JYD the big man looked pretty good against bradford. He swatted everything that came close and grabbed a ton of rebounds. His offensive game still needs some work but he has improved his free throw shooting. I will tell you more after tonights game vs gibson.

Henry county looked good last night beating bradford 75-37 at bradford. We have 3 key players out. 2 starters but we are still deep. We play at gibson tomorrow night then we have an 11 day break.

On december 19 henry county will be hosting Eiffel Tower Shootout. Some top teams from all over are playin. If you wanna watch some very good talent come on to henry county and pack the gym. The coach wants to host this every year but said it will depends on size of the crowd. Yes the dunk from the little point guard was one of the best I've ever seen in person. And GC, marcus (#32) has been workin on his dribbling and shot the entire summer and he has greatly improved both. Can somebody please give me directions to bradford high school from paris.

Jcm's startin 5 looked good but there bench wasn't too impressive. I would like to see HC and DC play when we get our football players back. That would be a heck of a game. DC's big man is a beast. And marcus (#32) for HC looked to be even better than last year.

I think we have underachieved and if you ask the players they will probably say the same. 2 years ago we were at least the 2nd best team and we lost in the 1st round. Last year we were probably the best team and lost in the second round. And we should have won the region game. But that's the past and I think this is the year. And if its my grammer sorry I thought this was a message board not a essay contest.

When I read your posts on here or other boards it is always clear to me that the only thing you do know is "nothing". What is it that you think I know nothin about.

Shonte has not made a decision yet. He is focused on a state championship right now. As for skylar (the guard that is hurt) he could be back as early as mid january or might not at all. Depends on how he heals. And he did snap both bones but he is already up and walkin on cruches as much as he can. Remember HC also has the districts mvp returnin. We have underachieved for the last couple years. I'm hope this will be our year. We play dyer county saturday in a jamboree so we will see how good we can be without football players.

That part of the field is mostly kids. Don't worry about them. Now who are the players to look for on the green wave team. How big are the lines. I seen the stats and it looked like yall like to pass and run.

It most certainly was not me that posted the long story about skylar. I did however mention najee. But only so people would pray for him. Which worked. He is out and didn't have to have surgery. Realgame, why am I such a strange poster. It don't bother me I just wanna know why you think that. And as for the game. I hope its the biggest crowd ever. I hope there is no standin room left. I hope it is a great game (with HC on top of course).

No surgery for najee right now. He is under a 24 hour observation then they will decide on surgery then. And he is number 7.

Just found out najee has to have his appendix (sp) removed. He is headed to surgery soon.

We lost another starter today. Everyone keep najee ray in your prayers. Not sure on details. All I know is he was admitted to the hospital today and is very sick. Hopefully it is nothin serious. If I get any details I will let yall know.

One of the breaks was compound. His mom told me and I seen the x-rays. Ghs59 is his uncle so he knows more than anyone else on here.

Whomever asked about skylar he is up and walkin around today. His mom said he is doin much better than the previous few days. He wasn't gettin much sleep but I think he had a good night last night. Not sure yet but could even be goin home today.

I talked to skylars mom this mornin and she said they think it is a clean break. He is scheduled to have surgery at 10 this mornin. Dr gladwell think he might be back for the end of basketball season. If I find anything else out I will let yall know. If you see dr gladwell thank her so much cuz she had a baby this week and now is doin surgery on skylar.

Congrats to the 2009 patriots. You all had a great season. Let's keep it rollin through the playoffs. Also congrats to skylar haley on a great career in football, basketball, and baseball. You excelled at all 3. Get well as soon as you can.

Both of yall have henry county, clarksville northeast, clarksville northwest, springfield, and clarksville high in the playoffs. That's 5 district 10 teams. Do yall think our district is that strong.

Will west creek really be that high. Did they steal some players from northeast. Who all does everybody have comin back. I know we (HC) have pretty much everybody but our point guard. Congrats to CHS. Yall played a heck of a game. I knew this was gonna come soon. I'm just glad it wasn't in the playoffs. #10 was a beast on the d-line. He blew up our left side all night. We have had trouble with the option all year. And the touchdown at the half was because the qb acted like he was gonna run and the corner came up and he threw a strike right to the reciever. I thought shonte looked good throwin the ball when he came in. He had 2 passes dropped. I have always believed in coach gaddis and I think he will have the boys more than ready against dickson. But earlier in the season he was costin us yards. But now I think he understands he can't do that. He is in the "true running back position" in both the spread and the I, so I am missing your point. In the normal HC offense he primarily runs straight ahead. In the I he primarily runs straight ahead. He happened to have a pretty good night last week out of the I, but I think that was more by chance, than because of the formation. Someone said somethin about him dancin around last year and gettin positive yards. He was in the slot last year. Its easier to dance around comin around the end. When you are at a runnin back position you are supposed to find the hole and accelerate.

Well props to Jay McCadams, but I've seen him play enough to know he's certainly no Shonte Sims, passing or running. You could make an argument with the fact that he has played mostly with the JV in running clocks, but Shonte is simply a playmaker. He keeps the defense on their heels every time he touches the ball. No offense to Jay McCadams, who I'm sure will do just fine next week if last night was any indication. But if I had to pick my QB, the person who touches the ball every single snap, I'm taking Shonte over McCadams easily. No brainer in my opinion, but thats just me. But either way, Go Big Red!!! Shonte is a playmaker, but as we've all seen in the past 2-3 years, he's better known for his defensive plays of pure brilliance. Offenses lined up against HC knowing that he lurks in the secondary like a tiger stalking his prey. Sure he's done exceptionally well this year. However, did anyone else notice how in the second half, whenever Jay was put in the game after Shonte went down, the offense suddenly was revived? He led them on two scoring drives, while also keeping the defense motivated to hold the fierce running game of Northeast to 7 points. It seemed to me that the offensive team was more responsive to McCadams than when Shonte was in there. Now, Shonte is one of the best defensive-back players to come through HC, and his presence will definitely be missed. But I can't believe how some people "RedSwarm10" can doubt Jay's abilities without getting see what he can do with the first-team offense! He played 3 snaps against Liberty with them, only because Shonte caught a minor cramp. Since then, he's been stuck with the second team, and has tried his darndest to make the best out of what little they support him with. West Creek was a prime example, given the sloppy conditions. Bad snaps with the second team, while Sims went on with like 10 total first-team offensive snaps, and never had one bobbled. Give Jay a chance before you count him out of the QB race. I know he'll raise some eyebrows and answer some questions friday night against Clarksville High. I think shonte should be the starter no question when he returns. The reason jay moved the ball so well is cuz we went to the I formation. If we did that with shonte I think we would have moved the ball just as good. On another note william henry had a heck of a game for bethel tonight. He had 6 or 7 tackles and a sack. And he was in the qbs face all night. Also cordarius mann from northside had some big runs for bethel. Still small and super quick. Its good to see him back from sittin out his senior year due to injury.
