  1. I have been waiting for ONE MONTH FROM TODAY ever since 11-15-07 (Red Bank)
  2. is the entire jamboree at Bearden this year? or is split up into two nights and two stadiums like last year?
  3. ...this used to be a Cool forum...
  4. well Leonard and Ladish will be accompanied by 72 Micah Bolden, 79 Ben McFalls, & 42 Ryan Pixley. as for 4 Tyler Turner, he won't have any trouble battling for starter. Sure he had a few "hiccups" last year, but it was his first year starting behind center. With a year under his belt, he looks to be a good playmaker this year. HOWEVER, in case the injury bug does decide to welcome itself to him once again (knock on wood), backups are very solid with 14 Zach Dowdy, 7 Hunter Snoderly, and 11 Josh Coffman. 2 of the 3 are mobile, and the 2nd-stringer, Dowdy, has had some experience already (such as Maryville, South-Doyle, and the blowouts last year). But my favorite thing about the team this year, is our depth at runningback. Not only can we go 6 or 7 back, they all have tremendous speed, such as: 23 Kevin Waggoner 42 Ryan Pixley 3 Zach Gibson 32 Daniel Hodge 21 Chris McGill 6 James O'Laughlin 33 Logan Stansberry SEE YOU THE 22nd
  5. IHOP, according to you, it doesn't matter if you lose by 8 for FORTY-8 - it's still a fat L on the column...therefore, HALLS did open a can on you...
  6. you have no idea what you're going up against little boy. I'll see you week 10! And you'll eat my dust
  7. what did Caleb Leonard do that game that was impressive? Wesley Kitts hardly played due to his rib injury suffered midway thru the first quarter. And 21-13....SCOREBOARD? EAT IT SON!
  8. IHOP, you have absolutely NO INTELLIGENCE ABOUT FOOTBALL. I get on here and just laugh at stupidity of people. Even Halls fans crack me up with stupidity. However, Halls opened a can on South-Doyle last year..with our JV team. And if any of these Lenoir City jokers throw their two cents in, it would just make my day! 0-10! HAHAHAHA! Laughing stock of High School Football by far. And I'm not an old person, so rarely do I use reference to past years, but I will never forget the Halls-SouthDoyle game 3 years ago...I seen South-Doyle fans leaving after the 2nd quarter. So you two cupcakes have fun tickling each other, while the big dawgs are playing football
  9. btgoG, I am yet to disagree with anything you've ever said
  10. I agree, to say Maryville is "down" is absurd. But to say Maryville is vulnerable, is logical. Also, I didn't necessarily call you a Pesimest. As of right now, I could care less about August 23rd or past that date. August 22nd is the only date in my head right now. Nor, was I challenging your intelligence on whether how we'll do past Maryville. However, I don't/ever will fully understand your Maryville method
  11. BtgoG, I couldn't agree more with our depth at running backs. As far as Kevin Waggoner, Ryan Pixley, James O'Laughlin, Chris McGill, or Logan Stansberry they couldn't get any stronger.
  12. well, that's awesome by trying to keep players with good attitudes. But I don't know about the choice of words "Halls has No chance..." last years playmakers were great, but all are replaceable. And Maryville lost practically ever playmaker they had except for Shuler. I'm just not seeing how we have no chance?
  13. with fan support like that, we have no chance
  14. well, I hope you like the way Kevin Waggoner & Ryan Pixley run it too lol
  15. I'm gonna throw my 2 cents too... 1) Halls- not just because it's a Halls thread, or because I'm a Halls fan, but because I BELIEVE that the Devils have what it takes to knock off Maryville in Week 0, and not turn back from there. I see the devils finishing regular season with an impressive 9-1 record with the loss to coming from powerhouse Bearden. So call me crazy, but I take the boys in red finishing numero uno 2) Maryville- coming in at number 2, the Rebels will still be a strong team...but not strong enough haha! But Maryville does have tremendous playmakers in RB Thomas Shuler, QB Zane Winders (I don't even think he's starting this year), and WR Chris Jordan. So still a monstrous team, but not good enough for the 1 spot. Final record: 9-1 3) Clinton- This will be Clinton's finest team in quite a while. With swift QB Darien Stone and playmaker RB Wes Hazelhurst they will seek to make playoffs for the first time in a good era. I believe their only losses in district play will be to Halls & Maryville. DEFINATELY LOOK OUT FOR THIS TEAM in the 2009-2010 season 4) West- Jake Ryan, Ken Easterly, Will Coley, Jack Wagner, and Jake Klotzbach are ALL now gone due to graduation, but the West Rebels, I believe, will take 4 and make the last spot in the playoffs. And as far as I know, West will be starting a SO. as starting quarterback this year. We'll see how that plays for them 5) Central- Ever since the win over Halls last year, the Bobcats downhilled their season very-much-so finishing 4-6 last year. Don't know what to expect from the Bobcats without their mobile QB anymore. However, they have great players in RB Jamie Wilson, WR Wyl McMillan, and WR Courtland Styles 6) Powell- Ugliest year Powell will have in a quite a while. With the only 2 playmakers left in QB Kier Houston and DL Will Barnes, players such as WR Tyler Drummer and RB Tyler Powell will have to step up to shine. Regardless, I see a losing season for the panthers. In fact, I believe they would've had a losing season last year if they played stronger Nondistrict games. 7) South-Doyle- Didn't really want to say SD at the 7 spot, just because they DO HAVE POTENTIAL, but this is this is by far the toughest district in 4A ball. QB is junior Jason Conley...well as far as I know, regardless...bottom of the pit 8) Lenoir City- Well, some things never change
  16. Speaking of which... 6O ENDS HERE!
  17. HHSREMEMBERTHENAME: TO answer your question, I was very suprised by wingback 33 Stansberry. I didn't see his performance coming. I thought our O-Line was fairly week. Especially our center, but he'll have time to grow
  18. sixsons- Don't worry about anyone. I've been reading this boards for about 2 years, roughly, and you're of about 8 guys that've known what they were talking about. So many jokers get on here, get excited because they're anonymous, and go to down on their "favorites". Quite frankly, they're full of crap As far as practice goes, I'm yet to see one, though I've heard cylinders are Clicking! Dowdy is OBVIOUSLY looking strong. Wide Receiver Zach Zabowski (basketball player) is, from what I've heard, shocking everyone with his talent. Also, Shaddix (big guy from the 2010 class) is allegedly breaking skulls. And last but not least- I don't know the kids first name, but there has been a TON of buzz about RB Kevin Waggoner getting popped yesterday by a Freshman (upcoming sophomore) LB with the last name "Woods". I've heard he's the son of the new freshman coach, Coach Woods. Well, there's my 2 cents.
  19. As far as spring goes, it doesn't look like the Field House is rising ANY TIME SOON. Despite what you may have heard, that's just going to be a while. No coaching changes seemed to be changed with the exception of Coach Williams taking over as Offensive Coordinator in place of the retired Coach Ward. And for players, the only loss I know of is WR/DB Jeff Noblin. That seems to be the only loss. And gains consist of QB/DB Paul McConkey, OL/DL Zach Shaddix, and Sophomore RB James O'Laughlin
  20. The 9th is Dobynns-Bennett, and the 16th is TBA
  21. Back to the topic of the Red Devils, Offensive Coordinator, Coach Ward, retired. How do you think this affects the Halls offense?
  22. Is this how they will do it? 1)Oak Ridge 8)West 4)Karns 5)Halls 3)Clinton 6)Campbell Co. 7)Central 8)Powell A little help please
  23. so..around the league: (hope this is correct) Andre Sterling (Farragut)- Ole Miss Brent Hughes (Halls)- Cumberland Daniel Dayton (Halls)- Cumberland Jake Ryan (West)- Austin Peay Will Coley (West)- Air Force (I don't know if that's for football, though) Brent Burnette (Maryville)- Middle Tennessee State Stephen Shiver (Maryville)- I never heard the latest. MTSU was my most recent discovery anyone else have n e thing?
  24. As a matter of a fact, I don't have a lack of knowledge. A friend of mine was using my computer and CoachT was uknowingly signed into my name. However, I do agree with him for the most part. Anyways, I've (Pirateman894) have talked to Wesley Kitts. He, obviously, has gotten local-small school offers. However, Michigan State seen a highlight reel of him and was impressed. Though that's a LONG SHOT, best of luck to W-Kitts
  25. From what I know, I like: Tyler Brock, David White, and John Clarke (Halls) Williamson and Guyman (Oak Ridge) Marsh (Clinton) and is Jake Ryan (West) still playing? If so, he's talent
