  1. Everyone is, lets hope they bring on a program builder who cares about the kids!1
  2. Coach Aydelott has resigned and its time for a new era in Riverdale Football. Lets hope they pick the right man for the job. A program building, player oriented coach who cares about the legacy and the kids!!
  3. Finally, Coach A has resigned!!!! He's going to Mill Creek Middle School.....
  4. His info and online link was sent to Cumberland at the HC.....not even a look???
  5. Truth be told, many of the kids at Ravenwood have lived in Nolensville since the announcement of the new high school. Should be interesting to see how many will now follow since they live there..
  6. Ive been to every QB Club meeting for the past 14 years. Ive given of my time, my money and my efforts to give the kids at the school the best possible. If you want to hear me talk to your face come to the next QB Club meeting and youll hear it from many...not just me. Why don't you use your power and give a good kid a chance a Cumberland like Brandon Bea. A good Christian kid that sacrificed his senior year to come play at Riverdale only to be beat down by a coach that doesn't know how to use talent...
  7. You really don't get the whole concept of a blog do you? This is a place where anyone can air their views and comment and remain behind the scenes. It you what everyone to know and pound your chest there's this new thing called Facebook!!!
  8. Been a supporter of this program since 92 and have seen all the highs and lows. You know as a coach yourself when a program has been driven in the ground and your not doing anything to help bring it back then any respectable coach would move on. Its at the lowest point ive ever seen since 93...its truly sad whats going on there..
  9. If you knew anything at all about what has been going on in the Riverdale program you would know that the only cancer that needs to be cut out is Coach A...
  10. Well, since the meeting just happened it would have been hard to post on something that hadn't taken place yet..
  11. No ones bragging and I had nothing to do with getting the meeting together. Just reporting it..
  12. Parents of players a Riverdale threaten to boycott the next season of even transfer their kids to other county schools using the IBP loop hole if coaching changes aren't made. In meeting of ten players parents their discuss with the current state of the program was prevalent. When this many parents plan to revolt there must be some real issues that need to be resolved. Let's hope so. We would hate to see this once proud program fall into mediocrity.
  13. Does anyone know if there will be any internet TV broadcast?
  14. Go Patriots, bring it home to Rutherford County!!
  15. Wasnt comment on that, was commenting on the STOP statement!!
  16. Being a Riverdale fan has nothing to do with this. For you football geniuses, Stop is a general term which would include slow down in a real world. I keep forgetting how literal some people think on here. The one thing for sure is that if Maryviile thinks they are looking at another Blackman defense they would be making a big mistake overlooking Oakland..Despite some people playing it down they are a lot better than Blackman. Led the division in fewest yards gained on the ground. Led the division in sacks. Held the top rushing 4A school in the state to minus 4 yards rushing in the game....they are good!!
  17. Tough game for both teams. Congrats to Oakland. After see ith Blackman game Oaklands D will have to be able to stop the deep ball big plays. Maryvilles running game is that impressive but they pass the lights out of it...
  18. After seeing the Blackman game the key to this game will be the Oakland secondary and if the y can prevent to deep ball. I have no doubt that Oakland's defensive line can stop the run of Maryville. Stopping the big plays will be the key to this one. Oakland's team is much better than the Blackman team by far..
  19. Save me an Oakland Dog and a hot chocolate....
  20. Good luck Blackman, make our county proud...fight hard.
  21. If anyone can this year it will be Oakland. They are the real deal and getting better each week..
  22. And we all saw what happened with the supporter funding!!! They go hand in hand..
  23. Everyone here knows its going to be a process. I guess they need to adopt Butch Jones brick by brick method. We just need the right mason...
  24. The problem is the pay rates come from the county level school boards. Sitting in on many of those budget meetings even if they had the money they would rather allocate it to what they consider more effective use of funds. They even tie the hands of the QB Clubs assisting. They think that allowing them to teach or be a drivers ed teacher is enough of a supplement. The key to a successful program is just that, a program not a coach. But, that coach has to be bought in to developing the complete program. Yes, Maryville is a successful program. Assistants what to be there as a launching point for their future success but they don't get paid any more than most 6A schools. Riverdale needs a man who is dedicated to building that type of program. If they found someone who was dedicated to that type of program development including conditioning, weigh lifting, under classman development and a who cared about his players you would see the funding flow open back up and issues like turf and facilities wouldn't be an issue. I and many in the supporter circles have begged for change and recently our concerns have been heard and we know change is coming....lets just hope they go after the right man for the job, not another drivers ed teacher. This Riverdale program should be one of the most respected and desired programs in the state so getting that right guy should be attractive to the right candidate.
  25. Thanks, a voice of sanity from the east....sorry I must have missed it....among the rest of the nonsense..
