  1. Indian, their top two players transferred to Stewarts Creek!
  2. Not sure what is meant by "they admitted", I simply stated that Oakland had 3 transfers in this yr. Nothing more and nothing less! My point is you can't say only 1 program had transfers which is what I think is trying to be said. If that's not what you are meaning, then I apologize. Stewarts Creek had 5 transfers, so it is what it is.
  3. It's not illegal, when playing summer ball the rule is in place to where a player can play on a team from a boardering state, so that's just not this program. It's in place for everyone, some of the top players from Murfreesboro play on a top team in Kentucky, so it's not just this program! I understand and it's apparent that you guys don't care much for the program and the people in question, which is fine, but don't say they're doing something illegal when they're not. Well unfortunately there are not a lot of people wanting to move to Eagleville, over the last 15 years Murfreesboro is simply the place to be. It's well noted that Murfreesboro was one of the fastest growing cities in the US(per capita). Not sure if you're talking about a particular school that has ppl "funneling in", but in 7AAA the top 4 teams ALL had girls that played within the program at one point or another. Last thing, because I can't change your thinking, but the TSSAA cannot prevent people from moving, so investigate what? Yes, it has to be a legal move, but if a family decides to move to what they feel is a better situation, then there's nothing that should be said for that families decisions..
  4. Fact of the matter is a lot of people are commenting on something that they really don't know the entire truth about! Yes you may hear bits and pieces, but not all of the facts! AAU/Exposure is not just here in Murfreesboro! Go to a tournament and you'll see well over 400 teams playing, from across the USA, therefore it must be others that feel this is a benefit. My daughter did play for the program that you guys are trying to dog out and we went to them, they did not come to us, but I'm smart enough to know where I felt she would get the best training(IMO), of course there are several alternatives, but this is the one we chose, so you can't hide behind a computer and be negative on decisions that others make! IMO it was a great decision, my wife and I are not having to pay college tuition. Yes, she has some ability, but the training and coaching she rec'd pushed her to the next level. As for me, I'm thankful for the program and the coaches and in turn will give my time to help other families reach there goals. Bottom line is you can't believe everything you hear.
  5. Those 3 kids played on a AAU team out of Knoxville last year. The parents just happened to like what they saw and approached the coaches! The parents said they liked the program, coaches and development of the kids. This all happened at the aau nationals in Orlando. They drive here to practice, train and play (all by choice)(did not fly!). Last yr they traveled 7 hrs to play, this yr is 4 hrs! Also many schools have transfers, so you should get all facts before going on hate trip without all the information. Parents have the right to put their children in the best situation if they choose to do so. EVERY school in Rutherford county at one point or another as reaped the benefit of our organization and our head trainer! Class of 2014 had over 20 girls from the team get college scholarships. So as a parent, if your kid plays and wants to get better and also play at the next level, you do what's needed to make it happen! If that's training, traveling or whatever, then so be it! Oakland made it to state with the addition of 3 transfers this yr, so it is what it is! Now the Smyrna/Riverdale game, it was a bad decision by both coaches and they are paying for the decision that was made.
  6. I can understand why you think that, however, she's played against guards 4-5 inches taller throughout of yrs of playing! This includes exposure ball where she was on the top Jr. team as a freshman! I've known her since she was in the 4th grade, given her work ethic and determination, in addition to her high basketball IQ, ...She'll be fine.
  7. He was suspended just as Riverdale's coach, however the Principal at Smyrna decided to let him go as head coach! So he's no longer the head coach!
  8. You're right homie! Union City is too good!
  9. I'm a Viking alum, but that ain't happening! I'm sure you're joking but still. LOL
  10. I didn't either! Being from Humboldt, it's tough seeing the steady decline. There are internal education issues that have to be corrected or people will continue to move out. Do you know what the cutoff is that seperates A from AA?
  11. Per The Tennessean (October 15, 2014) Mitchell-554 Gibson Co-458 Halls-416 Union City-397 Trenton-395 Humboldt-263 South Fulton-245 Lake Co-243 Greenfield-210
  12. Purple & Gold, I won't make any excuses, everyone knows Humboldt is not what it once was. The cities of Milan, Trenton and others are not having the same issues as Humboldt. Enrollment at Humboldt is at a ALL TIME Low! They are at 263, which will take some time to get used to. While Lake Co, Greenfield, Bradford and others are used to operating at these numbers, it's tough when each year the enrollment drops. It's so bad in Humboldt now that they are moving the 7th & 8th grade kids to the High School. Again, the issues in Humboldt are far beyond athletics. Again, not making excuses, just giving the State of the town right now.
  13. As I look at the signings that are taking place today, it's really a testament to the skill level of the young ladies in this area! Congrats to all of the signees!
  14. Hey Coach! Hope all is well! Will you be posting the schedule here or on your schools website? Thanks
  15. Kermit, no question Humboldt is down this yr, and maybe for the next couple of years, but how can you honestly say last yrs team was overrated? In both losses to UC, UC had to score with a minute or so left in the game in order to win!
  16. Proud of these two young ladies! Tn flight silver players getting looks from the Lady Vols staff! Below is a snipet from Inside Tennessee Sports: As far as the Class of 2018, an early name to watch for Lady Vol fans is Bexley Wallace, a 6-3 post from Pickering, Ohio. The state of Tennesee continues to churn out talent: Brinae Alexander of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro and Jordyn Cambridge, a point guard from the Ensworth School in Nashville, definitely are drawing the attention of the Lady Vols.
  17. Yea, you're right! Crazy athletic, I tried to get her to come up this way to play this past summer.
  18. GC, is Fields a Jr this year? She's a heck of a player!
  19. Congratulations to Brinae Alexander(Riverdale) & Jordyn Cambridge(Ensworth) for playing well and gaining the attention of the Lady Vols! Both play for TN Flight Silver! They have a very bright future and both are great in the classroom! The class of 2017 is shaping up nicely talent-wise, and several recruits definitely are on the Lady Vols' radar, including LaDazhia Williams, a 6-3 post from Bradenton, Florid: Sidney Cooks, a 6-4 forward from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Jade Williams, a forward from The Colony, Texas, who falls under the definition of "stretch four" in college parlance-someone who can play in the paint and face up on the perimeter. That is just three names on a watch list of 2017s that the Lady Vols are likely to eye closely. 20. I'm a Viking alum, but I've heard the Vikes have struggled this year. Not sure what Greenfield has, but based on what I've heard it will be a close one either way.
  21. I understand, but it's a lot going on in the boldt! Even something as simple as the band! When I was there(graduated in 87') we had large numbers compared to what's there now. Even the demographics of the school, it's just totally different. People moved to medina and other places, it's just not the same anymore. We used to be a legit AA school and in all honesty I'm really saddened by everything that's happened. It may be some tough days ahead, but I'm a Viking for life!
  22. No disrespect to Coach Bland, not saying this was a great move, but not sure getting beat by Milan will answer that question. Blands team got whipped by Milan as well! Looking back 9 seasons or so, last year looks to be the only win(if the past schedule info is correct). The whippings by Milan has been going on for a while.
  23. BigBoy10, sorry if I came off like that! No I didn't think you were being negative at all. Sorry if it came across that way.
