  1. http://www.wmufradio.com there will be a link for the game. Look for the Patriot logo.
  2. While I couldnt be everywhere at the game last year, I only saw one incident where the parent of a former player had words (making a total fool of himself) with the concessions guys on his way out. Other than that, I think both teams and fans were nothing short of world class. I am sorry you feel that way. I choose to remember all the positives of an amazing game where my team come up just short. I actually hate to see Hillsboro fall like they have. I would have loved a rematch.
  3. It's almost as bad as the 20 different threads on how to fix the classification system. Most of them are by the same guy. Do they give out awards for starting the most threads? LOL, I hear ya! I noticed that also. It's like another thought hits him and instead of adding it to one of his previous 7 threads, he has to start a new one.
  4. I hate these posts. It's every year after the last game, somebody always feels like they were wronged, and that coachT MUST be the proper avenue to vent. WRONG! "Save the drama, for yo mama!" Nobody cares, most of the ones still here, are far more concerned with PLAYOFFS, rather than if you and your boy are happy with your program. Great 2nd post!
  5. I havent heard "compound" either. But I have talked to a few who were on the field, and they have all said it was a HORRIBLE break.

  7. The only rumor I've heard about Hank and game balls, is that it will NEVER happen again. I believe that was a one time thing.
  8. Prayers to Haley. This is a HUGE loss. He is our #1 receiver, #2 DB (when Shonte is on the field, #1 when he is not), sure handed punt returner, and maybe one the most important and overlooked positions, he is our holder on point afters and field goals. Some guys are really going to have to step up it up to make up for this loss. Haley RARELY came off the field. I really hate it for him, get well bud, you will be greatly missed.
  9. you and i must have been watching different games. we held dickson to negative 7 rushing yards in the first half. I wouldn't blame the refs for that. The only series dickson looked to threaten us was that one drive after montevaious broke free for that 59 yard td run, i also wouldn't blame the refs for that. but yea, that one drive they marched right down the field, other than that, you guys couldn't get anything going against our defense other than a few passes here and there, yea it's obviously the refs fault that our defense played lights out for the most part last night. also don't blame the refs for lennies mcferren's 3 td runs, all of which were over 10 yards. don't blame the refs for klingenberg's two field goal makes either. face it, you guys simply got beat all the way around last night. and IMO, seems to me that toward the end there, the refs started playing in your favor a little bit. we stopped you short on a fourth down play, but you guys got an incredible spot. we probably would've taken it into the endzone again if not for that call. plus, the first touchdown you guys got was because of a penalty. i wouldn't blame the refs for anything if i were you, just be glad the score was as close as it was. but good luck to dc next week. EXACTLY what I was thinking. The penalty on 4th down, and the spot on 4th down. I would say the zebras were in your favor if anything!
  10. "should have won"? You didnt lose by missing an extra point or a field goa in the 4th quarterl. You didnt even lose because you gave up a late TD to lose the lead. You lost 34-14! How in the world can you say "should have won"? No oyu shouldnt have! MAN UP utfan2, and give Brighton thier due respect. They whipped your Tigers, now deal with it. "should have won", what a crock!
  11. I was in no way using Saturday as an excuse. I was thinking on a personal level. I look forward to a game all day at work on Fridays, I really wanted tro watch the Florida/LSU game along with some other college games, and a few other PERSONAL reasons including there is just something about "Friday Night Lights". It just didnt feel the same from a spectator sense. As far as the actual game, I agree, it shouldnt make any difference, WE WERE BEAT HANDS DOWN, no matter what day of the week it was. A very good win to a very deserving CHS team. Like I said, my hats off to them. They got the job done.
  12. Who are you saying was flat? You confuse me. I can't imagine coaches being flat. The fans weren't flat. Were the managers flat? I think the players were overconfident and it got us beat. Thank goodness the loss didn't cost us the district lead, at least I don't think it did. Call it "flat" or whatever, but we had an off night. Coaches and players alike. We lost. This was one of those games that leaves you scratching your head. I agree with you on the overconfident statement. Just a strange game. BTW, it should be a crime to play a HS game on a Saturday night.
  13. I didn't go to the game but I listened on the radio this time. Gaddis took the blame for the defeat. He said that he obviously didn't have them as prepared as he should have. Most coaches blame the players for a loss. What more do you want him to say? I doubt he told them to fumble, and I doubt he told them to drop a pass wide open in the end zone. Either way, he said that the slow starts finally caught up with them. I doubt he really is to blame for the defeat, but good coaches try to deflect the blame from the players, and take it themselves. I dont want him to say anything more. I agree with him completely. YOU can put the blame on the player (which you have) who dropped the pass in the endzone, who also happens to be the same player who lost a fumble, that led to a CHS touchdown. But HC still had opportunities, several opportunities to win after the fact. I stand by my statement, HC was flat as a WHOLE. That's MY opinion, not yours.
  14. Hats off to CHS. Gaddis can say it serves the team right, but it the players werent the only ones "flat" tonight. I will leave it at that. I hope we meet you in the playoffs, CHS.
  15. I agree prophet. Every year, when we are 7-0 or 6-1, people want changes. Just makes me laugh. Gaddis and company will game plan effectively and will call plays and formations based ont who we have on the field and what the other team is doing. I trust them to do what is best for us to win.
  16. We will fill up the all of the visitors side and probably half of the home side. That's how we roll.
  17. I also thougth Springfield showed alot of potential. Didnt they beat NE? If there were close enought to NE to win teh game in any manner, then I would think they are more than worthy to hit the same field as our Patriots.
  18. Haha...gotta love kwc always keeping Memphis in the mix. Man I hope we meet up with Melrose in the playoffs. By FAR, my favorite game each of the last 4 years, even the 1 we lost.
  19. I thought the same thing when I read his comment about Shonte and the I. We just put the I in a couple games ago, and only ran it a handfull of times with Shonte. Man, how I love seeing the I, and running it down peoples throat. Dont get me wrong, I love the spread too, but the I, you gotta love it when you man up, man against man, and move the ball at will.
  20. This is about TEAM! Not Shonte, not Jay. Gaddis has already made his decision as to who the starter is before the season began. When Shonte is healthy, he will be the starter. Period. 2-3 or more new posters emerge in a forum, all STRONG opinions and ALOT to say.....something smells fishy around here.
  21. Well, I should have stuck to my 2 TD prediction before I let all the jabber in this board influence me. Jay McAdams, you've waited patiently, now is your time. Make the most of it. You did an excellent job tonight when you were given the opportunity to put the ball in the air. Coaches made excellent adjustments. I loved seeing the "I".
  22. Man it's a good thing we have "depth" or that could be a problem. Oh wait, depth doesnt mean anything cause you can only out 11 on the field at one time. I forgot. In all seriousness, Shonte is the man, but if needed, I believe Jay McAdams could come in and do the job just fine. One of the perks of getting our backups alot of playing time in the past couple years.
  23. All this mumbo jumbo dont mean squat! It's game day baby! NE takes a whippin, book it! I have a feeling HC will open the passing attack tonight. Well see. PATRIOTS...PREPARE FOR GLORY!
