I think Farragut's Defense is UNDER RATED... tough schedule.... points given up/game gm 1- 8 pts, 2-7pts....12 pts 11 pts then loss to riverdale ....d gave up 20 gave up 7........17.........35 to maryville......0 to blount.......7.........7 to owls......3 to bearden tonight.... they could upset maryville ...................if farragut qb can keep from throwing it into the hands of the opponents' def backs

question to the/ for the McMinn Co Radio crew...........????? did Maryville's press box have enough room for your crew to set up (like..in the press box).....or did they have to set up in the actual stadium seats like the Oak Ridge football radio crew did earlier in the year?..... you would think that with a program such as Maryville... who has been "there" before.... would already have a 'set room/space' for the opposing/traveling team's radio crew???? Am I thinking too far out of the box here????????

If Maryville wins, Oakland or Riverdale will travel to Maryville. If Farragut and Riverdale win, Farragut travels to Riverdale. If Farragut and Oakland wins, Oakland travels to Farragut. how have you come to this "home field" criteria????????? official???? what determines the semi final home field???

Thorough, you claim to know Owls football...but did you say that the freshman team only had 2 "speedy" players??? how many PBRs had you consumed before your Owls Freshman Football Experience???

What about attendance in the new TSSAA playoff system around the state???? Farragut at Ooltewah 1st round better than regular season game....but not 'packed'....no where near touched either of the 2- Farragut at Ooltewah match ups last year $8 a ticket is way way way way way too much....with our current economy's condition, targeted ticket buyers (Farragut and Ooltewah STUDENTS!!!!!! and their families), local high school football fans.... the day after I paid $16 (for myself and co-worker) to attend 1st round HIGHSCHOOL playoff game in Ooltewah, TN, I traveled up to Knoxville with my family (4 free tix from family member) to see an DIVISION 1 college football game..... $5 a ticket is PLENTY....no more....

I like #15 for Admirals....I think he has great arm...I really mean impressive arm... also has Great skill players to get the ball to.....he holds this offense back (I think) he is really good at handing it off mediocre at commanding the passing game

Owls will have more players than expected since the numbers at East Hamilton are so high.............ha ha ha ....I bit a hole in my adult bev.can when I read that....here are some reasons why silliness reigns in that statement..... 1. players deep on the Hurricanes' depth chart saw no future opportunity or playing time....If they are deep on the Hurricanes' depth chart.....they might not be able to run Gatorade Team for the Owls practice. 2. Any former Owl player that transferred to East Hamilton couldn't hack it once in Owl program, wouldn't or couldn't hack it again 3. Just mentioning Ooltewah football and East Hamilton football in the same conversation is the same as ................ .......................Univ. of Tennessee Volunteer football (Ooltewah) and UTC Mocs football (East Hamilton football)

The freshman running back (Davis) could be real good.... He could contribute early.....Only saw him run once....but he did put on a show

#15 for the Admirals has to cut down on his INTs to keep Farragut moving through these playoffs.

I am just an average (but devoted) Owl fan. I do not know enough about the players coming up to make any predictions.... ....but..... I do know (from what I've witnessed in 6 ballgames this year) #5 will be the leader of this team..... the Warren kid can contribute... most of the line is back (I think) #30 will be a head hunter on Defense (hard hitter on special teams this year) There are some other posters on this site that can give a deeper assessment of the Owls' future talent. help us out guys and girls...
