  1. Hey Milan Yall might as well tell Coach Morris and his puny little nothin Bulldogs to just not go at all. I mean Alcoa is good enough to beat anyone in the state. I mean come on they are goin for their 5th consecutive gold ball, there ain't a single team in the state who can even compete with the Tornadoes /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" . All I can say is Yes Alcoa is very, very good, but they are beatable. I think a bunch of us know Milan is the Underdog and they aren't anywhere near favored to win, but hey Alcoa is UNBEATABLE. Some of the biggest upsets in history: 1. 1980 Olympics USA vs. Russia-Winner USA 2. Boxing Joe Walcott vs. Sugar Ray-Winner Joe Walcott 3. College Football Appalachain State vs. Michigan -Winner Appalachain 4. NFL Giants vs. Patriots in Superbowl XLII-Winner New York Giants and finally last on my list 5. High School Football Huntingdon vs. David Lipscomb in 2a State Championship of 2003-Winner Huntingdon Mustangs All of these teams were heavily favored to lose, but they pulled off the Impossible or Improbable. If these teams can do it, then by God Milan Bulldogs can beat Alcoa. Last words LET'S GO BULLDOGS!!!! TAKE IT TO'EM BOYS!!! BE THE HAMMER NOT THE NAIL!!!!!
  2. First I would to THANK and Congratulate Milan. I have never been so happy to see Goodpasture lose, still some some bad taste in my mouth from last season. Secondly, I'm glad a team other Goodpasture has a chance to play against Alcoa in the State Championship I was tired of seein them lose that bad three times is enough. Congrats again to Milan for returning to Glory, first time since 99. Go get that gold ball Dawgs.
  3. We all know if we look Gold Balls in either teams collections Alcoa wins with 8, Milan with 4. We all know Alcoa is obviously one of the best teams in the state, cause they are more than able to play with 4A's Poster team Maryville. Alcoa probably does have more athletes, but I can promise you Milan will have their fair share of Athletes as well. I look for Coach Morris and Co., and crew of bUlldogs to have all of his players more than ready for this game. Alcoa has been to state 4 times this decade, Milan hasn't been once so I bet they're pretty hungry. I expect this game to be similar to Alcoa's 2005 matchup when they met the Huntingdon Mustangs. Although Alcoa won by two TD's this was the closest score against Alcoa in a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. The Goodpasture Cougars had three chance and failed everytime. Now I think Milan will give Alcoa all they want by the end of the game, but I know Alcoa is gonna give Milan all they want and more. Predictions in this thread is useless, Alcoa wins, BUT Milan will leave the Boro gaining A LOT of respect from Alcoa's TEAM In my opinion. Last Thing Alcoa's may be "TOO HYPE," but Bulldogs are mean so I bet Alcoa's Tornadoes get BIT HARD!! GO DAWGS!!! BRING THAT BALL BACK WEST BABY!!!!
  4. The only team thats goona come even as close or closer to beating Alcoa is goin to be the Milan Bulldogs. I look for them to be the toughest or second toughest team that Alcoa has played this year and in a while.
  5. lol it better be good seats ha ha. I like to be in the action
  6. Well first off let me, Redneck i agree. Camden Wavo, should be there. SC not so much but I could be wrong. I think this gonna be the toughest IN REGION GAMES the Lions have seen since probably 03-05,06. I also think Coach Ward will have my LIONS in roarin shape come season time, and I think that Camden will wanna hold onto that Bridge just a weee bit longer /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />, ok I won't lie I hope we have it for at least a decade(ya know to increase our streak lol) but it won't happen. I sure do hate that we're gonna have so many middle TN teams though since I live an hour west of good ole' Camden now.
  7. Well after lasts week's game I had to get on this thread. Fairview is a good team, but i don't think they have athletes to beat CPA. Fairview beat a decent Camden team by a TD, and it was basically by two players. I mean no disprespect to Fairview, but I think after seein them play Camden that CPA will beat them fairly easily. I just think CPA will have too many athletes for Fairveiw, but I will say that the Jackets play hard to whole and didn't really seem to tired by the 4th quarter. So with my last statement, sorry Fairview I hope yall are anble to pull off this game, but ultimately I beleive CPA wins by two td's. Good luck to both teams, and lastly GO YELLOW JACKETS!!!! from a CAMDEN fan.
  8. Well Milan fans, think yall will have enough room for a Camden fan to squeeze in somewhere at ole' Johnnie Hale?? lol
  9. Man I gotta say after seein him kick last year I would have never thought he'd be inthis position. However, this year he turned it on, and was a more than reliable player right up until that horrible night last week. Anyway DANNY KIM, Congrats you had some big shoes to fill and you did more than admirable. Congrats again Danny, and I hope ypu get it. LP your right by the way Coach Ward and staff has done an AMAZING JOB. For them to do what they have accomplished in just 6 years is quite remarkable, and I truly beleive that as long as we have the Warden in the lead, we'll continue to win and be recognized as a Good team. So Thanks Coach Ward, and Co. for all yall have done. With all that said, GOOD LUCK DANNY K!!!
  10. I personally don't think a new coach will help the Lions. In the past three years they've had three new coaches. I don't have a clue what is goin on over there, but I think a bunch of it stems from having a lack of player dedication, I COULD BE WRONG cause I am not associated with them but I went to watch them play a few games. They just seem to be miles and miles behind any other teams when it comes to having natural athletes, and decent players. Best of Luck to whatever they decide to do though.
  11. Hey Fairview can KEEP THEIR X-FACTOR, I WANT COACH WARD & CO. I think Coach Ward as a Head Coach is one of the best in the STATE, and I also beleive that Coach Ward and his coaching staff IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE STATE at any level 1a, 2a, etc. etc. Ward played for one of the most PROLIFIC coches in the state, and definately the most prolific coach in West TN history in the form of Coach John Tucker, and I think we all know what kind of program he ran. So go ahead Keep your Butler, cause We Got The Warden.
  12. Hey Camden has some of the best coaches around. They were simply goin with their bread and butter plays that they've had all year. THAT DOESN'T MEAN I AGREED WITH THE CALLS, but they were doin what had worked all year. I think if the coaches had Gaskin air it out more then the game would have been totally different cause IDK what D fairview was in but they HAD 9 GUYS IN THE BOX ALL NIGHT. I would have been running a lot of Twins, motioning the Tight end over to create an end over or Overload set. When we did this we would usually have the Split man running a post or fade something deep, the Slot man would run either an out or a dig, and the Tight End would run a flat route like an arrow or something, and it usually got us GOOD YARDAGE. But I'm not the coach, so until I do become a coach my thoughts are useless, and therefore until that day comes I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT COACH WARD and OUR OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR COACH BLOW, and all the other Coaches at Camden.
  13. I know Camden is goin to 3a ball next year, is Wavo goin with them?? Either way Camden will continue their current streak and increase it again.
  14. Milan continues their winning ways and advances to the Quarters. They are still VERY VERY good. Sorry Westview time to play Basketball. Milan this Camden Lion fan is now gonna have to represent Purple as bad as I hate to lol /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />, just kiddin bout the last part. I should be at the rest of yall's games all the way up to the Boro as well.
  15. Well I'm, late, but first off let me say FAIRVIEW WOW. Yall are some great people, and your players are some of the classiest around. I really have a diferent view now, when one of your players had already organized a prayer session after the game with both teams no matter what win, lose, or draw I thought that was GREAT PURELY INSPIRING. Secondly, both of these teams played a great game and no one can down talk these boys that played friday. Fairview shocked me in the veer, but they ran it like is was supposed to, and thier D is stiff as well. Yellow Jackets yall are now right behind Milan for teams to support this post season. Congrats Jackets on a well played game, now go out and continue to play hard and advance. Remember to work hard evey week to give yourself the oppurtunity to win. Good luck I'll be keepin up with yall. Now to the saddest part, CAMDEN SENIORS: Thank yall for the WONDERFUL past few months. I am proudly able to say I played with yall seniors, and I truly loved watchin yall this season. Yall went out every week and did yalls thing, Hold your heads high you continued the tradition, and have left Camden as REGION CHAMPS (ONLY THE 3rd CLASS IN CAMDEN HISTORY TO SO). I hope for only the best for yalls future, and I hopoe yall will continue playin ball if you can, and If you can't I hope you find happiness in whatever you do. Returning Lions go out during this offseason, and work hard to be able to get past the 1st round. We've been shy of the Quarters now for two years, and I think its bout time we reappeared. For those soon to be seniors step up and be leaders take control of the young guys and show them how to play, and how to truly be a Lion. Last thing before I go Once a Lion Always a Lion so, LION PRIDE!!
  16. Everybody call your coaches tell them to go HOME cause Alcoa is 100,000% garaunteed to win state. Wow, i guess thre's no since in playin the state game just play up until the semi's and give the winner in the West thier Silver ball, and Give ALCOA their Gold ball now. Hey I don't care who Alcoa plays, will Alcoa beat any 2a team in the state PROBABLY, but there is always the chance that some team could COULD PULL OFF THE IMPOSSIBLE. Not tryin to show disrespect to the Tornadoes, cause I won't lie I would love to be able to say Hey, I have Four Championsip Rings, and Four Gold Balls, Now try and beat me if you think you can. I plyed for Camden the closet I ever came to playin for a ring was the Quarter-Finals, but if someone told me I was gonna lose 100% for sure, I'd still go out and try to prove them wrong. That bein said Good LUck, Milan, Usj, Camden, Huntingdon, SC, GP, CPA, Tyner, and ANYONE ELSE WHO might be able to UNSEAT THE GOD LIKE Tornadoes of Alcoa.
  17. Ha ha you maybe right cause if memory serves me right we gotta go through Fairveiw, then the winner of Hickman Co./CPA, then the winner of LC/GP, so we got a tough road ahead. We can do it though, boy sure would love to a rematch of the puppy dogs of Milan (just kiddin I have a lot of respect for Morris and Co., and Coleman, and Jabronski, and J. W. and the list goes on) vs. THE LIONS of Camden. Would be a great game this time around I think.
  18. BLACK & GOLD BABY all the way. I'm probably one of the proudest CAMDEN LIONS FANS EVER, so I'll stick with my boys. I won't lie, I'm tired of hearing about Alcoa this, Alcoa that, and I mean no disrespect. The Tornadoes are playin for the 5th CONSECUTIVE STATE TITLE, and yeah they maybe "TOO HYPE" whatever that means, but Good Lord give me a break its worse than havin to listen about the 2007 Nearly Undefeated Pats of New England. It GEtS OLD.
  19. Dude i dont know who you are but you need to leave the boys alone, stop hidin behin your screen name, and SHUT UP. You wanna trash talk Camden well IDK where your from, but it aint Camden( and if it is I hope someone finds out and whoops the dog crap outta you), and it aint waverly cause you dog them too. My guess is you PROBABLY got your butt handed to you on the field so now your sittin at home hatin on two good teams cause your team stinks. Well I reckon life stinks for you, now go find another thread to annoy.
  20. SC yall might wanna reconsider the whole Pre-game Antics not tryin to be mean, but GP NEEDS NO MORE ANTAGONIZIN. After receivin one butt whoopin from them, and then watchin one I can tell you they will be ready to force feed you a mouthful of butt whoopin all night. THese boys are gonna be some of the strongest, fastest, most fundamentally sound teams, you have seen all year. You might as well forget completely stoppin thier O cause they are goin to score, the best you can hope for is slowin it down. When you play GP your best D is your O. Keep their O off the field with GREAT clock management, then when they do have the ball on O YOU CANNOT GIVE UP LONG YARDAGE PLAYS. Make them drive the entire length of the field, tire them big boys up down, make them have to fight for every yard. THis is EXTREMEMLY hard to do for 4 full quarters though, but best of luck to Yall SC Rebels, from Camden. My Pick is GP though, by 3 td's or more.
  21. Yall have put me in quite a predicament lol. I think LC is one of the classiest teams and counties around, I have a lot of respect for yall. Waverly is in my Favorite Region, region 7 so the question who do I root for?? LC I think yall will win decently 2 TD's or so. Waverly if yall go out and play against LC like yall played my boys, THE Camden Lions, yall will put yourselves in a GREAT POSTION to win and advance. IF yall come out flat, winded, or anything else that could lead to a potential loss, get ready for a long long night. With all that being said GOOOO WAAAAVVVVVOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Go take a HUGE BITE OUT OF THOSE PANTHERS' PRIDE!!! Sorry LC gotta stay with my region, maybe we'll see a little LC Camden action, at Wright Field, How does that sound lol.
  22. Appreciate the love from Mckenzie, I hope the score is that pretty lol. I think it will be tough game, but my boys will pull it out.
  23. Sorry you dogged my boys, now its my turn. Final score 42-21 Camden wins, sorry I forgot losing by 3 TD's is a close game these days /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=". Good luck in the playoffs sir.
  24. Coach Kevin Ward has my vote boys and girls. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  25. Well yall, I think we finally found somethin we alll ccan agree on. Its that time again where we put aside our rival hatreds, and begin to BOND together as REGION. Every team, every fan, every player needs to encourge each other so we can finally show them boys over in Region 5 who can really play ball. Good luck to every team, go out and take care of business. Seniors, No matter what play every play till that whistle blows, and play your hardest no matter who yall play or how long yall last in the playoffs. I can honestly say that losing 55-28 on your FINAL career game is not the last memory you want to have of this great sport. Step up and be the leaders your coaches have wanted you to be all season, and make a way to succeed. Underclassmen, your seniors have played their hearts out for you all season, now this is your time to repay them. Go out and play like its gonna be your last career game as well, and yall will be able to give yourself a chance to win. Win or lose, LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FIELD. Life is about not having regrets, so LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD. I promise waking up saturday morning after your win or loss feels A LOT BETTER knowing YOU did everything you could to ALLOW YOUR TEAM to ADVANCE. Good Luck to all, I hope everyone has an injury free playoff season.
