There was actually one unsportsmanlike against LaVergne and also a running into the kicker that should have been roughing the kicker. I'm not trying to prove any point "buddy". Maybe I was wrong. Maybe there was less going on out there than what I saw. I'm sorry for making observations. Now we'll drop the subject on the LaVergne players being classy or unclassy because all the parents that I sat with sided with me...so it's a split decision I guess. But that was really just like /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> when you said "What point are you trying to prove buddy?"...Um..well I guess I said it straight up that I thought LaVergne was unclassy. Can you not read?

What I'm calling classless is the countless hits Lavergne put on Blackman after the whistle was blown, particularly on Blackman's first kickoff return on the sideline and whatever Grooms did to LJ Joyce as well. Number 1 for Blackman did not taunt LaVergne publicly, he was always trying to get the sideline and fans fired up. But I love when a Lavergne guy makes a tackle on the Blackman sideline and holds up his LaVergne jersey like he's something while he yells at Blackman players on Blackman's own sideline.

Two thoughts about this game 1: Blackman needs to pass the ball more. Crocker has got an arm. 2: LaVergne unfortunately is a very unclassy team.

But you may be right. I just moved out towards Lewisburg and only watched the games in Lewisburg, however many that may be. Bowers shot opposite field was amazing. Had to be over 420 feet. I'm relaying imput I'm hearing from my nephew, which we all know might be exaggerated. I guess we will see this year how Sisco does under the pressure. Who is getting college looks?

Sisco runs a 7.1 60 time. That is sick for his size. He's one of the fastest guys on BHS. Sisco throws 90 mph off the mound. He runs very well as well. And he has a better arm than Bowers. The "Babe Ruth" team he lost to was the Baxter All Stars with players such as Farley and Cox from Cookeville. The Baxter team he lost too was stacked. He came in in like the 5th inning and went until the 12th. Gave up 1 run. If giving up 1 run to a stacked team like Baxter isn't an amazing performance, I don't know what is expected.

Now that doesn't make much sense at all to me. I've been to several Blackman games because my nephew plays for them, and from what I've seen, Sisco has more power than Bowers does. Bowers is good, probably better than Sisco. But to say Bowers can change the game with one swing, but Sisco can not, just doesn't make much sense to me.

I knew of Page. I just forgot about the Independence scrimmage and was thinking 06 was the last time we played Independence, when Page wasn't on the roster. Good post though.

ha.real mature. for one, if you knew patton you'd know that him and crack are impossible. Josh Patton is one of the best linebackers in the state. Wow..just wow..your post cracks me up.. Sisco and Bowers at Blackman hit for power and average and Sisco strikes out nearly 2 batters an inning from the hill.

He's a lot older than most HS sophomores. Just pointing that out.

The all state team has nothing to do with how the individuals performed at state.

I don't know what Coach Kriesky has to do with anything...seeing as he had such great success at Blackman. Oakland has athletes and some great linebackers. They will definitely at least be "all right".

People are underestimating the Blaze.

Blackman will most likely have the top defense in the region.

Blackman should definitely contend this year. They only graduated one player last year and return a very very talented group. They have some extreme athleticism in Campbell, Nowlin, Overton. They also return some great shooters in Wheeler and Dorsett and most of all have some great height in Smith and Norris. Nowlin can almost score at will and Overton can put some lock down D on most when she wants. This team is the real deal.

Patton's 40 I most likely did inflate. It's probably more in the 4.75 range. maybe his dad could clarify? But the sizes ...are accurate. Their line is huge.

And anyone that says Jeremy Mimms used to Blackman is extrememly mistaken. The kid was lazy and didn't run faster than a 4.55 and had no moves. He had an attitude and was nothing more than an achilles heel. I don't know why I am arguing with you because you said Dajuan maybe weighed close to 200 pounds. Bowers weighs 210 and Dajuan is MUCH bigger than him. You..just have issues man. Dajan is about 260 pounds. Shawn Smith was a sophomore last year that had nearly 6 yards a carry last year and Bowers had 7 yards per carry last year! Get your facts right. Bowers WILL go D1. Probably in Football AND Baseball. Patton WILL go D1. Easilyyyyy....Perfect Size. Hard worker. Great character. 6 foot 3 220ish lbs. Perfect linebacker size. Runs about a 4.6 to 4.7. The kid is good and can shed ANY blocker. Man..I don't know what your problem is...But if you're a scout..I feel sorry for whatever school you are scouting for.

Out of Region 4 Sophomores Jeremiah Bryson-Smyrna. Has some of the best vision I've seen in my 23 years. Shawn Smith-Blackman. Quick feet. Reggie Bush esque. Turns nothing into something. Creative. Seniors Justin Bowers-Blackman. Being moderately recruited by Phillip Fulmer and UT. 2 sport star. 200 lb frame carries speed and a punch.
