  2. Looking for a few more tams to join us in the Halls Invitational this year. Let me know if you are interested. 2019 Halls Invitational Wrestling Tournament Saturday, January 19, 2019 Halls High School 4321 E. Emory Road Knoxville, TN 37938 Entry Fee: $150.00 Seeding Meeting: Wednesday (1-16) 7:00-9:00 PM. This tournament will be run on Track Wrestling. Please input your roster and seeding information in no later than Tuesday (1-15). An email will be sent out closer to tournament time with directions on how this needs to be done. Extra Wrestlers: Please send me an email with any other varsity caliber wrestlers you would like to see in the tournament. Do not put them in track. We will enter them if possible to fill out a full 16 man bracket. Weigh-ins: Weigh-ins will start at 8:00 am on a first come basis. We will have two scales set up in different locations to speed up this process. Scales will open at 7:00 am. Wrestling Begins: 10:00 am Wrestling Ends: Around 8:00 pm Format: We will use a 16 man scramble format. The first three rounds will be round robin. The winners of each pool advance to the top 4. The pool runner-up advance to the 5th-8th place matches. Awards: Medals awarded to the top 4. We will wrestle out matches to determine top 8. Team awards to the top three teams. We will also have a best match and OW voted on by Halls Alumni.   12. You will have another shot at us at the individual region tournament. I am glad that your team is much improved. We welcome the competition. It makes our region stronger and more competitive. Not sure about the coward comment. We have always wrestled as much tough competition as possible. This conversation is over. I need to prepare my kids for the state duals.   13. I am sure you are speaking of Region II. Gibbs and Halls were snowed out of our district match. We agreed to flip a coin to decide who would be the one seed and who would be the two. I am really not sure what this is about considering Halls defeated HVA 56-12 and Bearden 47-21 in the regular season. Halls and Gibbs both beat the two top teams in district 4. How can you honestly say this was unfair?
