  1. If you follow recruiting youd know that hes had a roller coaster recruitment and nothings signed and sealed with that kid till signing day. Take it easy on trying to flame.
  2. Managers do not get enough love. They're really selfless in what they do and they never get recognized. Im sure this kid has done everything the coach has asked him over the past four years and gotten nothing from it untill now. Congrats kid on making a memory that will last forever and great deal coach on letting him play good for you.
  3. Jarvis Vernado leads the nation in Blocks per game and Gerarld Robinson is killing it at TSU this year. Brandon Wright, IMO, was the best high school player in Tennessee history, just based on high school alone. 4 Consecutive state titles is unheard of and he would just dominate games. Triple doubles all the time... His teammate, Joshua Bone has had a good year for the Salukis at SIU. And Brandon Brown, last years DII Mr Basketball has earned a starting spot for Lipscomb...and Brandan's little brother, Brian is redshirting at Lipscomb I believe
  4. UNC might have hurt themselves in terms of picking up a committment from McDonald when Dexter Strickland, a highly ranked guard from St Pats up in New Jersey that is similar in playing style to Leslie. Im not sure if that will affect McDonald but its just something to notice.
  5. After Michael Kelly picked off the ball from Trent Wallace I think I heard 'wreck your car!' from Wallace. I dont know though. Cold weather affecting the kicking game can only help BA since MBA has, by far, the better kicker. Obvious.
  6. Mike, Jess, and Jeremy Martin are some of the most competitive people I know and they do everything they can to win...It can sometimes get the best of them but it usually pays off. Jeremy Martin is going to be a college player. Jess has had some monster hits this season. They're good players and have been playing really well as of late. It doesnt shock me at all about any 'late hits' in this game with the emotions that the players play with in these games. These two schools hate eachother and it shows in nearly every sport. I remember in the basketball game last year at MBA there were some hard fouls and a few borderline cheap shots. This game Saturday is going to be hype. There are going to be hard hits and there is going to be trash talk, but its not so much the arrogance or cockiness, its just the intense rivalry and dislike for eachother. And I'm excited to see it.
  7. #26 Michael Kelly is another stud who goes 110% on every play...Great Kid... He had a nice pick on EHS last week.
  8. Both defenses are good and both have steady offenses. I dont know whether the BA pass game has greatly improved, or if the EHS secondary is just that bad. I mean BA was out running them on deep routs and running through weak tackles on short passes. EHS couldnt tackle at all. That'll be an interesting matchup to watch on Saturday because the BA pass attack has been up and down this season.
  9. If BA wins I doubt they score 20 because I really doubt they'll kick two field goals.....
  10. Mason Graham is also constantly overlooked in all of these talks. The senior RB/LB has come up with big plays on both sides of the ball and brings all kinds of energy to the BA team. MBA has three great running backs but they are no better than Chris Jordan, Josh Tate, and Mason Graham when you look at how they've played this season.
  11. BA will get score touchdowns. MBA will kick field goals. If I remember correctly, in the first game between the two schools, MBA's scoring drive was something like 40 yards because of a bad, bad punt from BA. The rest were all field goal drives for the Big Red if I can remember. BA's offense is tough to stop when Chris Jordan is running well and catching screens, and when Cody Nelson is throwing the ball well, which has been the case in recent games. And the BA defense has been all over the run game in the recent weeks. Along with the belief that 'its hard to beat a team twice in a singe year', I just believe BA is the better football team along with a better staff. BA 21 MBA 13 Back to Back for Brentwood Academy.
  12. Didnt Chris Jordan win a state title in track this past season? Watching him run from the stands he seems almost impossible to bring down with one or two guys
  13. MBA has a good d, but they allowed sophomore Joshua Tate to rush for 120 and a TD in his first real start as a feature back.....Tate is a good back, but Chris Jordan is five times better than Tate.
