Congrat's to the Clinton Dragon Players!!!!

Why beg anyone to come back? I haven't heard Frazier's name all that much, is he really doing that much that he would need to be begged to come back? Again, while I have expressed my displeasure in the coaching, I hate that the players are having to endure such termoil. Even with a second win (and I hope the players get that)....Clinton has not seen the end to the rough times in football. I just don't see the reserection in the near future for the Dragon fans. Who quit? I really thought that the Dragons might be up for their second win.

I am not a fan of the coaches at Clinton, but I hope the players get something that they haven't in a long time and that is 2 wins in a row.

You just sound a little bitter. Haven't you been defending all that is great in Clinton including the athletic staff in general? As for Stone, he will have to keep running I don't see it being any different as far as the offensive line goes. Going back to Dye as QB and all those that followed have had to run for their lives every single game. I think that Stone will be no different, if he proves to be all that they have said he will have to move on to truly showcase his talent.

Sad to say but no different from the previous QB's at Clinton.....Running for their life....Best of luck Darian.

This is why you've always been the favorite...JK. It may seem less sincere or look as though I am just following suit. But would like to apologize to the players at Clinton if anything I have said has hurt anyone personally. There are much better ways to handle bad situations. I have taught my kids better as was I taught better as a child. Maybe the parents, coaches and administration should all retire to their rocking-chairs and let the kids run the program (YOUNG MEN). They seem to get along great and have wished each other well. While I apologize to the kids I do want to make clear that my opion and feelings with Andy and his staff have not changed and I will address this personally without posting any further negative post. Best of luck to the young men wearing the orange and black and to those who have made the choice to move on.

Clinton does...it's soo awesome that they haven't changed anything in what 50+ years...Oak Ridge is not bad. As for facilities in Anderson County, ACHS is pretty nice. Once again facilites the best is Clinton, a field house that has not been changed in about 2o+ years. Our stuff is so good we don't need to do any improvments.

You may or may not be right.....however, with major teams down this year the Dragons had best make a showing this year because it's down hill once again....Everyone has to have a dream.

Clinton fans have been fed enough $&!@ for the last 3 year...a little crow would be nice for a change. I doubt the menu will change much.

Unless things have changed Clinton Phillip Hester is NOT playing. Doesn't that say a little about whats going on with a program when talented players quit?

Clinton's Hester would be great, but he is not playing last I heard. The team has lost some decent players.

Fishsticks I do believe that is an over qualifiation for Clinton...lol...the better question is who is he related to?

Clinton has become the grave yard for has been coaches...I do hope the rumors of the AD stepping down are true, however if the rumors are true that he is being named Asst Principal...that would only go to confirm what we already knew..our school is in dire need of some people with smarts sitting in the drivers seat.

Logan Disney went to AC good player. Many parents at the Middle School now are already weighing their options (Grace could be a big winner with the up coming 8th grade class). It is a reflection when starters are quiting. They have also lost some good freshman (sophmore) players. This debate could go on and on, I just don't think it changes the facts that Clinton is going to continue to struggle until there are some positive changes. There needs to upgrades to the facility as well as the administration. What ever the reason for BD leaving it was Clintons loss and Coalfields gain. While other schools are seeing new talent come in Clinton hasn't (except for the Stone kid) and no one has seen him in a real game situation standing across from Maryville or Oak Ridge. Regardless as to what happens I think Clinton is a long way from rising to the occassion.

At last a Clintonian that isn't whistling dixie. Shattuck has been building a program now going on 4 years and there has not been any real accomplishments except that the team is getting smaller and I am not talking in weight and height. Each year is new because we continually loose upper classmen with the experience, therefore each year we start with young inexperienced players. I am not sure that it is all Shattucks fault there are some really nasty parents at Clinton who will do what ever to knock a player to better their own (not all those who do this know who they are). Every year for the last three has been going to be the year, I personally think the year of the Dragon is over. Punchingbag is right the real talent at the Middle School does not go to Clinton. I owe mine an apology for sending him there. Why worry about a playoff and just try winning more than 1 or 2 games? The kids are not the problem it's the adults running the programs from admistration to parents.

In light of the recent events at AC I just thing that some changes in the upper administration might be at hand. This recent event with AC Girls volleyball is a disgrace and for those who knew about it and choose to ignore it they are as guilty as the pervert who had relations with a minor. How can they justify just moving the head coach at the time of this (and the mans brother-in-law if I am not mistaken) to another school? I would think he should be held accountable and not just moved (out of sight of AC parents I guess its out of mind).....I hate that this has happened to the girls at Anderson County High School and for the parents of these students.....If I understood the paper correctly Mr. Stonecipher was aware of this a couple of years ago...I seriously think his job should be at jeopardy...Would he have ignored it had it been his daughter?

I know for myself and I am sure with others I have spoken with the details of some the incidents can not be shared in this forum due to the fact it would be directly linked to our kids and that I as a parent am not willing to do. I have and will continue to share with the appropriate people in charge and will continue to do so as I hope others do. You have to be careful as to not make the wrong people mad because your kids DO feel the aftermath. I hope you find the details you are looking for however I am addressing the people who hopefully can make a change.

Yes, it is old news but it tells a little about the man's character (which is lacking). You do seem to be very defensive of this person and the situation (Mr. Davis). I think there are many reasons why kids are leaving but this is coacht and football programs and teams are the focus of this forum. Clinton is going to have to bring in some new ideas with some outsiders helping.....There are too many in control that have been here since their parents and grandparents were and they are afraid to see things change...just like improving the stadium (I know it is supposed to be in the works but I will have to see this happen to believe it). There are some good people here and some good kids. But since you are a FACTS kind of guy, can you dispute that things are in trouble? and if you can honestly say there are some great improvement please share as many are seeing problems.

Whoever was AD while the previous coach was there wasn't doning a very good job with the programs thats obvious. I don't see any thing improving thus far. Uprising must have stepped on your toes where the manager is concerned. Yes, the manager is back on the field but the damage was done. I think what is the big issue with that is the fact that the AD handled it poorly and did not tell the truth regarding the whole situation, just as he has with other situations. Regardless of how you feel about the AD (and you seem to be ONE of his FEW supporters) you can't deny that the sports program (football) are in trouble and somehow things need to improve in order to keep what talent Clinton has at Clinton. Now you can paint rainbows all day long but facts are facts.

I think its been a long time since Clinton Has had and AD that was in the job to better the programs. Most were holding til retirement. The one we have now is on a power trip and he just bold face lies. He alone was the reason for our manager to be taken off the field. That action alone showed that he wasn't and never will be there for the sake of the kids. I would like someone to come in that has a desire to address the issues head on and is not taken in by the names in Clinton.
