East Ridge has not tied Notre Dame because we have not played yet....play next week. I don't know for sure but what I think Owl was trying to say was that your game tonight was a big game because it was a district game. I think he was trying to say some teams don't always get up the way they should if it is not a big game for them...ie Baylor vs you guys. Sounded like they just did what it took and maybe had McCallie on their brain??? Don't know if that was the case. Heard that Jimmy Weekly was not at the game for some reason. Anyway, I can't think about that we have our hands full trying to improve to get ready for playoffs....just don't get us tied with East Ridge yet before we play. Sounds like CCS played a great game tonight. But you can't put them over Baylor or McCallie based on a great game against Hixson. When we (ND) played you guys it was at Hixson on a rainy, bad weather night....for both teams I admit but it was on poor playing conditions for both. I know the field at Hixson is in real bad shape after our game.....pretty chopped up and hard to get good touches as you say. Tonight CCS must have played very well...but it does make a difference playing on a good playing surface at home. Just saying poor field conditions affects play for all. One good game does not make you #1 for sure.

I know this is at McCallie so give that advantage to them..but if memory serves me correctly McCallie has not even scored on Baylor the last 3 times they have played. 0-0 in their regular season game last year. In their region game at McCallie, Baylor shut them out 1-0. Always a defensive battle it seems. I will go with Baylor 1-0 with Carter Paden scoring the goal and Baylor's defense holding on.

For sure it is not the season so far that we would have liked. But losing to Baylor and Grissom....both are always powerhouses. Cleveland is very good this year. Lost alot from last years team....but we are not out of it yet. CCS still plays Hixson and us. Hixson is very improved also.

MVM I have to say I think you rankings make much more sense!

Big G, I saw almost all of the game. I have to agree with your "source". Catholic did pretty much dominate the game. The score is not always reflective of a game for sure.

It is frustrating but there are not to many games where are players are healthy to play at the same time. We (ND)played Baylor last night and 2 of their forwards...I thinik one is their leading scorer did not even play. I heard they held them out because of slight injuries to allow to heal. So I guess teams do not always have everyone. We were lucky the score was not worse....it could have been. We look forward though to our upcoming game with you guys.

I agree...I wish ND would list but not in my hands as I cannot list. I wish everyone would list on eurosport and coacht. Just wondered about the west vs baylor game since he brought that one up. I wonder if teams sometimes don't list a game that they think they may not win? Is this a possibility?

Not sure I understand. Since you used that West did not list the Baylor game on Eurosport...would they not list it because they lost the game...or do they just not list all games? Curious.

Anyone know how McCallie did this weekend in their tourny in Huntsville, Al? Can't find scores.

I like your top 5. CCS and Hixson tied....maybe but I would not put East Ridge in a tie. They lost badly to Soddy Daisy and Walker Valley beat them. Move them down. I would put McMinn County in over Red Bank.

They for sure can't be top 2. Baylor and then McCallie are the definate 1 and 2 in Chattanooga. I think it is alittle muddied after those two teams with a few teams that could claim the 3, 4 and 5 spot.

I pretty much agree with you here. Very hard fought game and good win for ND. Hixson is very much improved and is a good team.

Maybe the kid is a prima dona.....I don't know and will not pretend to know. On the surface it does seem odd...the on again and off again player situation. But after all I have read Big G post through the years and what others had said about him.....I am sure that much time and thought went into this decision. He has run a high quality program at CAK. I have been very impressed with Big G and have always thought what a great mentor he must be to his team. I just find it very sad....to judge a coach and school on one decision.

Finally alot of soccer action in Chattanooga this week. Just two games last night with Soddy Daisy and Franklin County tying 1-1. Also Southeast Whitfield beat East Ridge 4-0. Alot of games on tap tonight...probably most teams. Baylor and McCallie go out of town for tournaments this weekend.

I think you just have to reread the ER posts to get a better perspective....but better yet read Big G's post and he is dead on. Regardless, my last post here. I hope you have a great season also.

CCSMAN, I am going to have to agree with you on this. First of all ER has to realize that this post was ONLY started because ER has done something that I don't think they have ever done.....that is to not beat but tie a team that year in and year out goes to post season play. Now that being said.....I would be the first to congratulate ER on playing a fine game and tying CCS. That is great. But they have no reason to get cocky yet....if you notice the teams that are the traditional powers do not do this as a rule. To date that is all they have done. They tied Chattanooga Central and beat McMinn Central. None are ever talked about as being soccer programs or top 25, etc. You get my drift. AGAIN, ER, this thread was only created because it was a shock to see a tie score between ER and CCS. Guys, I don't know about you but this topic is getting old. Congrats to ER on a tie....but really wait to see what the season brings and see if you make it to the post season. There is really something to be said about about the quote ...."act like you've been there before".....even if you haven't yet.

It must have worked for them. Regardless with all of CCS's experience you would never see this coming. I never saw or really thought of looking for ER's score with Central this past week until now. Anyone know that score?

That is a total shock. No disrespect to East Ridge but that game is always never even close. What in the world happened?

At the top of the page click on schools....then type in your school. Then click on add games....it pretty much walks you thru it. I wish people would add their rosters also.

I just looked at the soccer schedules and there are not many listed and most teams are incomplete. Guys lets help Coach T and start filling out schedules, rosters, etc. The games begin this week so let's do it.

Unfortunately this is probably true of all teams. Most do not have everyone play at scrimmages because of an injury of two or they maybe have not reported from wrestling or basketball. Should be a great season!
