  1. You say you know them, so you are obviously a sophmore that probably doesnt even play, or are on the team and just stand there and watch the games.....you must not know anything about Myers or any of Ensworth, you just assume Ben is the best player in the world and can never we tackled by any person alive. Im pretty sure he hasnt done much to any team this year so i dont think Ensworth is to worried about that. Back to the game. Ensworth by 7 Ensworth with wil pound it over and over and then go with a play action and catch them off guard all game
  2. Wow, you dont know to much about ensworth obviously. Ensworth's team is full of speed and can just down most player and surely can hit. I dont think Conor Lowery can really do much on the run with all of Ensworth's speed. Soon as he attempts to run he will be surrounded by Ensworth D players. And if he passes the ball which is CPA's main weapon, Ensworth who has a strong secondary should be able to shut it down. They are just weak on the runs up the middle so we will see. Ensworth has alot more than Tavarres and Harrison. You forgot about Orleans, Myers Bierd ( fast big hitting LB), Trent Wallace (6'8 WR), and freshman Rodney Anderson (4.5 speed) there is alot more to ensworth than alot of people think. Dont get me wrong. This is going to be a great game no matter what. Seeing Connor Lowery and Tavarres Jefferson on the field will be a good watch.
  3. Ensworth has taken major strides since last year. Just ended up beating Wilson Central and their Wing T Offence 14-0 but only at half. Ensworth has also beaten Ravenwood 28-7 with the first team in. I think this is a reabuilding year for Ravenwood but they deffonitly have some future coming up but this may not be there year. Ensworth is a new team with another year of Ricky Bowers under their belt. Ensworth is now gettng accustomed to his style of play and game pace and how he runs things. he did wonders at MBA and with a bunch of talent at Ensworth he can surely set up a great team and what could be a great season this year. Look for Tavarres to make a huge impact this year. He had one heck of run vs Wilson Central, runnign all the way to the right side of the field on an option and ends being grabed by the jersey and spun 10 yards back and then changes fields and cuts up field and make 4 deffenders miss and scores for a 64 yard TD. He is one of those backs you just cant tackle in the open field and look for the power RB Orleans O-Darkwa. Look for them to have a quiete entrance to the playoffs and go on a deep run
  4. i was there as well and 12 looked alright but just wasnt mobile enough for the O i thought. Number 10 did alright but i think 12 led a pretty good drive if im not mistaken. I cant remember why but i thought number 12 couldnt have any contact for some reason. Sorry i ment to correct this earlier but ensworth's first team had 28
  5. MBA's run game should be real good with that O line and Preston Bailey. They have quite the big oline but there passing seems to just have nothing to show. Nobody even knows who the QB is, from all i heard it could be S. Wise and he isnt that good and all of these issues. So i could see them line up R. Vensang (sp) or Christian Waddy at QB and just run it from there. So Antioch doesnt really have to focus that much on the pass and will be able to bt another man in the box to slow down that run. Look for a close game but not a blowout. but i would give MBA the win
  6. ensworth does have alot of talent had could be alot better than teams think. With Ricky Bowers there, they can get some things done. Dont think they will be at the top this year but look for them to be a sleeper and beat some teams that may surprise you. Look for them to make a big run next year with Tavaress being a Senior and 4 of their starting linemen being seniors as well next year, and Orleans O-Darkwa being a junior. They have the talent to do some damage but just not enough experience just yet. Give them a couple of games to get warm but when it comes around to MBA i think they will be heated up and ready to go
  7. In the scrimmage of Ensworth vs Ravenwood, it looked as if Ensworth beat them with ease. On Ravenwoods first four drives, they didnt get a single first down. and Ensworth scored twice before they could even get a point or a first down. Ensworth's first team ended up beating their first team 21-7. Tavarres Jefferson had 2 TD's, one from from 63 yards out and Orleans O-Darkwa had another from about 70 yards out....could this mean somthing about Ensworth or is this years Ravenwood much different than expected?
  8. hillsboro is way to go for anybody this year. Jaq and Eric are so deadly. They are way to talented and can just beat you in so many different ways. They will crush Maryville
  9. Ensworth was hurt with Injuries from Kerry Oakley with multiple concussions and the loss of Matt Arent, Jarett Blihovde (leading WR last year) and Marvin Hughes, all to Hillsboro. But they are fit on there depth right now and really have filled in the spot of Jarett with Trent Wallace from BA. He is a 6-8 receiver who can just go up and grab the ball. He isnt the fastest guy out there but give him a jump ball and he will be sure to come down with it. Webb too from what i hear is a good contender as well. So i see Ensworth and Webb making the playoffs but i think if Ensworth can really work with the coaching they have, they really could have a deep run in the playoffs. A great game to see will be the Ensworth @ MBA game. It is going to be the most hyped up game of both MBA's and Ensworth's season. They have their depth on D but are a little loss on there WR core but definitely are getting somewhere.
  10. no maryville is just so physical and really can play
  11. This is going to be Ensworth's first real test to see if they are ready take it up a notch. They scrimmage Hillsboro Saturday (the 11th) at 9am at Ensworth High School. Ensworth has already had one scrimmage against Columbia and just tore them apart like they were nothing. They let Columbia drive the ball but it seemed that when Columbia got inside the 20 Ensworth had a whole new look and mentality to their D, they didnt give up a single point. So it will be interesting to see if that D they showed inside the 20 will show up against Hillsboro on the 11th. Comment on how you think this will turn out. Is Ensworth even ready for this kind of play yet?

  13. Tavarres has turned into one heck of a player over the past couple of years. Ensworth is a new school just starting up so it is kind of intresting where they are going to go with there season. But Tavarres is a major role in that team. He is just so slippery and quick. I've seen him turn runs that seem to look like it would be a loss but turns into an easy first down. He seems to have a mind set that it is nothing is impossible. He is a great rising back and will be noticed this year. Watch what could be the biggest game of the year, Ensworth @ MBA on October 5th (also on CSS). But T has been working alot at FS but seems to be built like a CB because of his ability to run and jump and hit so it will be intresting to see where he ends up this season. Also last season as a sophmore, he had 1 game with an 84 yard run a 50 yard run and a 54 yard run all for TD's. Soon as he sees an opening it is just off to the races. Eric Gordon though is the real deal. Hillsoboro actually scrimmages Ensworth at Ensworth August 10th so that would be a good game to watch. That will have the return of Hillsboro's QB Matt Arent Wr Jarett Blihovde LB Cody Blihovde and FB Marvin Hughes
  14. He didnt go to school in California, he came from Oak Ridge after his father pasted away for a new start
