Hows the current Centennial team looking in the weight room?

How is the current Indy team looking in the weight room? Any 300 lb benches or 225 lb power cleans

Great season Franklin and congrats to these seniors on doing what they did. But at the end of the day 11-aaa is a weak district on a statewide basis and as a result hasn't had a team in the state tourney in 20 years.

How many bigs does Beech have that play, and how tall are they?

I think any 4 of the teams are very capable of winning. And if you played these games twice you might have a different winner in both games. However my pick is Franklin and Hunters Lane.

Agreed, and it's a shame that it reflects whether or not someone has a job. But the only disappointing thing that Henrie did while at Indy was getting upset two years ago with the squad led by Kuchar Luttrell and co. This year he did amazing things with the team he had, and as a result was probably the best coach in the district-all things considered. Will the assistant coach be taking over temporarily?

Has Coach Henrie decided if he will remain at Indy for the remainder of the school year?

Gilligan left Indy because he didn't produce the last season he was there. The graduating class of 07 combined with the 06 class that went to state should have easily done the same the year before. There was a great disappointment in what he didn't produce at Indy the last season he was there.

I agree. I am also surprised by this. I mean his team finished 2nd in the district this year. And 2 years ago they also finished second with an unbelievable record in something like 23-5. I don't agree with this decision but thats the way things go sometimes.

I think you'd be surprised how much more some of them know about the game as a whole. Not to mention they know a lot more about the game than the school adm. does. And you are right about your second statement those guys that graduated in 06 and 07 would have won any year with any coach. They were the best this region has put out to date( which includes the 02 BHS team that won it all with Austin Everson).

They ought to get ol TC Jennings, Daniel Becker, Garret Snoeyenbos. and some of them boy's input. Might not be a bad idea considering they all have a ring and are playing college ball and are smart both on the field and off.

I stand corrected it was both Kelly and Kuchar that won it two years ago. And Kelly will get a 3rd this year.

So based on tonight's games (by the way the Franklin game was great) the end of the season standings are: 1 Franklin 2 Indy 3 Brentwood

You couldn't be more wrong. Take Kelly out of the picture and they win 4 games.

And thats what you call being biased. I follow all three Franklin area teams (Franklin, Indy, and Centennial) equally and can hands down say after having watched every team in the district play at least once this year, and having watched both Kelly and Tiechman over the years, Kelly is by far superior over the rest for MVP of the district. And yes they did win that many games with him. McLemore didn't play this year due to the fact that he graduated in 2008. And Kelly won a ton of ball games for them last year too.
