And how did BA jump ahead of Alcoa nationally? By soundly beating an out-of-state team that had a history of being ranked nationally.

As for me, I believe that MBA is ripe for the letdown after beating some historically dominant public schools and their archrival, Ensworth. It'll be easy for them to have a little swagger in their step at this point. Traveling to Baylor and playing in Chattanooga just lends itself to an upset. Call it a gut feeling.

Once again, Shakin... I'll agree with you, especially since the game is in Chattanooga.

McCallie will be headed to Ensworth on Friday. Ensworth has struggled losing to two good teams, Oakland and MBA. Will Ensworth be able to pull out a win against McCallie?

No. You're not missing something. That is Canes attempt at humor in response to the other thread. Notice the period. He started this thread and is basically saying that he cannot recall or that there isn't any such thing as "great officiating calls."

According to the Tennessean, Baylor beat CPA 2-1. I know that Baylor is predicted to be the best in Chattanooga. CPA has an amazing coach that prepares her team well in the few years she has been coaching at CPA. However, this score is closer than I would've thought. Anyone see this game and can comment?

Does anyone know what is going on with Kathy Kroeger now? I can't remember... which college did she attend?

Ravenwood appears to be pretty good this year. Baylor always manages to put together a very competitive team. Any word on the other teams in this tournament?

Yes, it was a tough miss for Renfro. He's got to remember that there were other mistakes in the game, like a fumbled punt that set up the first score for MBA. Also, penalties hurt BA in the 4th quarter. MBA capitalized on all of the mistakes. Both teams struggled in their kicking games. Fletcher missed two field goals that were typically automatic for him... very unusual. He was a class act after the game to seek out Renfro after he missed the final extra point. Another close game in a huge rivalry. Good luck to MBA in your quest to beat MUS in the finals!
