On the aspect of being undefeated...3 years ago i think it was...Houston was 17-0-5 coming into that state tourny and played Hendersonville and lost 2-0. You could tell they began to freak out once they fell behind 1-0 and ultimately lost their composure with one of their players getting a Red for cussing out an official. On the other hand...last year you saw a Brentwood team go undefeated and received a tough challenge in an epic state championship against a 1 loss Houston team...and Brentwood remained undefeated and were crowned state champions... SO...this all depends on how a team handles the adversity of going down 1-0 to start a game or late in a game...i think ultimately Kingsbury will shock Cleveland 2-1 but Farragut will beat Brentwood in the state championship game 2-0

while i agree kingsbury could shock Cleveland....there is no way on this earth they could win state...they did well in a West region that is waaaaaay down this year...0 % chance kingsbury wins state

Bearden Brentwood KINGSBURY Farragut Brentwood Farragut with Farragut regaining the State Title back to the East Kingsbury seems like a scrappy team that could surprise Cleveland or Riverdale...lot of international talent on that team...but no one but CBHS can hang with Farragut now it seems its theirs to lose

Dont think you can really say Houston is a disappointment bc they lost 9 of their 11 starters last year and 13 seniors...Only had 3 guys that played major minutes last year that werent seniors and 1 was the goalie...they are a young team and will get back to where they are used to being in the next couple years

this is probably one of the DUMBEST things i have ever heard a coach do...he probably would have beat Houston anyways without the player because Houston is so young...hope TSSAA cracks hard on this coach

Think White Station out of Memphis should be higher...they only lost to CBHS 2-1 and fought tough and lost in the last 15 min...

CBHS 2 MUS 1 Paul 'Koolaid' Banks scored in 20th min on assist from JJ Greer. MUS scored in 69th minute and Greer responded with a header off a corner in the 73rd minute to win the game. Was extremely windy. CBHS outshot MUS 20-4 accordin to commercialappeal.com Looks like CBHS and MUS will be forces for sure in D2 MUS beat Houston 1-0 saturday.

It's a shame to see that the top 2 teams in AAA last year have fallen so far after such great seasons...

Dont think it has to do with the US organization...Most if not ALL countries are playing their qualifying matches today all around the world so its not just a US thing

by germantown do you mean Houston?

After having so many great seniors and so much talent last year evenly distributed with many great teams...who is the STANDOUT team this year...so far i dont really see one...out East bearden and farragut ofcourse will be considered but they both tied Hendersonville...In the middle Hendersonville looks mediocre, Brentwood and Indy look like they could do some damage which is shocking when you consider how much talent Brentwood lost last year...and out West who knows? Houston looks awful based on their results, Collierville doesnt seem strong based on their results, White Station looks to be the favorite to come out of the West and maybe this is Kingsburys year? Opinions?
