  1. Marshall showed out again Page last week, but Columbia is a different demon and they always give their "down-the-road" rival a heck of a game. Marshall 35 Columbia 31
  2. final score MC 54 PHS 30, MC's starters played 1 or 2 series in the 2nd, PHS starters playing into the 4th
  3. beginning of the 2nd, PHS deep pass INT'ed by #9 Chris Walker returned 63 yards to the PHS 2 yard line, TD run on the following play MC - 20 PHS - 10
  4. after Q1 MC 13 - PHS 10 PHS QB has looked impressive connecting on several deep throws, their run game thus far has been nearly nonexistant MC started off sloppy with a INT that lead to the PHS TD, but have gotten back on track with long TD drive as well as a 98 yrd kickoff return for a TD to end the quarter
  5. so who's this 350lb monster of a kid page has?? just curious, been a while since i've heared of a district/region rival having someone of that size. not since "tons of fun" from Creekwood back in 08-09ish...6'8 400lb or so
  6. in order for MC to win this, they HAVE to get off the field on Defense...Indy has too many playmakers to let them win the time of possession. i would like to see some long sustained drives by MC also to keep indy's offense off the field. and to the kids on MC's defense....WRAP UP THE BALL CARRIER
  7. word from a MCHS player about thier scrim. 1st team MC 5 Tull 4 2nd team MC 5 Tull 0 all i was told >.>
  8. seems like we've been saying this every year since Hightower and company graduated, MC has the athletes to play with anyone, but will this be the year they put 2 and 2 together??? Walker is a freak of an athlete, as is Howard. i believe they return one of their RBs from last year too, Baugh #2, runs like a battering ram. should have a very well balanced offense this year the defensive front return some starters, as well as some players who rotated in with the starters, combine that with the number of skilled players in the defensive backfield, and MC defense COULD be a force to reckon with. i want to see what kind of mentality OC plans on instilling into this young guys, i hope for alot more discipline and heart.
  9. yep my mistake T4L thank you for correcting that
  10. dont expect this one to be close after the 3rd...as much as i'd like to see the tigers win this...we're too inconsistent and too predictable which are 2 things you DONT want to be going against one of the top teams in the state. but i will do a lil searching on the bright side of things, IF (and this is a serious stretch here) IF we can keep it close deep into the 4th, we can definately keep it interesting. But again im a realist, so i'm saying 28-7 at the half, and a final score of 49-28 GC rooting for MC but still gotta know the difference in fantasy and reality
  11. grats to Cascade. we all knew they're a good team and should never be overlooked...and they got overlooked...tough loss for MC, lets hope to rebound next week.
  12. the outcomes of all of MC's games from here on out are going to depend on WHICH MC SHOWS UP. If we come in and play to our potential, it could be ugly by half time. BUT if the MC that showed up last week shows up tonight, dont be shocked if Cascade hangs around and makes a game out of it. this is a big game for MC getting a chance to go to 4-0 in the district bc we all know in this district, that single district loss can keep u out of the playoffs. SO my guess is if the good MC shows up 56-21 MC with most of the points by cascade against the reserves, if MC comes out slack, 24-21 MC with a field goal late in the fourth to seal it. But MC really needs to come out and make a statement imo.
  13. Shelbyville's return man, dont recall his name believe he is #6, is a phenomenal athlete. Calling him a burner may be an understatement. Watched him catch a punt that shoud've been fair-caught mid-spin move to get away from a defender.
