Does anyone know who all the all tournament team was. I know White Countys,Greene,Brown, Mitchell, and Puckett. Also Cutter made it and Carter and Hughes but I forgot who else. Does anyone know the whole lineup?

Puckett did go back in and went in for a shot and they called a foul on him, I guess they just wanted him out. Greene had 20 Puckett 19 Delaney 18 Brown 13 Mitchell 10 All Tournament was Mitchell, Greene, Brown and Puckett

So sad that middle tn does not have anyone to vote for them. The Tennessean takes care of the teams near nashville and the East and West take care of their teams but the Middle Tn AP reps sure do not take care of Middle Tn. I don't know if they are just too lazy to vote or they just don't know anything about basketball. The Tennessean never sends anyone to see the games they just sit back and vote for their little teams who will be out of the tournament before finals roll around. After the state they should run the weekly polls and see if they got any right. Last year the winner was not ranked. Must be the same people voting.

I think Lebanon will win their game.

Don't have a dog in the race but don't you think sometimes a coach just has a lot more talent on the team and all their winning isn't the coach but because the boys have so much talent. Then you have the coach that may not win all the games but does a really good job with what he has.

He comes from a long line of good basketball players. His Mom also was good she played Juco and his aunt Nena played for UMKS. His Grandad was an awesome player also. That is the reason he is such a good fundamental player. He knows the game and is a 4.0 student so he understands a play when it is called. Basketball is a lot mental as well as being blessed with a lot of talent.

No School in White County today so lots of time to practice.

I don't think this years illness will have any affect on next year. Puckett broke his hand the same night that Hammonds broke his wrist. Sounds like a rough game but actually neither had anything to do with the other. I don't know what Hammonds other down time was but Puckett 's resistance was just down over his glucose problems and he took a virus that affected his respiratory system. This is Pucketts first down time since he has been playing high school basketball so its not something that just happens often. Good luck to both of them next year and Good Health.

Puckett is fine. Its the coach's decision not to start him. Why? who knows. He has been well enough to go in after a few minutes so if you are able to do that you are able to start. Maybe because he was sick with the deal with his sugar bottoming out then a serious virus and then broke his hand all within a few weeks. I don't see punishing a player for being sick but then I'm not the coach. In little more than a half he scored 20 points and a lot of rebounds last night, and his time has been limited the whole year. I think the coaches who voted on the all district team probably thought he played a full game like the other boys. I don't know of a post in the district that could beat him out one on one.

Sure didn't turn out like our votes but I think they just tried to divide it up among the schools which takes away from the honors.

why is everyone blaming Delaney for the 42 points. They were in a zone part of the time and man to man part of the time. In the man to man he belonged to Tyler Greene not Delaney but I think he would have had a good night no matter who was guarding him. Neither the refs nor Blackman beat WC. They beat themselves by not putting the ball inside to the big men. The guys were driving and losing the ball and driving and getting charges called on them. When you have a 6'6" center under the basket open a lot of the time does a guard drive the basket and lose the ball. This didn't happen just once nor 10 times it happened all night. If they had fed the ball to Puckett and Davis they wouldn't have lost the ball game. This is the coach's fault for letting them do it but old habits are hard to break and they will get them beat in the tournaments.

Do you know when the team will be announced? 8AAA is already out.

We may lack class GRAD but we know the difference between there and their.

WC should have been ahead of Blackman from the beginning. They let them stay in the game and then the refs took over from there. When you have a # 1 team called for 32 fouls and a T on a coach who never gets one you can bet something is up unless the other team has a lot of fouls called too. Blackman had 12 fouls called on them all night. A charge on one end was a foul and the other end it was a block. In short Blackman played with 8 players last night because they were home. It is not a win to be proud of. Sometimes some players on a team get carried away and foul out but when you foul out Delaney, Mitchell, Puckett,Greene,Brown and Johnson all there is something wrong that anyone should be able to see. This is not just because WC lost, you didn't hear complaining about the Lebanon nor the Oakland game being called bad but this one should make history. It a shame that it has to spoil the fact that Carter had 42 points for he is a good player without any help from the refs.

He still has to wrap his hand and wear a brace when not playing and he will always have the issue with the blood sugar but he says that he is okay. Don't know why Mitchell isn't starting him maybe its because he is afraid he isn't ready.

That what I was talking about. WC is full of talent. Before Puckett got sick he had an average of 16. something. But he has had games of late where he has just played a few minutes and scored 4 points two games and 8 or 10 more games. He is healthy again and I think you will see his average come back up. But when you have guys standing outside busting 3's you don't see much coming underneath. Teams will have to stop all of them if they want to win.

All you guys have an argument. This is the reason I didn't choose an MVP. I don't really know what they use to choose one. One year it seems to be the man who is most important to his team if the team is in the top 3 or 4. Then another time it might be the best man in the district. When Hammonds went down siegel lost their next several games. They are going to be tough when he gets back, real tough. WC is so good that you can take a kid off and still win a lot of games maybe not against the best teams but do all right. Delaney was off the first few games of the season and WC won and he got hurt in the Warren Co. game and WC won. He was not 100% in following Cookevill game and WC won they simply put the ball underneath to Puckett and he ended up with 25 or 27 points. They just switch who shoots the ball when someone is out. siegel, I think does not have the option of doing that. I would lots rather have a team that is well rounded than one where you rely on one or two players. Most teams can stop one or two good players but it is hard to beat a team where they can all score.

I've seen this said before but I didn't see any heavy subbing in the third quarter. The kids who play rotation to let someone rest came in but heavy subbing!!!!!!! The boys played great the best since Cookeville Tournament but the subs could not beat Oakland. The guys were all fired up because of everything that was going on. I f they could be fired up like that every game they would win them all but Oakland is no push over and WC will never beat them like that again. I hope they don't start thinking like they did after Cookeville because if they do they will get set down fast.

On top of everything else Aaron has had a virus since Tuesday night and did not get to go back to school until today. His Mom had to take him and get tests done. They gave him 2 pints of fluids and medicine for his stomach . He can't seem to get completely well.

they probably just taking it easy on him. Hopefully he will back to normal before the tourney begins. We need him Puckett is much better but he still has to check his sugar during the game to see when it drops but he will manage that okay. They xrayed his hand and it is broken instead of bruised. I knew that he took a hard fall against siegel and he was wearing it taped but it is broken. He will adapt to that too . He is a tough young man thats having a lot of bad luck but he wants his team to win more than anything.

Where did Antioch end up last year? I know they had a good team and were highly rated during the season but I don't know how they ended.
