  1. Glad Jellico got one. Special Teams POY was Kicker Jacob Teetzman #41. RB's/LB's Josh Kennedy #45 and Ryan Morris #33 joined him on the All-Region Team.
  2. Buckner from Jellico committed to the University of the Cumberlands
  3. I didnt say they were going to USC. It doesn't take much to get into a small NAIA or Division 3 school.
  4. I would have to say Buckner is the most athletic. You all should of seen the hurdle he threw out against Unaka. How fast does Hughes run his 40??
  5. This is a little off the subject...but who are the kids that will be playing football after high school?? From Jellico, Buckner is really the only one getting serious looks. He will probably go as an Athlete. I also think that Donnie Lay #60 OL/DL & Jordan Kellogg #3 WR may be able to go somewhere. And also, Brent Johnson #52 MLB/C (just a Junior though).
  6. ALF075!!! QUIT ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!
  7. Hampton won't be tested until they play Midway.
  8. I think this will be a decent game for at least a half. But I think Midway's 4 Horsemen will just be too much. Midway-40 Grace-22
  9. An MVP is somebody that a team can't live without. Like a Buckner from Jellico. He scored 26 of Jellico's 36 touchdowns. and only threw 5 interceptions. Im not saying Lunsford and Hughes arent any good. Im sure that the awards will be shared though. Like it was last year. Co-MVP, Co-Offensive POY, etc.
  10. What about Wannamaker & Amos from Grace? What about Buckner from Jellico? They are probably the best athletes in the region. I don't see how Lunsford would be MVP if all he does is hand the ball off. No offense to him but thats their offense. And if anybody from Cloudland won something, it should be Tipton. I just dont want to see anybody get robbed.
  11. Are they chosen after the playoffs?? And who win them along with the Region MVP and so on??
  12. Im gonna have to go with my Jellico boy's. Unaka had a bye week to prepare but Jellico pretty much did too by playing Hancock Co. last week. I look for a big game out of Jellico's QB Buckner, RB Marlow, WR Kellogg.
  13. I would have to say Grace. We could barely move the ball on Grace the second half and they kept us from scoring a single touchdown. Grace is the more balanced team. They can run and pass. When we played Cloudland, it didn't seem that they could throw that well (1-4, 40 something yards).
  14. Well in that case....that would mean Cloudland has the 4th best QB!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  15. Yeah, they can get about any player they want. Last year after they played Jellico, their coach asked our QB's dad if he wanted to move to Knoxville.
  16. It was a good game. It was 14-7 Jellico at halftime. Cloudland came out after the half and scored twice. Then Jellico scored and had a bad extra point snap. Then Cloudland scored again and made the score 28-20. Than Jellico scored and went for 2 and a kid dropped it in the back of the endzone. So that made it a final of... Cloudland-28 Jellico-26 Jellico couldn't make the proper adjustments to stop the trap play with #33. Buckner from Jellico had 3 touchdowns passes to 3 different receivers. Buckner WAS the best quarterback in this game.
  17. We have a couple pretty good runningbacks. (#13 & #33) A solid group of receivers staring #3. And of course....our QB #12. He's also a dual-threat guy. He probably runs about a 4.5 on his 40 now. Our line is really starting to step up for us. We're about 50/50 run pass. It just depends on whats working. I think we've kept everybody (besides Hampton) pretty much shut down with our defense this year. Should be a very good ballgame Friday. The boys at Jellico are really excited. They're considering this a BIG measuring stick.
  18. Are you talking about the team that scored 72 points on you?? Yeah...times that 21 by 3 and you all almost won /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Last year, Jellico had only won 1 game when they played Cloudland. So how confident do you think they were?? It was Cloudland's homecoming and they were playing a team that never beaten them. So how confident do you think Cloudland was?? So it sounds to me that Cloudland had a little but more confidence last year then Jellico. And by the way...your schedule ranking according to CoachT is 61st. That would be last in 1A
  19. Jellico at #6??? After they beat Cosby and Cosby beat Unaka and Grace got beat by Unaka????? Dang...5-1 and still no respect /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  20. Jellico's QB has 17 td's and over 1000 yds over total yards. We have at least 8 seniors on the field every play. We also have the exact same team (besides 3 players) that beat Cloudland last year. And by the way...Cloudland's QB probably got half of those touchdowns against North Greene
  21. Should be a good game. Whoever plays the better defense and has the least turnovers will win. I'm going to say.... Jellico-27 Cloudland-20
  22. Cosby-13 Unaka-8 Unaka can't rely on their defense forever. They will be like the Bears.
