Can someone tell me what happened in the final two minutes?

Yes, Coach Bobby is back as DC as he was during the finals run two years ago. The players were pumped when he and Coach Fetner (Defensive Line) were introduced at the same time it was anounced that KD was going to be the head coach. I think this is going to work. The players like and will play for Coach Dyson and there are going to be experienced people all around him. Those of you who spend most of your time in a dark cloud need to back off and give this a chance.

How did the scrimmage go? I think they scrimmage Page today at Page. 9 am.

"No I'm pretty sure Brentwood Academy (10 state championships), Montgomery Bell Academy (8 state championships), Battle Ground Academy (6 state championships), Riverdale (4 state championships and almost all coming in the last decade), and probably more have greater football tradition in middle Tennessee than the Gallatin Green Wave who have 3 state championships. This is not taking anything away from them but these other schools have better and more prestigious football tradition in middle tennessee." Your's is a very limited concept of "tradition". I've never been a Gallatin fan, but I remember the tremendous respect MBA's Tommy Owen had for the Green Wave program and the way the entire community supports them. Taking nothing away from the best out of seven to ten team state championships that the schools that give financial aid have been forced into or the single and double A championships, but Gallatin needs no asterisks next to their championships.

Gallatin may have the greatest football tradition in the history of middle Tennessee. They are well coached and encouraged by a community that has always shown tremendous support. They are playing a program that has won a region and earned a playoff berth for the first time. While the Indy Eagles are celebrating their accomplishments the Green Wave is still striving to add to a long list of program laurels. I don't think records or region standing will mean anything on Friday. This will turn into a close defensive struggle. Home field advantage may be the difference. Indy in a close one if they can get the smiles off their faces and refocus on the playoffs. Otherwise it'll be a very disappointing one and out for the Eagles.
