  1. I can cannot find the other thread can someone link me there?
  2. The sky high Wildcats are coming off the mountain to a play a Tiger Team that has to be hurting after another loss on the Creekbank. I hope the tigers can get things turned around or it is going to be tough 3 weeks for the boys in blue. I know the players and coaches for Gordonsville know how big this game is, and I feel they will play like it. No matter how bad that loss Friday night was and lets be honest it was bad the tigers still have alot of talent and thier destiny in thier own hands. I feel that Monterey is a very good team. (They beat the mighty commanders after all!!!) /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> However, They might be catching GVILLE at a very bad time. ( Just like last year ). I hope that the tigers can bounce back and get ready for a tough stretch that started off on the wrong foot last week. Anyone that knows anything about 1A FOOTBALL KNOWS REGION 4 IS THE STRONGEST OUT THERE. Now look at the stretch the tigers have to endure. at TC, vs Monterey, at FC, at H2Otown, and they come home to face a vastly improved Clay Co. team week 10 How many teams in 1A can say thier schedule is that tough the last 5 weeks. Sure the tigers are beat up and could call it a season, but if know one thing about GVILLE fb they will not fold up the tent and go home without a trip to the postseason. That being said good luck to a Monterey team coming to TURNEY FORD FEILD Friday night, because they are going to need it!! Tigers by 3tds
  3. WOW!!!! I have never heard anyone from RBS speak about fb with such pride. It is truly amazing. I feel for those kids from RBS. Being a fellow member of region 4A I have seen them play my tigers over the years and even played against them in the old days. It has to be tuff for those kids. I know they work hard every week and give all they have in thier games. My heart truly goes out to this group. Nothing easy in easy in our Region, and god bless those kids for giving thier hearts and souls every friday night . I wish they could get a win for those Seniors who have never won a game. I pull for RBS 9 times a yr. and I hope that someday we see the Bulldogs reach the playoffs. I am pulling for you tonight and maybe you will take down MJC. GOOD LUCK AND KEEPING WORKING HARD. THE RBS PLAYERS ARE AN INSPIRATION. THEY PLAY FOR THE LOVE NOT THE RESULTS AND THAT IS WHAT HIGH SCHOOL FB IS ALL ABOUT.
  4. It is great to hear that the Jr Tigers pulled out a big win at FC!!! I saw those kids earlier in the yr and it seems Tiger FB will be in good hands over the next few yrs. Now on to the big one. I feel that this a great chance for the Tigers to get thier first big win at the creekbank in about 20 yrs. I have not been to the creekbank since the playoff game a fews yrs ago. i always look forward to this trip what a place for High school fb. In the past I have seen tiger team after tiger team fold up like a cheap suit down there, but NOT THIS YEAR. The Tigers might not win pretty but THEY WILL WIN THE GAME and you better believe I will be there to see it. I know the fans will be there and this will be the best atmosphere in TN. Friday night. I can not wait we are only 27 and half hours away. TIGERS 20 TC 14 GO BIG BLUE
  5. More prayers coming up from GVILLE. Young Brandon is a great kid with a very bright future. I hope nothing but the best for him and his family. Lets all hope that this is the last injury that we hear of this year.
  6. I AGREE WITH G2 ON THIS ONE. FB IS THE KING IN THESE 2 COUNTIES. I ALSO AGREE WITH SOME OF THE PREVIOUS POST ABOUT IT BEING COACHING AND TRADITION. BOB AND CLINT PLAYED FOR THE SCHOOLS THEY COACH, AND WERE PART OF BUILDING THE TRADITION AT THESE SCHOOLS. IN SCs CASE MAYNORD HAS BUILT THE TRADITION OF WINNING AT SC BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT BEFORE MAYNOR SC WAS JUST AN AVERAGE TEAM WHO WAS UP AND DOWN THROUGH THE YEARS NOW THEY ARE DOMINANT IN THIS AREA. I AM VERY PROUD TO BE FROM THIS AREA BECAUSE WHERE EVER YOU GO IN THIS GREAT STATE AND TALK FB PEOPLE KNOW GVILLE, SC, AND TC.
  7. " It was with a bad game plan from the start and not correcting it until the half" Hey MO$$$, I do not make a habit of writing to many comments on this site, but I have had about enough of you blaming the loss against SC on the coaches of Gville. I have known most of these guys all my life watching them play and coach the big blue for years. They are a product of Gville FB They know what it is like to play in the Blue and White and play on Coach Ford's Field. I do not agree with everything the coaches do at Gville, but I feel they do the best job they known how to do!! Like you said on the Sc page you told your son it is a team sport. It was just as much the players fault as the coaches fault period. I did not see from from my seat any of the coaches quit coaching, but I did see a number of Gville players quit in one of the biggest games of the year. I have seen some Gville teams take some beatings in my time, but before Two weeks ago i had never seen a group of GVILLE PLAYERS QUIT!!! Who are you the Bear Byrant of Gordonsville!! I am sure that the next game you coach will be your first. Why dont you continue to do what you do best{ Talk about Gville fb in a positive light continue to bring pub. to our players}, and leave the Coaching TO BOB DILLARD AND HIS STAFF. and if you cannot it sounds like you are at practice through the week maybe they will let you join the staff. Hopefully, then the tigers can start games alittle faster and not have to wait until halftime to get the plan straight. I am sure they have an extra headset or something. sorry to everyone that had to read that, I think the tigers get everything back on track on win a tough game against moland 27-21
  8. I will take the jackets in a close game at Robinson Field. I think the H2OTown Passing attack will keep it close. However, the creekbank king will not let his boys lose another game to the purple tigers.
  9. The Jackets lost on the Creekbank last year. Can Watertown Make it 2 in a row, or will the Trousdale show up at Robinson Stadium with a chip on thier shoulder? I got the Jackets in a tight game. From what i hear Watertown has a pretty good passing attack that might be able to put some points on the board against jacket defense.
  10. The Tigers will be fine!! They just ran into a team they would have had to play thier best against to beat, and they just did not show up. I will never understand why. They were physically dominated in every phase of the game. Thank god that the owls turned the ball over five times or it could have been really bad. Like I said before the TIGERS WILL BE FINE... The games that count start this week (even if its Red Boiling). It will not be long before the Tiger take thier trip to the creekbank. Then we will know what they have. If they do not show there. Then Tigertown will have something to worry about. As for you antwan. Let the scrimmage thing go anyone that knows anything about football knows scrimmages do not count for anything. No reason to beat a dead horse. I understand that all the TIger fans were talking about it, but you have to consider some of the sources.
