With the leadership of Butler, Griffin, and Reedy. I think GC will run the table this year. They've been in every situation possible to overcome. With a amazing coach that has won coach of the year many times. They are the best basketball team in the state.

This new reigion is pretty tough. With many dominate teams in this distirict how tough will the competion be? Milan, Dyersburg, and Westview are all traditionally tough teams. What are yalls thoughts on this up coming season in 13AA

GC fans are headed out early in the morning. Hopefully we staying till saturday night and celebrated the gold ball coming back home with us. I wish everybody a safe ride up to the "BURO". May God bless us with three victories.

This team has been under the radar i guess. They are a west tn team that i didn't know was in the top ten. I know All of GCs starters have played on this court but one. I think they will handle the nerves fine. They still have the bitter taste from the last time they was here so i think they we come out with a boom. Scoring in transition and playing strong nose to nose D.

Well the drawings are done. Undefeated GC plays Boliver Central Thursday at the BURO. I don't know much about Boliver Central but i do know GC is one of the best girls teams i've seen. What is yalls thoughts on this game.

How about this fact.. GC has had only three games this year that have been within twenty points. Two to westview and one to OC. Both of them team were ranked top ten at one point this year. A team hasn't competed within 20 points the last eight games. They won both District championship and Region championship by a margin of twenty and thirty. These girls r the real deal.. they dominated the best district of girls basketball in the state. They have Defence and Offense. along with depth. I believe their B!!! team could place third in that district!! I know GC hasn't had very good luck in the BURO but I believe this year can be different. I agree with this 100 percent. Purple and Gold i wasn't trying to come off as a since of cockiness but the three best teams in this tournament r from 13aa and GC has beat them two or three times each.. As a current athlete myself i understand wat you mean though. A team needs a since of humbleness but along with confidence

Kinda like GC beat Westview the third time by twenty? and OC had trouble with Milan. after GC beat em two nights before by 40. GC will handle OC in the second round. They are very well coached with current 13aa coach of the year Mcmillan and many time coach of the year Russel. They will not be beat till they get to the BURO, if there.

Ralph held his own. Puttin up 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assist. No doubt hombolt is an awsome team and i hope the best for them in the future. But there is no reason a high school basketball team should score 100 points. No matter the talent.

Evidently you haven't seen ralph play.. A big reason the trenton game was close was due to he didn't play but maybe a quarter and a half. If he's on his game tonight you'll be very impressed

Another Blow out for the lady pioneers.winning by thirty tonight against a normally good bradford team.. Any thoughts on a squad that will beat the team any time this season.

If the GC Lady Pioneers stay healthy they will not be contested till state playoffs. GC has had many teams come through there that have been good, BUT not this good. Their starting five r unstoppable with a junior that transfered in that would be a star on any other team and a freshman that put up big numbers if you leave her open. O! Back off my boy GCP. He's good at what he does and has done it for a while. So if anybody has a problem with his post don't read them.

2A Back- Gibson County's Antone Cunningham. Over 1200 rushing yards missing the last two game. Linemen- Gibson County's Center Jeramy Copley. Big time offensive linemen.

How bout u check out the time possessions for the last four games. against trenton. we had the ball 32 minutes. hows that for domination

We recreated are O line after the TCA game. and have dominated every since. Wut people don't know is that. GC didn't have the scrimmages everybody else. We didnt have as much practice as everybody else did. Nobody knows wut we went through this summer and we just now have got to where everybody is in the right positions

Now the big guys get over looked alot. But you got to give them credit when credit is due. USJ and JCS have alright o Linemen but the r pass based offenses. Milan and Westview are probaly the top to O lines in the region. Trenton allowded 6 to 7 sacks against GC. Dresden has two hosses on the line. nuimbers 72 and 67 wich r great football players. but two players don't make the o line. You hafta look at Gibson Countys O line. with there O rushing for 1100 in three games you hafta give them some credit. 4 out of 5 of there linemen r 270 n up. with the Center Jeramy Copley probaly being a all stater.

LOL. You talk about a offensive game. Balls will be flying everywhere. These team are almost identical. Niether teams rush defense is very strong. but i doubt theres much rushing goin on. High scoring game I say USJ- 42 JCS- 49

I hafta agree. homecoming is a distraction. We played the sloppiest game we've played. having five fumbles and antone still having 375 all purpose yds. running and passing.

Westviews a REALLY good team. but i think if GC plays mistake free football. there better. R offense has only two seniors on it. I think its gonna be a defensive dual. and GC makes them play Pioneer football. GC- 17 Westview- 14
