Blackman has a very very formidable duo in Hunter Mitchem and Zander Wiel. Zander Wiel is an up and coming STAR while Mitchem is a kind of a coach on the field catcher for Blackman High School.

How'd the game turn out?

Blackman is better than their record however. They lost 5-4 to the 10th rank team in the nation, a 5-4 game to Bartlett(beat Bartlett 15-5 the next week), Cookeville in a game that they gave up 9 runs in one inning, and Beech in a game where it was planned pregame to throw 7 pitchers. Blackman can play. Not to sound overconfident /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Lebanan can play too...that's the thing. Let's play Ball.

If Mitchell and Sisco throw at their potential, then they will sweep...although Lebanon can swing the sticks almost as well as anyone in the state. This will be a great matchup. Is Bowers catching fire for Blackman? Will Sisco show everyone how good he is? Will Mitchell and Checcin continue to come up big with runners in scoring position? All of this remains to be seen. Will be a great series.

Blackman deserves more respect. They swept Siegel, gave Beech the game, and lost to Bartlett 5-4. Their also lost was to the 47th team in the nation,Sylvan Hills which they lost 5-4 as well, where Blackman pitched their number 4, and Sylvan Hills pitched their number 3, and their ace and Arkansas standout DJ Baxendale.

How is Jordan Cooper going to manage at Kentucky and as a Major League draft pick? Didn't he,as a senior, give up 6-8 runs to AA Spring Hill? Dude...come on..Mitchell was throwing a no hitter before his 4th inning, at which point he just couldn't throw a strike. As a junior lefty, he throws 86 with movement, and the best changeup in the district...come on!

Ross Mitchell, a junior who will most definitely pitch division 1 ball. I mean, I guess you could say we have 2 aces...But in my opinion I'd rather have Mitchell on the hill than Sisco right now...that doesn't mean though that Sisco can't dominate a team on the mound, because he can, and he will many times this season.

Bowers went hitless as well. I'm telling you, Blackman as a TEAM, can play. All of them can hit.

He didn't go 0 for 4. He went 0 for 2. Walk, Groundout to 3rd, HARD linedrive to center field. Now Blackman gets into the weaker part of the pitching staff for Siegel , while Blackman will throw their ace tomorrow.
