Everyone seen all four teams play multiple times? West didn't come to play against Bearden the first time. I don't think at all West relies on Bearden not showing up, especially after seeing West the past couple games. West has held Farragut closer than Bearden has even without Tanner, not that that means all that much, but from what everyone is sounding like Farragut, Bearden, and OR are miles ahead of West, which is not true.

Forget last year when West DID win the region? How in the world would it be harder to pick West over Oak Ridge winning when they did just that by beating them 3-1 in a game that didn't get that close in the second half last night?

I wouldn't consider Oak Ridge a "big" upset. I don't think West is getting credit for being as good as they really are. The first time they played Bearden might have been their worse game all season, not to mention one of the first. It'll be close but, West 3 Bearden 2

It seemed like the entire starting defense never came back in after the first half. Not to take anything away from CAK, but I think that was a large part to the four goals in the second half. Some of the starters came back in after the third goal, but only offense, I'm pretty sure. At that point there was like five minutes left. They play again in the regular season, that will be the true test between the two teams.

I think right now Central, Karns, Oak Ridge and West all have nine region wins. This is a big , anybody got any predictions? West has won nine in a row now, after only winning five games combined the last two seasons.

How's the game going to play out tonight? West has quietly been winning games, I believe it is eight straight, with the last one knocking off Oak Ridge. It seems Kessler has turned things around relatively fast. If the beat Central, they won't be far from the top of the division. Go Rebels!

Go Powell....err that doesn't sound right. But I believe if Powell wins it locks their second seed, putting West at third (if they beat Central) and Clinton at fourth. Don't know who West will end up playing but traditionally the second seed in the other region is never nearly as good as the one seed. (see Brainerd 2007)

And West called timeout for thirty seconds when they were about to kick the field goal, but they "didn't notice." I literally saw a ref on the sidelines look at them then look at the play, and not do anything.

Yes, scoring two touchdowns on two 80 yard drives is complete luck, especially with no crap penalties. O and taking a safety instead of giving Halls another chance to score a TD or block the punt, yeah that's luck.

Our lack of offense at the beginning of the year was caused by playing teams like Farragut, Bearden and Sevier County. If I'm not mistaken Bearden just beat Campbell County as well, and we know how good Farragut is. I am taken aback at how cocky it seems the Clinton fans are. When was the last time you were good before this year? West D is what makes up for anything on offense they are lacking, and the offense is looking better every game. I know 30 points seems like too much to be bragging on the D but that's what happens when Maryville has the ball for all but three and a half minutes of the second half. I think this will be a very close game, but I don't know what in the heck is making people think Clinton will win this one "easily". West- 24 Clinton- 21

Well if nobody else is going to defend us.... We had three starting linemen out Friday, and I'm pretty sure that played a big part in not being able to run the ball or even have two seconds to pass, not making excuses because Farragut is good. Our D looked all right for the first few series, but of course..well we know what happened, but I'm pretty sure Bearden doesn't have the running talent or the O-linemen that Farragut has. Didn't Bearden lose 25 Seniors? I believe West lost 22? I'm not going to make a prediction, because the first week's opponents were so different, but I don't think it will be a blowout. By the way the rivalry will most likely "reignite" when the divisions change and there will be a division almost exclusivley for West Knox. schools, heck every game will be a rivalry.

If it was in Knoxville, it would be cool if they had it at UT's Regal Cinemas Soccer Stadium, although obviously there wouldn't be multiple fields.

Who all has Collierville faced? Hadn't really heard much about them.

I'm hoping you realize how out of date your rankings are, D.B. was ousted at the beginning of the playoffs, not to mention your toss up for Catholic and Bearden, where's Knox West? I do recall them knocking off both those teams not to mention your #4 Farragut who is also no longer playing.

Yea, because they have different seasons, at least California, and Florida, I know play in the fall, so when Bearden won their "National Title" a few years back it was only of the states that play in the spring.

Just curious, because I really do not know, who have they beaten this year? I cannot recall them beating anyone big, and I can bet they are no where near the best in the nation. Being undefeated does not always mean that much....example D.B. who was until the faced Bearden, and then lost by six.

It was straight to red, unless in the five minutes I wasn't there he got a yellow, and was on a kid who had not said a word all night. It should not have been a red, maybe a yellow, but at this point it was 11:15, the game started at seven, most are obviously extremely tired, and not to mention hungry after being at school for god knows how long, the ref should not have jumped so quickly to put West at a man down starting in the first overtime.

Curious as to why you think Catholic would beat West by two goals, yes I know Catholic is good this year and beat Bearden too, but I still think West has better athletes
