LOL...my boy is skilled...he can count to 8...and he's not even two. And he's my only child. I am just saying, you too have talked about certain players, and then you tell people to stop talking about the three headed monster. Just rubbed me the wrong way. We are 11-0, no need to argue. therealgame, I agree 100%. In the past, there were times I could have cared less if the band was even there. Horrible timing. The new guy has really got them going. I have noticed how he actually watches the games and plays the right songs at the right times.

Who knows? Three years ago there amazing, one of the loudest bands I've ever heard. Two years ago they didnt bring the band. Last year the band came, but they were nothing like they were three years ago. We'll just have to wait and see what they bring. I know I was not impressed last year.

Like you havent mentioned a certain player by name a few times. I will never forget "the best hands in highschool football" post. Every team has standout players, those three are ours. There is a reason they call it "skilled positions", these are the positions that will get more recognition no matter what team is being discussed, and no matter if it is positive or negative. You are obviously biased to #16, and that is fine. But your not upset that we have a "three-headed monster", your upset that he is not one of the three, and he is not being discussed like they are. Now...let the "talk about the 3 headed monster" resume.

You have good points as always TraderB. I am not defending a 5TD prediction by no means. But you have to understand, we have watched our guys blow through eleven games begging for someone to put up a good fight. After eleven weeks of beat downs, it is hard for these "perpetually exuberant fans" to imagine anything less. I mean weak region or whatever, no team has been has even been remotely close to HC. So I dont think they mean any disrespect, they just havent seen ANY team do ANYTHING to HC in ANY aspect of the game. I think HC will take this one, and I too think it will be clear who the better team is, however I dont think it will be 5TDs. But if I had told you 12 weeks ago that HC would mercy rule their first eleven opponents, you would probably also say we must be dreaming huh? Time will tell.

Trust me, Henry County doesnt want any "crown". They want a state championship by beating the best there is out there from where ever, and that includes Maryville even more so than others. Hope we both take care of business and provide one of the most anticipated Tennessee highschool football games in recent history. Good luck on your end.

Sorry Mike, but the starters came out somewhere in the third. As far as the "throwing deep" goes, how many 20+ yard runs did your team allow that night? You should be glad we were passing, but like I said it wouldnt have mattered, seeing as how you guys didnt stop either. Did you want us to punt on first down? Would that have been fair? I have never had a problem with you Mike, and I could care less about tape, we know how that worked out, but seriously, you think we ran the score up? It's just not true.

I think what people are trying to tell you is that you bring good conversation to this board with valid points. But that is often getting over looked by the rudeness of your disagreeing with others. I usually just read on here, and always have read your posts because I like to see what you have to say on different subjects, but I lately I have skipped over many over your posts because it's become a bunch of name calling. Plus some times you just have to "agree to disagree" and let it go. Come on Warrior, tone it down a bit. Plus I am still not so sure your not the Yanker trying to disguise his inner Patriot Pride that is overwhelming him by now.

Patsdoc, I heard we lost Martese Allen for atleast 4 weeks. Please say it aint so!

There is also more to it than that, he also has a 4.0 GPA. The schools recruiting him know he wont have any trouble with grades. There are many of these kids who get a full ride, and blow it due to grades or partying. I dont know him personally, but to be a dedicated, star athelete like he is and have a 4.0 GPA, he has to be a very disciplined individual. These schools know they are seeking a kid who will be there when it is all said and done. I dont know if things like that are figured in to Mr. Football, but his numbers considering he has only played half game thus far is simply amazing. I nominate Marsalis Teague, if you have any doubts, try to make it to a Henry County game.

I will never forget the NS game last year. That was one of the strangest games I have ever experienced. As long as the power doesnt go out, and HC stays focused on the task at hand, we should roll strong. I sure am glad that loooong Munford road game is over with.

No kidding. The first time I went to Melrose I thought some of the fans were real jerks, and guess what , they were. But I also noticed that for the most part, 95% probably, were just good ole, proud fans who showed hospitality to us. I didnt get on a message board and proclaim that I was abused and mistreated and ALL Melrose fans were jerks. You take the good with the bad, and EVERYWHERE has both. No apologies here either. You know I used to post here and there on CoachT, then this message board just became no fun, so I have just sat back and read lately. Everyone getting all bent out of shape over any and everything that is said. It's a massage board people, grow up. On a message board, there is no difference in a 12 year old and a coach of 30 years, you know why? Because for all anybody knows, it's just a 12 year old saying he was a coach for 30 years. This is not a stab at Red Warrior, just an example. I cant understand after reading HC threads this year, what makes someone think that their OPINION is so far superior to someone elses, that they get into this BS mudslinging contest, about who knows the least about football or who has no class. Liberty is a second half team, or so it seems. If score is close at the half, Liberty will most likely win. If Hardin doesnt stay on the gas for a full four quarters, then Liberty will most likely win. Most teams get down 2-3 TDs and you can see them sort of deflate, Liberty doesnt deflate due to being down. Should be a good game, that could go either way. I havent seen Hardin this year, so I cant speculate on them. But I would be suprised if this game was a blow out either way.

Brighton's opponents are 4-17. Not very impressive. It is still very early, but if HC plays every game like their last, They wont see comparable competition until 2-3 round of playoffs. I am not an arrogant Hc fan, but I have only missed 2 games in the past 7-8 years, and this team is like another poster stated "special". So long as they stay focused.

Heck of a job guys. Patriots were dominant and impressive in every aspect tonight. But I have to say I was amazed at our special teams tonight. THEY ABSOLUTELY BROUGHT IT, EACH AND EVERY TIME!!! No matter how good our offense has been the past few years, it seems we are always criticized for being "soft" and not "physical". That cant be said after tonight. Our boys LAID THE WOOD!!! I couldn't wait for kick-offs. And man that was lick on that wide receiver, I think it was Shonte that got him? Dont get complacent guys, You have 6 regular season games left, play all of them like you did tonight and the Sky's the limit.

Oh yeah baby!!! It's almost game time!!! This is my first time on this year. I glanced at some of the early post. There is only one I wanted to respond to. #34 being fatter and slower? I am 6'1, 250lbs. and have a 36in. waiste. I saw Dominique at good ole Wal-Mart about 3 weeks ago. The kid absolutely dwarfed me. He is freakin HUGE, and I would bet he has less than 2% body fat. He is 260 lbs. of pure muscle. You almost forget that underneath it all is just a 17 year old kid. He has worked hard this offseason and it shows. Best of luck to him and all our guys this year.
