Clarkrange can play with them. I saw them scrimmage Gordonsville and they looked pretty good.

Gordonsville and Clarkrange scrimmaged tonight with Gordonsville winning 67-54. Upchurch is a good player for the Buffaloes. Gordonsville played a lot of players. Looks like their bench goes 4 or 5 deep with not a lot of drop-off. That could be huge for the BIG BLUE! Clarkrange will be tough in their district. Good Luck to all. Gordonsville has had 2 scrimmages this week. They lost at Cannon Co. earlier in the week by 8; and they shot terrible from the line and the field. They played Clarkrange today won 67-54. Played a lot of players, shot well, and played pretty good defense. If they can play that way, using the bench, and everyone contributing the way they did...this season could be a lot of fun.

York girls looked good against Gordonsville and Van Buren earlier this week. #22 and #43 can shoot lights out! They have others that shoot well along the perimeter too. They ran the floor well, and played pretty good defense. They could finish in the top 3 in District 7AA.

How are teams looking in their scrimmages, and who are they playing? I know Gordonsville scrimmaged Pickett Co., and they go to Cannon Co. next week sometime. I think Westmoreland has scrimmaged Clay Co.; and I think Watertown scrimmages Pickett Co. next week. Just wondering how the district is doing?

Pickett Co. and Gordonsville scrimmaged tonight at Pickett Co. Gordonsville won 55-50. Both teams looked good at times, first scrimmages always have the good, the bad, and the ugly. Both teams have some good players. It is going to be an exciting year in bo District 7A & District 8A.

Cannon County looked pretty good against Gordonsville yesterday. Cannon is big inside, one guy about 6'7", and they have a couple of guys that can shoot from the perimeter. Gordonsville looked good too. They didn't have all of their players due to football, only dressed 8. Gordonsville won 60 - 49. Cannon should do well this season. New coach is doing a good job. I can see them in the top 4 be the end of the regular season. Good luck Lions.

Anyone know any scheduled times or games yet?

Does anyone have any information on the teams playing and any of the times for these games? Some of the teams I have heard playing are: Livingston, Clay Co., Gordonsville, Eagleville, and Pickett Co. Don't know for sure, but this is what I have heard.

Hello CoachT, let me start by saying Thank You for all you do for high school sports. I am having a problem loading the basketball schedule for Gordonsville High School. I have tried going through the Inside Team page several times; but after entering a game, it always pops-up some kind of error. I was hoping you could help. I was able to load the roster. Ibelieve your predicted order of finish looks pretty close. I saw most of these teams play at camp this summer; and the top two looked impressive. York plays hard and makes things happen because of their intense play. Macon lost a lot from last year's team. DeKalb, even though they lost Bass, could still surprise...they always do. Smith lost alot too, but they could move into the 4 or 5 spot. Cannon has a new coach, and they too lost some key players. But doesn't Smith and York have new coaches also?
