OoLTEWAH freshmen beat a tough Marion co. JV team OWLS..16/warriors..6. Big game next week for a trip to championship.

Ooltewah freshmen play marion co.jv tonight.Does anybody know anything about them.,.I tried to pull up their web page,but couldn't get anything,except 4 guys trying to look big and some annoying music playing.just kidding

Freshmen could've played in this one and maybe even done something..,..heritige has no speed at all,they weren't that bad and they NEVER GAVE UP!!!!! They had some good plays called,but not enough time or talent to pull it off. Their fans were very up beat and polite,great group of people.

Honestly,I hope,we get up on the mounties and the owls start throwing the ball all over the field,if there's a turnover,comeback and throw it again and again,until OUR QB,either gets all that out of his system or,we start throwing short passes or something and,if we win by 21 pts,good,but throw it till,our QB's arm falls off,because,if he gets confidence,it could be addictive..,..then maybe our fans will get louder,EVERY TIME our team does something good!!,then maybe,he won't try so hard" NOT to MAKE a mistake",I probably went overboard,friday night..,..I'm guilty,if he hangs his head every time he messes up(if,he reads any of this stuff)..,..because,he shouldn't live or die on every play!! He's our guy for now,so,let's go OWLS,make a run starting friday!!!!

I know some of you think ,I'm crazy or to hard on our QB,but,it's gut check time for him.You go back and look at some of my previous posts,I back him,unmercifully!!!,some of you very people slammed him and I took up for him,but,some of you jumped on him,before he ever did anything.I gave him half a season,no improvement,yet..,..I see young man w/ all the tools to be good,but why has he not progressed?Knowing a offense has nothing to do w/physical ability....what,I mean by that is:He calls the play in the huddle,then can't make a play or a throw,IF he is trying to hard,somebody(coach or asst.)must find what makes this guy tick.I want him to do well,because,he is our qb,I'm not against him,just disappointed in his progression.I will not sit there and say nothing when,we do well and I will not shut up when we do bad,I lay more praise on this young man,this coaching staff,school and community than anyone on here!!! I get mad,one time and get slammed for it..,..I call it like I see it,I know the QB get's to much credit when they win and to much crap when they lose!!.,.cause I'm giving some now..,..but for the last time,.I WANT our QB TO DO WELL!!! We have the best coaches from Monroe,Gatewood...all the way down to Massey and WARE!!.,.best fans when ,we actually stand up and cheer,best kids,and great community support!!!! ,if we run the ball like we have been,we can stay in some ball games,but we have to be able to pass.I will not beat a dead horse,we won and that's all that matters,right now.Let's go get heritage.

here are some stats: offense ran 46 plays 400 yds total...30 rushing/for 351..,..passing 3/16 for 49yds,biggest pass play of the night 16 yd td to norwood. I want him to do well,because the owls could have a year like last year w/ a passing game!,but so far this isn't going to get it,done. I don't know what else to say,except I'm an old school,hard nose football fan,that knows the qb needs some tough love,and a good swift kick n the butt,and if that doesn't get his attention,well......option B,whatever that is!!

Did any of you see this game?if,you are o.k. w/ this then nothing will get threw to any of you!! Are you happy that he only threw ONE INT?,how many games does it take? we have played only one really good team,thus far and he hasn't done anything,..what none of you understand is "I WANT HIM TO DO,WELL!!!!',but,he is not a PASSING qb!!..,..coaches,better do something,run til you are blue in the face,because we have a stable of backs or just try another qb,if another qb is just as bad,then oh well,but try it.Sooner or later the team will lose faith and then,the owls are dead in the water. summer practice,scrimmages,after school practice,5 games and NO IMPROVEMENT!!!,show me improvement and I will shut up!!! Put up or shut up!!

I'm over the qb,it will not work out,he is tall enough ,strong enough, he is not mentally tough enough,period!!!! He panicks w/ simply rushes or any pressure at all,he won't step up,then he just throws it up for grabs,when there is no pressure and recvrs are open he can't hit 'em,I mean not even close,plain and simple he is not a passing qb,I don't care how far he can throw it in warm ups,it counts between the lines,he can't do it..,..bottom line,I want him to prove me wrong,but he will not!!!! IF,he is the best qb at Ooltewah,then so be it,I'll take it witha grain of salt,but until owl fans see them all,I'll question it the rest of the year..,..hopefully owls can run all over everybody on the schedule,and he will not have to throw,but we all know this will not happen..,.but I will not back off,the coaches get upset throw things,yell,get onto him,then 2 minutes later,baby him,they need to let him sit and soak it in longer than that,bench him for a series,to show him he's not the golden boy right now!!,because,if owls think he is going to take them to the promised land,they are crazy.I wish him well,hope he get's it together,love ooltewah football,but I'm a realist,it's not fair to the rest of the team.

yes,it's true..couple of persons of color,showed up said they had a gun,kids took off running,the police took care of it in a hurry,it was over and done with quick!!!!..,..now weather or not they actually had a gun don't know,but the police didn't play around w/ them at all to say the least. reportedly,they are going to get back at owls,by beating up cheerleaders was the rumor for last 2 weeks(cheer mom,told me,tonight)...about the game,all the owls looked good except the QB,he's terrible..2/13 maybe 25yds,one INT one td,gino norwood saved his rear,he rushed for one TD on a one foot qb sneek,which I thought was a bunch of bull,because MARSHALL took it the length of the feild,then our local idiot sneeks it in!!I have gave,him the benefit of the doubt from game one,but,with that said,OWLS need a change in the passing game big time,if we ran the option or veer or something,no big deal on passing,but we don't,we are in big trouble coming up against oak ridge,farragut..,..he's passes where all over the feild,the INT he through was right to 5 bradley players!!! I know he is young,but,I don't care anymore,I took up for him on several ocassions,not any more..,..student body started chatting for back up to come in!! POLK is a stud at backup running back for marshall,he had 2 tds,he made look easy. OWLS defense was awesome,OFFENSE was awesome(not the qb),anyway..,..hope owls get it together,OWL fans are hungary for big time football w/ so many weapons on offense!!
