  1. Classy post Craw! I agree this is about the 09 Rebels! Best of luck to The Blue Duece, the Saint, #1, #10 and the whole team! Hope you guys have a great year
  2. I was a senior parent and am NOW a former senior parent! And I have never gotten on here and blasted another parents kid so don't tell me to go easy on him! Believe me, no one wanted to see his (#1) succeed last year more than me! When you only have one year to get it done and you go 12-0 (Until the Greeneville Debacle) and account for 3000 yds and 33 TD's and still have comments being directed his way like the garbage he is spewing out is Ridiculous!
  3. Come on in Waco You are way more entertaining than some of the so called "South Fans" that still don't appreciate the QB they had last year. I guess if you can throw an ALL STATE QB under the bus to save your own ego then GO FOR IT Satch
  4. Hey, I bet that was really Bradley in disguise out there. Lord knows if anything goes wrong with South it has to be his fault According to Satch that is
  5. I went with Varsity Trophies in KPT. They do the DB plaques and did a great job. I asked you a while back if you wanted to look at it. If so let me know. Jim P may have a better avenue but I did not get to talk to him before I had this one done. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. I don't think think you watched the game if you think #4 lost it. However if he had I would still be proud of him. Doubt if your moma would be too proud of you for your trash talk though /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  7. I would like to congratulate BOTH teams on a hard fought game. Greeneville -GOOD LUCK!! against Maryville. THANKS REBELS for the great ride this year!! Just didn't want it to end this soon. Thanks to all of the Rebel players, coaches, parents and fans. My son had the un-enviable task of replacing a 3 year all-state QB. I had the misery of waiting to watch him show what he could do and listening to "wait till Phillips is gone and we will get you! I just want to say I am proud of the way he handled himself through it all. No matter what anybody says good or bad, I think his record this year speaks for itself. I love you #4. You made us proud!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. For the folks comin from colonial heights--You can take Exit 36 (Baileyton) goin South on I81. Left at the end of the exit ramp-11 miles to stopsign-take a right and go to first light-hang a left and you are at the stadium /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  9. Dont really understand how you consider #4 throwing the ball away to avoid a loss-a bad decision. The int was a good play by the defender coming from behind the receiver. The grounding call was justified but that is the chance you take-A huge loss or maybe the official don't call it. The only bad decision I saw was the flag thrown for holding to negate a 30+ yard TD run by #4. TH was holding all night and only once that I remember was a flag thrown. Regardless, great team win for the Rebels and if the DEFENSE continues to play like they did against the Vikes............Rebs will be hard to handle! Still looking for a piece of that Humble Pie that Cap was supposed to be giving away.....Think I saw compusatman giving him a piece after the game!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Go Rebels!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I heard Coach Carter has Pneumonia too!!
  11. I agree! Hey Lawnman-going to Pike County ?? Good luck and hope you get a bruiser!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. [Granted, we could play til the end of the 3rd Q but can you imagine what the numbers would be. We are taking so much heat the way it is now we can't get them out fast enough. And still people are saying we are running up the score. So yes, Bradley, KK, and Taylor's numbers would be untouchable in that regard. And where would the scouts be? On our doorstep? KK can catch anything you throw at him...period. Bradley's first year playing varsity QB and he increases ability 100 fold each game...period. And Fletch'...draw your own summation. The score would be triple digit each game thus far. The benefit...our bench is ready for the '09 season as we speak. All I can say is...it's all about the team Very good post! It is about the TEAM!! BD waited 2 years for his opportunity to shine and is making the most of it. Only playing two series in the second half of the last 4 games certainly hurts your stats but these guys have a much bigger picture on their mind. Go Rebels!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" And who are you?? Wally Cleaver????? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  14. Volman, you reckon many people heard of Chad Pennington comin out of High School? I do believe he is still playing on Sundays. Speakin of QB's-I saw a pretty good un on the field at Death Valley last night. Said he was in fer tha game from the land of Cheese! Had a big red W on his chest. Fine fellar that boy is. Gotta see his brother make a heck uv a play too! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. I am simmered Granny. Ma has the biscuts and gravy ready and it is a beautiful mornin up here on the mountain overlookin Death Valley. Some of these ole boys kinda reminded me of the "lipstick on a pig" comments ya know? Heck, I might even invite Ole Cap over for a cup of coffe and we can sit here on tha porch and watch the Stars and Bars a flappin in tha wind! Your Greene Devils showed a lot of Grit and Class last night. Hard fought game by both teams on a muggy night. Mr Greenway showed one of the classiest thangs that I have ever seen on the field of battle last night, helping a cramped up Rebel (TJ Blanken) stretch his leg after the play was over! He also came out of the locker room long after the battle was over with a couple of his infantrymen to pay his respects to our field general. Pure Class!!! Good luck to the Devils the rest of da way, I have a feelin we will be meetin again later on...... Rebel Nation /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. Apparently there are a lot of things you and your panel of football experts on here (Cap,Nellie,ect..) don't understand. a REAL MAN /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> would not come on a public forum and be in any way derogatory toward a 15-18 year old kid who has busted his hump year round to be the best he can be at the great game of football. Whether Bradley D, Kaleb K, Taylor F, or any other local player gets college attention from VA Tech or Podunk U, we should be glad for them. But you guys come on here like little spoiled brats that are jealous and looking to give your two cents worth! If you guys knew half as much as you think you do....You would be helping Ole Frank Beamer coach instead of spending all your time on Coach T!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  17. It was different watching this game because South was trying to do the things that they have been doing (especially in the air) and the results that I was expecting never materialized. Several batted balls, a few dropped passes didn't help an impressive debut by Davenport but reports of his greatness has been greatly exaggerateed. I thought Phillips was a D-1 athlete but not a qb and I hope I'm proven wrong butI know Davenport is not a D-1 qb like he has been reported to be. Wow, I didn't know we had such a great judge of QB's on here. I bet you would have said Brett Farve wasn't D-1 if you had seen him play too, especially since his HS team rarely threw the ball. But you knew more than the D1 coaches that were after Curt and now you know more than the schools that have contacted Bradley. I bet you know how many times he checked off at the line against the Toppers defense to make a succesful play too! You must be the same guy that threw the flag on that ridiculous block in the back call that nullified a great 39 yd TD run by BD. Thanks for the insight-Proffesor QB!!! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  18. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Good Post! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. Comp, I think the ball will be spread around when there are guys getting open to catch it. So far I have not seen anyone other than KK or Fletcher coming out of the backfield really getting some seperation. In the past few years we have had several good receivers and a couple of "Senior Suprises". Henry Ringley and Seth Johnson only playing their senior seasons and looking like 4 year veterans out there. We need a couple of guys to fill that role this year to take the double team away from KK. We certainly have some kids with that potential but they need to step it up quickly. By the way, has anyone seen Ellis???? I hear they have an APB out on him. We need him!!!!
  20. I can say with confidence that Stacey Carter will not hold anything against Jordan for being from DB. Graham Clark would not hold anything against a player from South either. They are both fine coaches that want to win and don't care what side of the tracks you are from. If you are a player, you will play. Jordan will do fine, he has 3 more years and many carries ahead of him. Taylor and Bobby will be a dynamic duo this year. You can never have enough good backs with the punishment they take. Go Rebs!!
  21. Comp, you have missed your calling. You should have been a fiction writer of novels covering the wars in the days of gladiators. Love your descriptive style! Bradley is indeed more of a man than I would have been to wait patiently behind a great player and person in Curt Phillips. The Rebels will have plenty of firepower next season, and if the work ethic of this group of kids is an indicator----Plenty of wins!! Rebel Nation!!
  22. South player Chris Collins had blood on his arm and was told by one of the refs to get off the field. The ref blew the whistle and started the play without telling Coach Carter so he could substitute. This on top of a blown interference call just earlier... Lit the fuse.
