was a very well run tournament! Congrats to Hendersonville! Here are some results. I missed a few. 103- Tate Dalrimple (Bolton) dec. Donovan Roberts (NW) 9-1 112- Kendall Kermick (Germantown) dec. Dylan Treloar (Hend) 119- Tanner Bates (MtJ) pinned Bobby Wells (NW) 125- Dandre Morrison (NW) dec. Eric Oliver (Germantown) best match 130- Scott Seaman (MtJ)tech fall Jeff Baker (NW) 135- Patrick DeMilia (Rossview) dec. Aaron Wirthwein (Knox Cath)9-7 140- Joe Johnson (Hend) vs. Jimmy Bosanko (NW) didn't see this one 145- Josue Brown (HL) dec. Matt Seaman (MtJ) Josue was co best wrestler with someone else but can't remember 152- David McKeel (Hend) over Alonzo Arnett (West Creek) 160- Alex Charest (MtJ) vs. Greg Cross (Hend) didn't see this one 171- Chad Jordan (Hopkinsville) over Austin Holtgraewe (Leb) 189- Blake Biggs (MtJ) dec. Zach North (Rossview) 215- Tyler Todd (Rossview) pinned Cain Sloan (Leb) 285- Yusuf Yunis (Rossview) pinned Jeffrey Grandin (West Creek)
  5. Rossview is also willing to travel on January 18th for a tri or a quad if anyone has any openings in the Nashville area. Please contact Coach Pat Sanders at (931) 249-2037 or coachpat_rhs@live.com
  6. Rossview (which is in Clarksville) is looking for another team to come to us for a tri on January 20th. We had a team back out of our tri with Kenwood. That is our senior night and we would really like a team to come and wrestle us. Please contact Coach Pat Sanders at (931) 249-2037 or coachpat_rhs@live.com Thanks!
  7. 189 1. Rakim Talley Dickson County 2. Darius Childs West Creek 3. Zach North Rossview 4. Cole Mensing Montgomery Central 215 1. Tyler Todd Rossview 2. Grady Chapman Cheatham County 3. Bruno Reagan Clarksville 4. Coty Hollis Dickson HWT 1. Yusuf Yunis Rossview 2. Taylor Podony Beech 3. Michael Knupp Dickson County 4. Jeffery Grandin West Creek
  8. 215- Amos Mason (Brentwood Academy) pinned Seth Snyder (Cleveland) 152- I think Matt Price (Montgomery Central) won this one.
  9. Tucker Bolton from Bradley Central made the 6A team. John Mackey of Baylor made the D2-AA team.
  10. I like the way WrestlingGod thinks he can determine what gets discussed on a discussion board. I've seen it numerous times where he tells everyone what can and cannot be discussed. Probably forfeiting a championship match at a tournament is worthy of discussion. It was at the tournament, so I am not quite sure why it isn't now. If the kid didn't want to wrestle because his coach was giving him a hard time, then so be it. It's not a huge deal. Cox is a very good wrestler and the Jordan/Cox match would've been a good one to watch.
  11. Heavyweight Yusuf Yunis of Rossview dec. Dylan Maxwell of Briarcrest (ranked No. 1, D2) 4-1 at the Franklin tournament, and pinned Chase Pennycuff of siegel in the finals. 189- Lamer's (St. Benedict) win over Caldwell (Antioch) at Franklin was a nice upset also
  12. I'm not a coach. But, I guess we will see. I would be very surprised if anyone beats Yunis this weekend.
  13. Zach North is Rossview's 189. He should give Caldwell a run for his money. Todd is wrestling 215 this year. He is a football player, and staying heavy to play football in college. Yunis won't be beat at Heavyweight.
  14. I've watched Dandre Morrison from Northwest wrestle at 130 at Slamfest and at a quad the week before. So, he is at 130, and looks strong and quick.
