  1. What? Which QB? Well Reed hasn't been playing so well anyway if it was him so not too much of a drop off... except he's a fairly good runner. The internet feed is back up btw.
  2. Figures - the other score was a punt return for a TD. I knew that wasn't Ooltewah's defense. 14-7 now.
  3. Don't you mean 14-0? Was just reported in... I knew it had to be something with the offense because you don't score 14 points that quite against Ooltewah's defense.
  4. It is supposed to be broadcasted. It's advertised.. they had about 3 minutes of pre-game stuff.. went to commercial and hasn't come back since.
  5. Way to go wazoosports.com! Their feed stopped working after 2-3 minutes..
  6. You're right - Jacquez Smith, Seamster, and Gino Norwood are just pale in comparison to other school's athletes right? What were some of Seamster's track times again? You also won't find anyone else in the state with the speed and size Jacquez has for his class. And that's just three. Each of these guys are talented, but also really good athletes.
  7. I hope this Boski guy isn't honestly serious. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  8. I think Jacquez just gets most of the attention - he was a stud last year as well... so people are well aware of what he can do. I didn't even know about Que Jackson (sorry may have gotten his name wrong) before the White's Creek game. Jacquez didn't make as much of an impact in this game as the McMinn one - didn't really pay attention to see if he was just getting double teamed or was just off... but literally EVERY play he was in the McMinn backfield. The guy is a freak. He should be at UT in two years. I just got back to the Florida game and this is the second game in a row he's been down in the recruits section in the green seats. I'd say he's going to be up there soon.
  9. When DIDN'T Ooltewah start inside WB territory? Maybe once off a punt? I mean seriously... We didn't even start off in our own territory on a kickoff. I don't care what the stats were - WB had a worse offense than us (didn't think that was possible). All WB did was keep everyone in the box since Benny wouldn't call any throwing plays after seeing how bad Reed was struggling. It doesn't take a good team to put 9 in the box and stop the run. Any half decent offense would have scored 60 with the opportunities and field position we had is what I'm saying. I'm not saying Ooltewah dominated so much that it should have been 60-7... but they clearly could have with all the help from the WB offense they were getting - that's probably the way I should have worded it. It would also help if the refs hadn't called back 5 TDs over the past 2 games.
  10. 37-7 final. WB is lucky it wasn't 60-7... Ooltewah's QB is really struggling atm - not sure if he even completed 3 passes so they just went to the run the whole time and it was semi-stopped at times. Seemed like Ooltewah started in WB territory all but twice maybe.
  11. I just think Ooltewah is just a much better team than most realize. This team has more talent than the 13-1 team... the offense just needs to get it together (passing game).. the defense is already there and probably better front 4 and secondary.. LBs not as great.. but still good.
  12. Never said he wasn't good - was just laughable that the special teams was supposed to put McMinn over the top in this game according to some. And #36, Smith, is a 4-star prospect and is headed to the SEC more than likely.. will be surprised if he's not up to 5-stars by his senior year.. he's a beast so there was nothing your team could have done.. physically he's one of the fastest + strongest guys I've seen.. he's plain ripped.
  13. Game. 31-14 Ooltewah.... McMinn gets two TDs against the 3rd stringers to try to make themselves look respectable by keeping the 1st teamers in. Jac. Smith better be recruited by every SEC school that likes winning. So yeah - this game was so close I started to sweat. Good game though - McMinn's QB can make some nice plays avoiding pressure and then finding a guy downfield. So much for that stellar kicking game giving McMinn the edge.
  14. 24-0... first half.. McMinn is lucky it isn't worse.
  15. McMinn is just trying to make it dramatic and come back from way behind right?
  16. Or maybe an Ooltewah grad. Sorry, was in a rush and left the 'y' off classy. Fact is Ooltewah has been helping McMinn stay close in this series recently. They're a much better team this year and won't give McMinn that opportunity. So keep drinking all that koolaid - won't help your team tonight.
  17. This game will be close..... wait for it... for a half - keep telling yourself that - and way to be classy, buddy.
  18. There a highlight of that somewhere on the net? I know it was the game of the week for something.. but haven't had any luck..
  19. Yeah - it was a pretty stupid reason.. and pretty stupid actions on their parts. But some people are taking this way.. waay too far, including the police... seriously.. failure to leave school campus when told? Please continue on with your job and worry about 'real crimes.'
  20. The gun was a rumor. And that's all it probably was - a false rumor. Security - and a few assisstant principals dealt with it, unlike at Ridgeland.
  21. It's not dumb. I'm closer to the facts that most people are. These charges are jokes - especially failure to leave the campus when directed. It was obvious they were pressured to charge them with atleast something since it was so late in the game. Why wait a over a month when you charge the two obvious people early on? I mean if you're going to put these kids in this misery atleast come up with a reasonable charge against them... The charge is just plain a waste of the courts time. We have bigger things to deal with rather than have the judge give the boys a moral talk and let them go. This charge is severe as some teenager rolling someone's yard or some kiddy prank. These guys aren't criminals.
  22. Jethro - The funny thing is... just recently some Ridgeland students came up to Ooltewah for some "payback" during their off week. There were rumors they had a gun. The cheerleaders had to be rushed away because they were apparently going to hurt them. And what happened? It was delt with immedietly and there was no problem. So really, it can be prevented. I'm not defending the players because it was wrong to go down there.. But at this point it is getting ridiculous. Only TWO of the students were charged with "Inciting TO riot." Not all of them. The rest (along with the two charged with "inciting to riot") were charged with "failure to leave school campus when asked" or something. What the heck are these charges? Are the police being forced to make up some last minute charges? What do they consider "inciting to riot"? There was no 'riot' but just trash talking. This happens all the time. These players should be punished for it - but not by the police. Failure to leave school campus when directed.... at this point the police must have felt pressured by whomever to charge these kids with Anything...especially being so late in the game. I don't know if it's just me but this charge is almost laughable. Asking to kick these players off the team is just too severe and the people asking it must have some personal issue with Ooltewah. And I know atleast one of the students charged with "failure to leave a school campus when directed" isn't planning on turning himself in at this point - but it could change. They can't arrest him unless he goes back into Georgia. If these charges aren't dropped (atleast the failure to leave campus charges), then I can't consider the police in north Georgia to be respectable or credible.
  23. I agree the QB isn't very effective and he is young - which isn't an acceptable excuse at this point in the game..a lot of young players contribute better than this guy.. but no reason to put him down like that. Too bad our senior QB quit the team... he had a bad effort his first game and loses the job.. but now look where we're at. He filled in decently last year when Woods was hurt so I think he could be back in it if he had stayed.
