He will not be able to stay in the county unless he stays at NE. No one else in the system would hire him. THe head coaches would not want him on their staff. He demoralized NW coaches and stabbed them in the back by posting stuff about the head coach on here.

Totally Agree. I know Southerland might say he dont want it but he would take it if they asked. The system has an athletic director that dictates what goes on at all the clarksville schools and he will have most of the say over the hiring. By the way whether Southerland was 1st year or 10th year it would be a terrible hire.

The region is not an excuse. It did not happen to Clarksville they went to the playoffs 2 of the 4 years they were in that region. I garauntee you the rick butler NE teams could have not only played in that region but won it. It is totally the administration not caring enough about the program. You have to have a coach and support him, get him what he needs to compete (equipment) and make sure he has coaches in the building walking the halls. That helps the kids more than anything because they will be in contact, trust and respect their coaches more on and off the field. It can be done they just need to gut the program, hire coaches to fill vacant teaching spots and give them rebuilding time. I know there will be teaching spots but the administration wont consider sports when hiring teachers. The bad thing is it will be Southerland and a bunch of parents and it will be that much longer to fix the problem.

I think what he is asking is that a team can't participate in any football related skills like passing leagues during June. I Know Vanderbilt held their big passing weekend in June. And from what I have heard that is true teams can only lift in June.

I dont see where you find this to be that much better than Kenwood's Kenwood played 5 playoff teams one common opponent in Shelbyville with basically the same result as maplewood had. Maplewood only played 5 teams with 500 or better records and 2 off those were only 6-4 and 6-3. And lets go ahead and add that region 6 has had 3 ranked in or near top ten all year. One more thing I believe it was the same mouth running by boski that had him eating crow after the first round game last year. Remember that other team from clarksville coming to maplewood and winning. I think there is no room for anyone to say that the top 4 teams in 6AAAA are not better than 5AAAA. EX I would say beech 4th place is way better than 4th place Shelbyville. and same can be said for 3rd place kenwood and 3rd place tullahoma. I guess what I am saying is both regions have poor teams at the bottom. but 6AAAA is better 1-4 than 5AAAA. With that said I think the best team period in the regions is hillsboro

Hasnt Northeast been blown out by ever team in Clarksville with the exception of a rebuilding Northwest team. Northeast would be terrible in 4A as well

When Clarksville High School Was in 6 5A they competed. They spent 4 years in 5A and went to the playoffs 2 of those year and just missing by a week ten game in another year. They were very competitive in 5A. 2001- lost to Galatin in first round 2004- lost to Franklin in second round 10-7 ( franklin went on to play in the championship that year) I guess my point is region 6 5A is no excuse to not have a good football team. They have the talent they just dont produce.

Fletcher And Frederick were both 6-5A athletes they both play for CHS before they dropped to 6-4A...

IF Centennial can run the ball at all they will hae no problem in beating a very poor NE run defense.
