Sorry!!! Truth is that Boyd will not beat SP, plain and simple. There is no way that Boyd's d will stop SP's run or pass. TOO MUCH SPEED on defense and offense. Boyd has two good running backs, but with that 3-5 defense, they wont have much running room to run. Boyd's line isn't that special. Oh yes they are big, but other than a couple of stretches, they didn't dominate at marion, and Sp's line is better and their skill positions are way better. Since Boyd beat marion by 1, I will say this one will end up a touchdown closer. 41-14.

This one should be a good one. Seq. beat cannon county on a last second field goal early in the year. They are probably the fourth place team in our region. After Tyner beats boyd there will be a three way tie for first with the warriors, rams and bucs. Cannon co has played the top teams in their region really really well. This should be an interesting matchup. Marion beat cannon at their place last year and so I will have to go with marion in this one 27-14.

Don't know about that really. I do remember just a couple of years ago fans were on vic and the boys pretty bad for losing in the first couple rounds of the playoffs. Then they demolish everyone and win the state and everyone forgets about it. You know, a stable full of talent makes a coaching staff look really really good, even they will tell you that!!

Don't think that they will need to be prepared to face the bucs either. Just another mercy game, I believe. They have two good backs, but their line is big and slow. They do have a stud linebacker though, but he can't be in on every tackle.

The pirates will get a chance with the scheduling changes to schedule someone other than muffins next year. They can't really help it now that their schedule is terrible because of the region, but next year the region will be much smaller and they can choose who they play, if anyone will play them!!

Seq generally plays well against Tyner, no matter how bad they are...............somehow. I can see the game being 28-14 or something like that.

Good news is that whitwells varsity did a pretty good job of not letting Marion's jv score too much..............bad news is they won't be able to stop SP's jv. Can SP bring their middle school team in to play? Well they would probably score a ton also!!!!!! 75-0

Great game guys! Definitely gaining momentum, getting stronger by the week. Whitwell should have waited on that spread a couple more weeks. That one point loss against boyd really looks better all the time with them beating red bank tonight. We should only have one game that is going to be tough and that is York. Seq just beat whitwell by three touchdowns so I don't see them being much of a problem, but you never know.

Actually the talent at that time was probably the best it had been since the last championship days(96-07). Springs was a very very good running back and they had some size along the line and athletes on the field. Tim is a good man and will do good at whitwell though. Warriors will win, but it won't be a blow out that most expect 27-7. This is too big of a rivalry.

Don't think it will be quite that bad. It is a rival game and the mighty Indians just beat them by three touchdowns, and they are going to the semis, remember?? I say it will either be 27-6 or 34-13

Great win last night Marion!!! I was out of town and kept calling for updates, and it was funny listening to the radio in chattanooga they kept asking if that was a wrong score on the game. If they are going to play like that, maybe I need to miss every week(lol). Anyone know when the replay will be on cable?? The south pitt fans are congratulatory, but most are sarcastic and sure to point out tyners mistakes. Know what? All teams make mistakes and that is part of the game. Paper says that marion turned it over on downs 4 times, 3 inside tyners 20 and 1 inside their 30. Marion had two clutch drives after they were down by two scores that were heart desire and determination and most of these sarcastic comments are sickining to me. Marion punted two times the entire game, outgained Tyner by 110 yards, turned the ball over three more times than tyner and all yall can talk about were tyners mistakes??? I sure hope the pirates win the state again, but I hope the rams take the pirates to the woodshed next week!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is Mr. ZONIE at??? Don't mouth off if you don't know the facts, brainiac!! We did once own Tyner the way they have owned us lately. WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the early nineties, with tyner having the same type of athletes they have now, Marion always used to spank the rams, I think giving them their worst loss in school history in 95, 61-0. For the first five or six years, it was all Marion and since then it has been all ram train.
