Isn't it possible that Page initiated the interest in playing a AAA team to better themselves ???? The better teams you play the better you become. At least thats the way it is supposed to work.

Blackman 2 Wilson Central 0 -- Blackman defense , anchored by junior Trey Dunn and freshman GK , Paxton Mitchell held off the Wilson Central attack. Blackman had goals by Ryan Zeeck and Wesley Thompson.

Blackman 5 Coffee Cty 1 --- Total team effort by the Blaze. An excellant junior class coupled with a strong senior forward seems to be working for the Blaze. Could easily have been 8-1. Many missed opportunities. Not much offense from Coffee Cty as the Blaze defense shut them down. Freshman goalkeeper for Blackman made a couple of key saves. He should be one of the best in the coming years.

All deserving young men. I am quite intrigued by the move to put Bryson Woodall up top at Siegel . Being a striker most his life , I'll bet he is looking forward to the challenge . This might be the ticket for Siegel. His dad probably had a hand in that . LOL

Great point and when it comes time for Tennessee travel teams to schedule college showcase tournaments there are few . Many of which are in the spring when we play HS ball.

I thought the same thing . They were looking ahead to Riverdale. Shelton blew it .

Probably looking ahead to Riverdale as young athletes tend to do. Big mistake not playing district final.

The bigger issue here is home field advantage . siegel will have to travel to a stronger Columbia team and Riverdale stays home to play a weaker Franklin Cty team. Then if both teams win , Siegel will have to play at Riverdale for the region title.Soooooooooooo
