I don't post much, but I'll say this, Humboldt may not win the Gold ball(hadn't done so in over 30yrs, but just do some fact checking! They always have a strong team! Maybe not a championship team but year after year they are contenders! Nashville Christian is just getting on the map! Have you even seen them play? I would say probably not, but you're always downing the team. Just chill! If Nashville Christian is all that, then you'll be holding up the Class A Gold Ball! You don't have to put down other teams, to make your team look good!

Again not being disrespectful to players and parents, but there are 29 kids on the team, including 8th & 9th graders who don't even see the field. There are about 4-5 players on the team(not trying to down anyone), the other starters probably would not see action in their zone school! So I just wish people would quit trying to act like there is a team full of studs that all of a sudden showed up at LCA! It's far from the case! Come to a game and you will see!

Well K1212, here's the problem. All of this is coming up because LCA beat a TSSAA team! But what's funny is and I'm not trying to disrespect the players and parents, but the fact of the matter is, there are only about 4-5 guys on them team that would even see the field if they would have gone to their zoned school! And I know for a fact that at least 3 of them have no issues whatsoever in the classroom!(don't know the other 1 personally) It's just the kids are taking advantage of someone giving them an opportunity, that they didn't get at their zoned school! And you could be correct that a player is playing that shouldn't, but I do know it happens and is happening in the public schools. My kid goes there and it's the best move we could have ever made. Great teacher to student ratio, and get's an opportunity to learn more about Jesus! So it's a win win situation! At the zone school, not given much of an opportunity, but now since she's given an opportunity to get on the floor, now there's interest from colleges.

Have no idea why administration would not allow your band to come? LC doesnt have a band, but thats not a good reason! I have no idea!

Have no idea, I'm just a parent, not in administration! But the bottom line is we have players that start on LCA, that have never played football! If you were at the game, you would've been able to see that! Of course the QB, WR are players! And those players that you speak of (which it's only a few) would most definitely be eligible! The school has only been around about 10 years and just now getting to 100+ high school students! People come there for different reasons! Some come there for an opportunity to learn in a smaller environment (than the 7AAA) schools around here. Some come for an opportunity to get on the field or court(in my kids case). Not arguing with you, just letting you know the real deal. Again, you guys have a good football team and really nice fans! I talked with alot of your fans last nite! Very classy fans! You are right! Will play anybody, we have the west tn teams on the schedule(also played a thanksgiving tourney at Memphis Ridgeway). We play Nashville Glencliff and Nashville overton and then Cookeville! Would not look good(in certain peoples eyes in Rutherford co) to lose to a small school like this!

Not sure what your definition of wayward is, but if it's what I think your trying to say, YOU ARE WRONG! My kid went to the same school your kid did has a 3.5 gpa! Not once has ever been in trouble, but here there is an opportunity to play, and that's what we went with! An opportunity to play! Nothing more, nothing less! Thanks

Ok wingman, I was not trying to make excuses, I gave props to Clarkrange! But if you were at the game, you would have clearly seen our starting small forward(#11) get hurt early in the 1st quarter and limped the rest of the game! I said that because the injury prevented us from putting pressure on the ball. #11 is always at the top of the press causing havic, but couldnt do it last night! Again Clarkrange is a very good team!

It was a really good game! Clarkrange is a good team! Patient on offense, took time off the clock. Blackman did'nt play their best game, but we are happy to get the win! After tomorrow, have to get ready for district games.
